They make crockpot liners. Take the challenge of washing a crockpot on a bathroom sink out of your life. https://www.amazon.com/Reynolds-Cooker-Liners-4-Count-Regular/dp/B002U0KKK8
Probably a lot of takeout and then also get disposable plates and silverware and cups you know. Make it easier on yourselves
I'm not the person you're replying to, but I usually buy my generic bags on Amazon—something like these or these. They've always worked fine for me; the only hitch is that the rolls are much larger than the Foodsaver brand rolls (because they're 50 feet long by 11 inches wide, as opposed to 16' x 11"), and the lid of the roll compartment won't close if I put a whole roll there. The first few times, I unspooled about a third of the new roll and wrapped it around the cardboard tube from an old roll of Foodsaver bags. That worked, but now I'm lazy and just let the lid stay open with the huge roll sort of perched in there.
Foodsaver makes expandable pleated vac bags. Work like a champ for large cooks. Biggest piece I have fit in one is a 17# whole packer brisket. Just have to be a bit careful with the seal as it is essentially going through 4 layers of bag. When I use them I double seal at each end just to be sure, and if it is a long cook, I will double bag and double seal.
Why don’t you get some crock pot liners? You’ll be able to just throw them out when you’re done instead of worrying about washing it.
Perhaps you can use a microwave safe plate? Sheesh!

Edit** I did a search on Amazon for "microwave safe plate for bacon"... Results:http://www.amazon.com/Nordic-Ware-Microwave-Bacon-Defroster/dp/B00080QJXE
They’re crockpot liners, and yes, that’s exactly what they’re for! Most grocery stores have a generic brand, but usually I buy Reynolds from Amazon just because it easy and cost effective. It truly does make clean up easy so I don’t have to hand wash the crock every time! I don’t have a dishwasher, I AM the dishwasher, so this was an easy decision when I found them.
Reynolds Kitchens Slow Cooker Liners (Regular Size, 6 Count)
Not sure if this is better, but it might be made out of nylon. People use it so they don’t have to clean the crockpot. It’s supposed to be BPA free. I’m assuming it’s food grade safe as the retailers / manufacturers don’t want to get sued.
Looks great buuuuuuuut you forgot the Crock Pot Liners. They are life changing.

Starches and fats, while not high on the list of "good for you" things, are good for the "I don't really want to eat, but I need to," feeling. Bake a potato in the microwave, make ramen noodles, instant mac and cheese. Chug a glass of V8 while you're at it for the extra vitamins. (I also do this when I'm sick because I hate chicken soup. Peanut butter is also a good energy food that doesn't sit heavily in the stomach.
I'd also recommend a steak. Red meat will likely help a lot with the suggishness you are feeling. Iron levels tend to fluctuate for most women during their period and more so if your period is irregular. I like pot roast when I'm having a bad month, I get the red meat, plus the comfort food of the potatoes and carrots and all I have to do is dump it all in a pan and bake it for a couple of hours. Similarly, you can throw most cuts of beef into the oven and bake them for less effort. Don't want to do dishes? Crockpot liners are a thing.
Iron supplements are also a thing. I have digestive issues if I take one every day, but I do take them around my period or if I go a few days without any red meat. They're inexpensive and they really do help a lot.
Pedialyte is also good, especially if you are bad a drinking water. Your body can't process food if you are dehydrated, which is why your appetite will decrease if you aren't drinking enough water. Get rehydrated and you'll feel better in a hurry.
We use these from Amazon: Commercial Bargains 2 Jumbo 11" x 50' Commercial Vacuum Sealer Saver Bags Sous Vide Food Storage https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I1OM7TO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_LNqdybCRYWR0N
They work just as well as foodsaver bags in our foodsaver machine.
Not all bags are created equal. For example, these bags (Commercial Bargains 2 Jumbo 11" x 50' Commercial Vacuum Sealer Saver Bags Sous Vide Food Storage https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I1OM7TO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_yi.iybJDJ3R7Y) are the most popular on Amazon but the rolls I received were crap. The texture that creates the channels allowing air to escape was not consistent and often the exact scenario OP described would happen. Also about 1/3 through the first roll I started having issues with the vacuum not being maintained long term. Turned out there was a tiny, pin-prick hole punched through the roll. Just enough to allow the vacuum seal to leak over a period of days.
For what it's worth I purchased these (2-Pack WESTON 11"x50' Rolls Commercial Grade Vacuum Bags 3mil Vacuum Seal Rolls https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H8AL9DW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Li.iybC2V86JA) based on several recommendations in this sub Reddit. The texture is much more pronounced and so far they seem to work great.
No worries, anytime! Have fun, it gets pretty easy. I haven't purchased any myself, but you should strongly consider getting Crock Pot liners for super easy cleanup. It can be pretty annoying to clean it.
Don't forget to make Upvote Soup. I'm waiting for a perfect day to try it, although it's probably more of a fall/winter recipe.
Protip: Amazon sells rolls that you can use with a foodsaver, but the rolls are too large to fit (my) foodsaver so I always save an empty roll, then take a length off the costco roll, tape it onto the old "foodsaver" roll and then roll up and tighten it. Takes maybe 5 minutes but saves a lot.

