Tibetan singing bowls are my favorite meditation focus object. The soothing vibrations are delightful to those seeking to quiet their mind. Their use inherently promotes mindfulness by requiring concentration with little thought.
You "rub' the side of the bowl with the included striker and the bowl "sings".
They are beautiful. Get a handmade one from a Nepalese/Tibetan handicraft shop online or resale shop if you can. It's easy to tell the handmade ones because they're irregular and clearly hammered by hand. Like this one. They're made of various metals like silver and copper, and will last a lifetime and look great on a shelf so they make a great gift.
They start small and the large ones have such a strong vibration that they are more like a gong. You could easily find one sized to meet your price range.
Quartz Crystal singing bowls are a similar option, the sound is more uniform since they're machine precision made. The character of the sound is different, and it's down to preference what you like using.
I bought mine from Amazon. To me it was much better than buying from a store. I knew i was gambling a bit not having heard the sound quality in person but i love it. I also tried going into a local Tibetan store and actually purchased one but really nothing beats the price like on Amazon.

I wanted a lower tone but not too deep so a 7" was perfect. I'm only suggesting this to you based on my preference. I also watched all the YouTube videos suggesting having to listen to the sounds before purchasing. But even with that advice, after searching for 2 days online and also having bought one in store I'm happy with my purchase through Amazon.
