They make crockpot liners. Take the challenge of washing a crockpot on a bathroom sink out of your life. https://www.amazon.com/Reynolds-Cooker-Liners-4-Count-Regular/dp/B002U0KKK8
Probably a lot of takeout and then also get disposable plates and silverware and cups you know. Make it easier on yourselves
They make air fryer lids for instant pots. Amazon Link
Coincidentally enough I was just thinking about cooking more and wounded up browwsing /r/slowcooking and bought a crockpot from Amazon today: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EZI26DW/ref=psdc_289940_t3_B00EZI26GO
Got it from their Warehouse deals for about $31, when buying appliances or electronics I highly recommend checking out what is available in Amazon Warehouse.
Direct link, so you don't have to search through that cancer of a website to find the Instant Pot.

This is not nearly as good a deal as Walmart had a few weeks ago.
I have the Brad and Taylor home proofing box. Despite having the right temperature set, it still takes me 4.5-5.5 hours to fully proof. Might be my yeast is not very fresh. Either way, I've learned to just tell by looking at the dough and don't bake them until the layers are nice and cracked.

It was an instant pot duo, it came with the standard pressure lid and an air fry lid. I use both functions fairly often, and I was a skeptic going in (more towards the air frying side). I saw that they’re selling after market air fryer lids now, and I believe the premise is the same, but the functions are built right in to the machine on mine.

Why don’t you get some crock pot liners? You’ll be able to just throw them out when you’re done instead of worrying about washing it.
Depending on how much you have to spend I would recommend a couple of different things. I had a slow cooker, an air fryer, and an Instant Pot when my sister and I downsized last year, smaller house = much less counter space. We have since then upgraded to the Instant Pot Duo Crisp ~ $120, which takes the place of all three. You can look in the Amazon Warehouse and pick "used - very good" option (banged up box basically, but the item was fine, it's packaged extremely well) as the others list "cosmetic damage" which could mean unseen damage that they couldn't see. In my opinion the cheaper price isn't worth the risk due to the pressure cooking aspect.
If you can't afford that (totally get that, not judging, I had to save up for a while to get mine) I would go with one of the cheaper ones others have listed or look into a slow cooker or air fryer.
THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME SEVERAL MONTHS AGO ABOUT HALF WAY THROUGH COOKING AN EXPENSIVE CUT OF PORK! I WAS SOOOO UPSET. MY HUSBAND BOUGHT ME A NEW CROCK POT FOR MY BIRTHDAY LAST MONTH AND I LOVE IT! THIS IS IT, IT HAS A PROBE YOU CAN STICK IN THE MEAT THAT READS THE TEMP ON THE OUTSIDE AND ALSO YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE WHAT COOK TIME YOU WANT WHICH IS GREAT, MY OLD ONE DIDN'T HAVE AS MUCH CUSTOMIZATION. DISREGARD THE AMAZON PRICE, THEY MUST BE SOLD OUT (THEY MAKE THE PRICE CRAZY WHEN THAT HAPPENS) I PAID LIKE $45 FOR IT! HAMILTON BEACH CROCK POT
Hamilton Beach slow cookers have always served me well. This particular model has a probe you can use for stuff like roasts or whole chickens to get them perfect, as well as your standard Low/High and time settings. One thing to note, even though the picture on amazon shows the clamps locked down, never lock them while cooking! It can cause a dangerous buildup of pressure that could result in shattering the glass. The clamps are only meant to secure the lid after cooking for transportation.
They’re crockpot liners, and yes, that’s exactly what they’re for! Most grocery stores have a generic brand, but usually I buy Reynolds from Amazon just because it easy and cost effective. It truly does make clean up easy so I don’t have to hand wash the crock every time! I don’t have a dishwasher, I AM the dishwasher, so this was an easy decision when I found them.
Reynolds Kitchens Slow Cooker Liners (Regular Size, 6 Count)
what u/harleyquinn1234 said. its basically a fryer, but instead of regular deep frying with oil, it fries stuff with hot air convections. and the lid works on most 6qt IPs. i bought it from amazon https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07VF7J5VQ
Not sure if this is better, but it might be made out of nylon. People use it so they don’t have to clean the crockpot. It’s supposed to be BPA free. I’m assuming it’s food grade safe as the retailers / manufacturers don’t want to get sued.
I have this Hamilton Beach slow cooker. Sorry I can't calculate cost for you. I love it. I've never used the probe feature. I haven't ran across a recipe that requires it.
Looks great buuuuuuuut you forgot the Crock Pot Liners. They are life changing.

