Why in the hell are you spending TWO GRAND on a car?!? I am smart and financially responsible so I got this:
Little Tikes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Car [link]
This is more than enough car to get me to and from my 2 million dollar a year job. Plus there is enough room in the back for my weekly bag of lentils. There is no need to waste money on such a frivolous purchase. Sure a 1998 Toyota Corolla with 300,000 miles on it will get you to work, but at what cost? Use your brain or you will never FIRE. Stupid poor.
You charge it like a phone. So it charges by USB just like a phone would.
I buy the cheapest one I can find and I like the 20000mAh (the big boys)
Here is an Amazon link to one I personally bought.
You can do more then you think with USB power. I can last 4 days charging my gadgets with moderate use. It take leaving it at work one day over night to charge it fully. I have 4 of them just on case.
So, normally I would totally recommend an Anker brand. I have a lot of their products, but with regard to this specific battery pack, I've had issues.
In the past when I owned this model, it does not correctly adjust the draw it will put on a USB port, and will try to draw more than 2.1 AMPs on a port that isn't capable of more than that. I know this because I had both a personal and work macbook, and on both machines it will always cause the port to go into failsafe mode -- where it shuts down to prevent damage from something pulling way too many amps.
I also had an Anker charger, which I still use, which would go into failsafe mode itself when the battery was charing on it.
As a last resort, I even had Anker refund me and I bought a second battery pack on Amazon, thinking I got a lemon -- same exact result across both MacBooks and the Anker charger. So just be careful with these batteries, as you may run into problems.
I've had a great amount of success with this brand, and I carry this in my backpack currently: [link]
Every now and then Amazon has this charger on sale for around $25. You can charge your phone a lot before you need to charge the battery pack again. I carry a drawstring bag when I'm out playing pokemon. Too bulky to carry in a pocket.
So recently I bought a longboard from Amazon, the Atom drop through longboard.
Atom Drop Longboard - Green, 41 Inch [link]
Have I made a mistake in buying this as I'm very very new to longboarding and wasn't sure whether I'd enjoy it but I've soon found that reviews of this board were actually paid promotions.
What I've enjoyed doing so far is carving and I'm trying to learn to slide at the moment.
Is this a poor choice and if so could you recommend a good brand for that kind of boarding please?
Apologised for the essay 😂
I saw it on one of the reddits I subscribe too, brought back memories. Really them things were pretty cool. I'm going to see if they even make it anymore...BRB...
yep! at amazon here
From the Simpsons
Dr. S: Wait, did you know that there's a direct correlation between the decline of Spirograph and the rise in gang activity? Think about it.
[Dr. S picture]
It definitely does have the same effect! This is the coloring book I am currently using. I like gel pens, since you don't have to keep sharpening them like you do with colored pencils.
Ooo actually, I recommend Labyrinth. It's a 4 person game but I really like it. Link to the board game.

I love your gifts for him so I know he’s gonna love them too! This year was really hard on us as it was on a lot of people but something really horrible happened during my fiancées birthday so we don’t “properly” get to celebrate in Sept. So last week I got off work early and surprised her with sushi and a bday gift that had finally come in the mail... a hand made mini dumpster teakwood candle that said “2020” on it. So when you light it, 2020 is a dumpster fire, lol.
For Christmas this is the first Christmas that I can afford to drop a little money because I have two jobs now. I’m bursting with excitement trying not to tell her what I got her but I’m really nervous! I got her a satin robe because she’s obsessed with satin and only has had one robe for as long as I’ve known her; one of those little square keychain trackers so you can “call” your wallet or keys if they’re lost in the house, a must have for ADDers like us lol; a Spirograph set from back in the day, because she’s only recently gotten into art with me and I’m not sure she ever had something like that as a kid; some glitter gel pens to go with it; and these weird taco socks to top it off. What do you think? She’s silly and fun and I just really hope she likes it all.
I put a motion sensor led battery night light on each shelf. Comes on whenever safe opens, or I reach for something inside my safe. B

when I was a kid, we had a toy that was called a spirograph. https://www.amazon.com/Spirograph-01001-S-Deluxe-Design-Set/dp/B009VE38CI
few minutes with different colored pens on paper....
Buy the little fella a sweet new car and tell him to drive away in it, forever. Why is this even a question? Liars get dumped.
Yea there are some really great ones on amazon i have used. [link]
The solar ones are gimmicky and don't work well (reviews say 48 hours + of constant sunlight)
If you take these apart, they are just full of the same batteries used in Vapes. Obviously after a number of charge/discharge cycles, the batteries will stop holding a charge (just like any battery) so there are other options, like these: [link]
Where you can replace the batteries
I got this one years ago, and it just happens to work perfectly as a counterbalance, both on the stock headband and on my DAS:
I bought this one years ago, turns out it is an absolutely perfect counterweight to the Quest.
I bought this one years ago, turns out it's absolutely perfect as a counterweight as well.
Hey need help please!
I lost the nut and brushings attached to the kingpin of my longboard (must have been too loose) .
I called a few local skate shops and they said i need to find out the size and order online as they dont sell this stuff.
I have a 41 inch atom dropthrough longboard - https://www.amazon.com/Atom-Drop-Through-41-Inch/dp/B0056IY39K?th=1
If someone could let me know what size or any information that might help that would be greatful.
it was actually on sale black friday many years ago and i snagged it. still shrink wrapped.