This is the one I used but you need to sacrifice a quick connect tank valve and will need to get a standard adapter hose kit.
Because when you fry it you get the uncooked rubbery parts.
Begin bacon cooking rant:
The best way to cook bacon is in the microwave. Use a bacon tray to deal with the fat runoff. (Be sure and get one that will fit in your microwave.) It will spatter like crazy so cover it with some paper towels. If your microwave has power settings, use them. That way it won't get burned or crispy on the edges before the middle cooks.

This is what I use. Really like that its made from billet instead of casting or sintered. I think the seller is a member of the sub. I ended up grabbing my hose and CGA320 nipple of Grainger so I would know im getting something FDA approved and of good quality.
Universal Co2 Tank Adapter for Soda Making https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MPVY426/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_446098HPBZ03CDJA9ED5
Is the American made one. I don't trust cheap Chinese metal so worth the cost to me.
Had ours 4 months with no issues. Did have to make it super tight to not leak though.....but it doesn't leak now.

I have a terra and I used a quick connect valve from one of their co2 tanks and an adapter hose with this adapter from Amazon. Works great

I have a terra and I used a quick connect valve from one of their co2 tanks and an adapter hose with this adapter from Amazon. Works great with my 5lb tank I used to use for carbonating kegs of beer.
For Terra, because the new connection doesn't seem to have an
aftermarket replacement being made yet, then should be done a little differently
You need to take the valve from a Terra cylinder, then
adapter to that, and rest of hose etc. You can make the intermediate adapter yourself,
or someone made a nice one and selling on Amazon for $25. (It was posted a
couple weeks back.)

nice adapter, I made one that uses the valve that comes with the Co2 tank. The only worries I have for yours it the 800+ psi and 3D printed parts. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MPVY426?ref=myi_title_dp
Technically you can with the proper adapter which another Reddit member has created and sales on Amazon.

I use crockpot liners instead of foil. They are made to withstand high temps and create a great protective seal around my cheesecake.
I'm sure you already know but there are 'expandable' sous vide rolls/bags that have pleats on the sides and some are good for 20" items.
This one seems popular.

You might not have time to pick some up before you have to cook your rib eye log, but I thought I would mention it.
I’ve done whole bird twice. It helps that I’m a homebrewer so have a large cooler, so your mileage may vary. 1. I brined the turkey beforehand, per regular brining instructions.
Used these bags: FoodSaver 11" x 16' Expandable Heat-Seal Rolls for Food Preservation, Freezer Bags & Sous Vide Bags, Clear https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00851QSDO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_YTMBNSJWP1NB9WDP8098?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Cook at 150° for 24 hours. (I think I actually did 18, but Sous vide is very forgiving. For a smaller bird, some websites are even suggesting as low as 6 hours, but when doing a whole bird I’d be nervous with that shirt of a cook.
Finish in oven at 450°
I think the anova guide for this is brilliant.
This one. Honestly it's been ages since I actually made skillet bacon. I like it crispy so basically you play chicken with the "add 30 seconds" button till it looks right.
