Naw. The purchased one is cheaper and it's made of TPU so it's soft and flexible.

I printed on in PLA and was always worried that it would scratch something.

Plus I have to say that there are better stands - the watch sometimes doesn't connect with the magnet.

This Spigen stand gives a much more reliable connection to the charger and it's only $8.

Regardless, I think it looks pretty cool, although I'm too lazy to deal with that everyday. I just slap my watch on a $10 Apple Watch charging stand for 30 min a day and call it done.

This one. I just got it a few days ago and it's awesome, great price too. I used to fumble around with my charger at night and now it has a sturdy home. Highly recommend! Doesn't take up much space and is very minimalistic.

Possibly, or you could almost certainly find a model of a compact Mac and mangle it yourself. But a little googling says you can get them on Amazon for $9, and at that price I'm not sure 3D printing is worth it.

I only stopped using it because I purchased the Spigen MagSafe Duo to use with my MagSafe charger for my phone. I’ve been very happy with it so far.

I’ll probably end up taking the Orzly to my office whenever I stop working from home so I’ve got a charging stand there as well. I should note that neither of these stands comes with an extra charging puck. I just happened to have 2 from over the years of owning Apple Watches.

I use the Spigen dock which was like $7 on Amazon. I got the Moko one for my wife. They are both soft touch and kind of like a stiff silicone/tpu. I've had no issues and they look decent, especially for the price.

You just have to press it bit hard to insert the puck into the cutout. It stays fixed after that.

If charging on the go, you'll want to make sure that USB Mode is set to Garmin instead of Mass Storage. It's a good idea to test this out ahead of the run. I've heard of people sometimes getting prompted mid run to confirm the USB Mode, so just remember which is the "right" option to pick if that pops up.

My personal preference is to just plan on charging a little during the race, rather than missing out on features I use or sacrificing GPS quality by turning things off to reduce battery consumption. (Okay, my personal preference was actually to upgrade to a watch with a better battery life so I don't have to think about it, lol - but totally relatable that not everyone can or wants to do that)

They sell a charger on Amazon with a round base and you just plug it into the port. The watch sits face up on it. It’s amazing and I’m surprised Garmin hasn’t made one because keeping my watch on the charger has always been so frustrating. This solves the problem and it’s super cheap. Amazon

We have a couple of these and they work great. The charger that comes with the watch fits in and the watch rests on its side in nightstand mode on the stand. Have used one for over 2 years with no issues at all.