Starches and fats, while not high on the list of "good for you" things, are good for the "I don't really want to eat, but I need to," feeling. Bake a potato in the microwave, make ramen noodles, instant mac and cheese. Chug a glass of V8 while you're at it for the extra vitamins. (I also do this when I'm sick because I hate chicken soup. Peanut butter is also a good energy food that doesn't sit heavily in the stomach.
I'd also recommend a steak. Red meat will likely help a lot with the suggishness you are feeling. Iron levels tend to fluctuate for most women during their period and more so if your period is irregular. I like pot roast when I'm having a bad month, I get the red meat, plus the comfort food of the potatoes and carrots and all I have to do is dump it all in a pan and bake it for a couple of hours. Similarly, you can throw most cuts of beef into the oven and bake them for less effort. Don't want to do dishes? Crockpot liners are a thing.
Iron supplements are also a thing. I have digestive issues if I take one every day, but I do take them around my period or if I go a few days without any red meat. They're inexpensive and they really do help a lot.
Pedialyte is also good, especially if you are bad a drinking water. Your body can't process food if you are dehydrated, which is why your appetite will decrease if you aren't drinking enough water. Get rehydrated and you'll feel better in a hurry.
Here's a fun idea you may have not considered: Get a 12 volt crock pot and cook your food while you drive!

Throw in a beef chuck or chunk or pork shoulder, some salt and pepper and whatever vegetables you like and dinner is served
If you want go to go that road again, it's a deal of the day on Amazon.
$50 at Amazon and is all fancy and programmable. You can buy an even less expensive one that you don't really program for less (which is what I have) and works fine. When I moved in with my husband, he had a crock pot brand one (old school) and I had a newer one I bought at Walmart. Mine cooks great, not too hot, doesn't let the moisture evaporate, etc. His was terrible and I didn't feel bad when I accidentally left the plastic lid too close to the stove burner one day and it melted. My lid on mine is heavy - metal and glass, no rattling with steam. His lid was very light and plastic type material. Rattled and let steam out.
No, sorry. I don't know what people know or don't know, so I err on don't know. So I just went up on Amazon and figure I'm gonna get one. It is programmable!!!
I used an Instantpot's slow cook function a while back and i agree with many others here that a pressure cooker "slow cook" is not great. You should pickup a crockpot of sorts. There are tons out there. Here is one with great reviews:

You can buy 12v crock pots. They work as good as a small crock pot.
You can find it on Amazon or any pilot/flyin j, Petro/ta, loves
RoadPro Quart Slow Cooker, Auto Travel, 12V https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013IR88A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_cr6FFbC0RK86M
Little cooker oven
RoadPro 12V Portable Stove https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ES5Y1I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_au6FFbZFVHBXH
The cooker takes like an hour or 2 to cook a piece of meat. But it’s a little oven that runs off a 12v plug.
For me it is a good deal bc my husband has been hounding me to get an air fryer. I have limited counter space and my storage is about max. So, it's cheaper for me and my situation to buy an attachment for the IP... than it is to buy another device that's about the same cost, but possibly does less and takes up more space.
I didn't buy my IPs both were gifted to me, therefore I'm not sure of the cost. They were bought around Nov.-Dec. so the people who bought them might have very well gotten a black Friday deal or some other kind of deal.
This promotion is also the same at another retailer. William's Sonoma.
The IP air fryer duo crisp bundle on Amazon, it's $149. So it's $9 more for this bundle than it is for the regular price of the attachment, which is on a discount, so yeah. I think for what my needs are, I found a great deal. I surely don't need another IP for an air fryer when I already have two IPs.
Edit: fixed some typos.
No worries, anytime! Have fun, it gets pretty easy. I haven't purchased any myself, but you should strongly consider getting Crock Pot liners for super easy cleanup. It can be pretty annoying to clean it.
Don't forget to make Upvote Soup. I'm waiting for a perfect day to try it, although it's probably more of a fall/winter recipe.
I would buy a small slow cooker and make stuff in that.
Chicken Breast + Tin Chopped Tomatoes + some Spice Mix, that kind of thing.
Other than that learn to steam vegetables in your microwave. (Also how to cook/steam plain rice in the microwave since big packets of rice are ten times cheaper than some microwave pouch).
If you're cutting, which it sounds like you are, chicken + veg + rice is an easy starting point.
Even cheaper ones available, depending on size
A real UPS would work fine and wouldn't have to be very big. On low, slow cookers are around 70W, certainly less than 100W. The issue would be switching time. The UPS would have to detect the outage fast enough to switch to backup power before the cooker resets. Many devices sold, especially inexpensively, as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) are really standby power supplies (SPS).
Personally, I prefer manual slow cookers which don't have such concerns. Even if you lose power for several minutes they'll be fine. It should be noted that I am used to fairly regular power glitches as I switch from utility power to generator to battery/inverter. This does make me more sensitive to the implications than someone only subject to glitches and outages during the occasional storm.
It's an 11 in 1 Instant pot, I got it as a gift for my birthday, but you can also buy it online. Here's a link to it - https://www.amazon.com/Instant-Pot-Air-Fryer-One-Touch/dp/B07VT23JDM/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
They make the best pizza rolls.
Also, there's an Instantpot lid that turns it into an air fryer, which might be of interest to save on counter space.
Yep, like the electric pressure cooker.
Which you should have anyway. Spring for the one with the air fryer. This one.

Seriously. My 12 year old grandson, the one who can't remember to keep his shoes tied, and puts the salad in the freezer? He can cook a wonderful dinner with it.
