I get these shoelace locks from Amazon where you thread the ends of your shoelaces into the plastic bits, and then snip the extra off. It keeps your shoelaces attached to the inside of the eyelet, and there's nothing extra hanging out.
The laces are sick nice shoes
Edit: if anyone is curious on the laces I found these reps on amazon here. The original site is sold out and never restocking
They look great! I have the charcoal r+t and love them.
I recommend grabbing a pair of leather laces. Amazon has 15 different colors for only $9.99

I use these laces
Have you tried switching to elastic shoe laces? Then you don't have to tie them, you just sorta pull on the string and they lock in place.
Somebody posted a link to a strap on Alibaba, but I couldn't tell too much about it on their website. I actually bought some straps and buckles from Amazon, but that didn't work out so well. OTOH, I got impatient and didn't give it the time it needed, since a shoelace works fine for me. Now if I could just find a flat, wider shoelace, I'd be good to go. I also use Lock Laces from Amazon, so I don't have to use a knot, and they let me quickly and easily adjust it tighter and looser: Lock Laces, from Amazon. Maybe not the best solution, but it works for me.
Maybe we can talk K3D into adding a strap kit to his product line?
Someone sent me this link a while back when I posted about having to pause a run to tie my shoes, and I picked up a set of these laces--they're very helpful!
Also, congrats!
I have the Sparco Puma high tops with the strap across them (can’t remember the exact name)…they e served me well since I got them when first building my rig.
Pro tip: get laces like this LOCK LACES (Elastic Shoelace and... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007DLVLDY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Makes the process of putting the shoes on and off a lot quicker, and you don’t really need to worry about looking like a nerd with elastic shoe laces bc 1) you’re in your own house 2) you’re already a nerd for wearing shoes to play a video game
Congrats.
I gave up on tying shoes years ago because of the cramping/pain it causes in my hands, so now:
Buy shoes that use velcro.
For my boots, I use zipper inserts so I don't have to worry about it.
That sucks and I wish OCD was understood more.
Have you tried Silicone Laces though? They are little silicone things that you put between your laces instead of laces.
Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/Homar-Adult-Elastic-Athletic-Shoelaces/dp/B0186Z5QAO
I love them because...
If you haven't tried them, I'd recommend at least trying them once. It was a game changer for me. I hope it helps you too.
I had this problem, due to problems with hands not working right/not being able to tie boots well.
So one pair of Zipper boot laces later and problem solved.
I suck at tying shoelaces. I never got the hang of it. They were always flopping around, id step on them, theyd untie, id trip. SO...these
Absolutely, I work in Sales so I'm always on my feet in a concrete showroom. I went to REI a few months ago because I was afraid to pay $150 for shoes I'd hate. I got the all black Bondi 7s and also bought no-lace laces (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DFK6EXS?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_275DGTYETTQQK32CY6RD) and now they're my go-to shoe for everything. With these laces, they feel tight and secure but are able to come off at any point. My feet will still hurt, but only on very busy weekends where I'm standing all 8+ hours without the ability to take a break.
I believe they were referring to this style of shoelace
One brand I have seen is "Lock Laces" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007DLVLDY
Oftentimes, the pull can be seaparted and you can just buy elastic cord at the hardware store or outdoor store and fix it yourself.
I'm using the Swift R3 Gore-Tex. I found was able to find them for $110. Expensive, but super nice.
I did hate the laces, though. I replaced them with these and they're great: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007DLVLDY
You want to boost your brain size some more?
I've used these on some of my normie shoes for a while: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0186Z5QAO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just got a set to put on my squat shoes and it's been a revelation! No laces, no tying. They should work well enough for what shoes you wear lifting but the squat shoes (which I also bench with) in particular are a winner since they've got a strap to back up the laces.
Pop pop, strap strap. Lift.
Regarding the BOA, I swapped out my traditional laces for some Lock Laces. They work really well. I found them searching for the best triathlon laces, since they have to be put on quick and stay on.

this? i'm wondering if leather will chafe more than a shoestring
Unfortunately dr martens doesn’t sell them separately.
I’ve seen some pretty cheap on amazon, here’s one. . They’re not leather and I’m not sure how well they’d hold up, but it’s not much to try.
Danner sells some. . They’re a good brand and leather, but they’re more money. I’ve never tried any of these so I don’t know if they’d line up exactly or if it really matters if they don’t?
Lock Laces These helped me at my heaviest, they really work.
I'm happy with my plan for Thursday, which is to have 3.5-4 ounces of turkey, a small helping of stuffing, and a larger helping of acorn squash. I want to enjoy the holiday without having regrets on Friday.
Lock laces. Link here if you're in the UK.
I’d try eBay and Amazon. The eBay link is buy 2 get 1 free and they have have a decent color selection. The Amazon link has a 28 pack but is sold out for now.

Lock laces. They're essentially really good shock cord. My feet swell a LOT from start of hike to end so I leave these loose and let the blood swell into them I currently am wearing them with Vans Ultrarange mid boots but I have a different pair on my everyday zero drop shoes and they're the 🐝 knees for easy on-off

I don't know if they exist, my friend. I got these cheap ones from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087JJP3DP
I got them in the mail today and they're slightly thicker than the one that comes on the OW, but they're still thin enough to fit the loops.
You are welcome! Very happy to help! :)
In my experience people in this sub are generally very helpful and welcoming, so don't worry and ask away at anything.
With the $8 you'll be saving I recommend you get these with your Zetrablades (if you're so inclined): https://www.amazon.com/LACES-Elastic-Shoelace-Fastening-System/dp/B007DLVLDY/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=quicklace&qid=1629613259&sprefix=quickla&sr=8-5
These quick lacing system will give you very fine tune pressure control, let you feel extra support.
Good luck, welcome to the world of inline skating and let us know how it goes! :)
Highly highly highly super duper highly recommend that you get a quicklace system for those since they are soft boots. Here's the one that I own: https://www.amazon.com/LACES-Elastic-Shoelace-Fastening-System/dp/B007DLVLDY/ref=mp_s_a_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=quicklace&qid=1628907038&sr=8-12
Dude I have some shoes I hike in or run in that come undone even when double knotted. If had to do this every couple miles, it would drive me crazy! I've already been switching my shoes out to these:https://www.amazon.com/LACES-Elastic-Shoelace-Fastening-System/dp/B007DLVLDY