Most capacity I’ve ever seen for the money. I have used this for 6 years
EC Technology 22400mAh Power Bank Ultra High Capacity External Battery 3 USB Output(5.5A) Powerbank Dual Input Port (4A) Portable Charger for iPhone, iPad, Samsung, Nexus and More, Black and Red [link]
Whether you get cut or uncut, the first 67 episodes were abridged to make 53 episodes. There's a broadcast version of those 53 episodes, and an uncensored version. You can read more about this in our FAQ. You really don't have to buy it in VHS; the Rock the Dragon set has what you want. It's just out of print and hard to find....but easier than finding that whole span of episodes in singles.
RIP my VHS collection which died in Hurricane Katrina. :(
This seems pretty expensive to me. I have a [22,400 mAh EC powerbank](www.amazon.com/dp/B00FDK2G2C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_d6I3zb4YKF9AW) for only $32.99. For $22 more(and thats if you get the promo code to work, $63.99/ more than twice as much, is ridiculous) all you get is an extra 4000 mAh, This RAVPower doesn't seem worth it in my eyes. I have had the EC powerbank for about a year. Lasts what feels like forever and charges my Switch faster than any of my games drain it. Definitely would recommend the EC powerbank over OP and save $22
1) changing your email setting. Set it to check your mail every so many minutes or hours instead of being on push notification where it's always sending out requests for email updates.
2) turning off "app can run in the background when not in use"
3) get use to carrying a portable battery. This was the option I chose. Kind of a pain but this portable battery lasts me days.
This is the one I use 22400mAh.
I don't know exactly how much it will go as I've never gotten it past about half. but it will keep a Samsung S8 and an iPhone 7 charged for three days.
*EDIT Damn when I got mine it only had one 2A input for charging. Now you can plug in 2x2A charging inputs.
I have this power bank which actually lets me charge and play splatoon, botw, etc. At the same time. I did get it on sale though, for $19, so there's that.
I've been using the EC Technology battery bank for the past year and a half. [link] I really can't say anything bad about it using it with my phone, and switch. On the 2.4A plug it even manages to charge my switch while playing Zelda. I did get it on sale for $18 with a coupon, though, and even though the reviews aren't necessarily the best, it's really been great for me.
Of course you are practically guaranteed to have a perfect device with the Anker, and great warranty, its price is what made me choose the EC Tech, on sale.
EC Technology 22400mAh Power Bank Ultra High Capacity External Battery 3 USB Output External Battery Pack With LED Flashlight Portable Charger for iPhone, iPad, Samsung, Nexus, HTC and More- Black & Red [link]
This relatively inexpensive power bank will charge my iPhone 5s entirely nine times
I have this EC 22400 mAh power bank.
It's been charging the system fine when it's in sleep mode or the power is off, but does not charge the battery while playing BotW, it simply slows down battery consumption due to a maximum of 2.4. It does hold about two full charges though.
I have this one. I got it on sale for $20 last summer on Amazon and I've only used it a little bit so far but it did charge the Switch while I was playing Zelda.
I'm looking to get started, I've tried it out a bit on a friend's spare board and want to buy a cheap board of my own, but preferably not one that I'll want to throw away after a couple of weeks. It'll be mostly for casual cruising. I've been looking at this or this.
Worth getting? Any other recommendations? Am I better off buying all my parts separately instead? Preferably not looking to spend more than £70 (~85$) and yeah I'm in the UK.
The other one that might give you issues is the avalanche run because it's got a current draw of 425mA. I've also read about how some people connect one of those portable phone chargers like this into the charging port and gotten a much longer battery life off of it, but I've never tried that myself.
I bought this about 2 years ago ($32 for 22400mAh), it works great for charging my phone, iPad, and 3DS on the go. It's a bit hefty in weight but it was really worth it for my trip to California when I was constantly out and about. It has the iPad port for 2.4A but I assume the Switch will draw less than that from the actual port since it uses USB-C.
Here is a link to a bestseller on amazon. The one I have makes larger snowballs...I think.
My daughter, 6, and I do the same thing before bed!
I would recommend the classic A-maze-ing Labyrinth game. Brilliant and fun for that age.
Also great to play with other adults and a few drinks! : )
You guys might enjoy Simon's Cat card game. It's an Uno variation with funny art.
I've been using my EC Tech power bank everyday for over 6 months now and it still charges slightly faster than the wall charger my Pixel came with.
We like Labyrinth. Not a lot of rules or reading, just a little strategy.
> Gain the advantage over the other players by inserting the extra tile to move walls and open passages of the Labyrinth.
> Learn cause and effect, planning, association, recognition, and taking turns
>Ages 8 and up
One of these, amazon prime video, and some headphones
So, I've been riding a skateboard around campus, just the one that I had from home, with Bones Swiss bearings. However, I've noticed that even with these bearings, I have to push a LOT (like about the same amount of time i spend not pushing. The wheels seem to spin fine on their own and whatnot but oh well. I've been seeing a lot of people riding around longboards (as opposed to skateboards) and was thinking they would go further without having to push. The campus i'm on is fairly flat, so I just need a cruiser. As I am a college student, I also happen to be a bit short on money so I can really only afford to spend about $150 or less. To that end, I've been looking at the Atom Dropthrough 41-inch. Two questions. First off, is there a better board I can get for around the same price? I really like the look of the dropthrough boards as opposed to the pintail and such. Also, will the bearings that come on the board be good enough to get around without having to push a lot, or should I get better ones (ie. Bones Reds)? Thanks for any help that comes my way!
They are kind of everywhere right now but this is my favorite, you can get it on amazon: [link]
I try to go for something a little more intricate that takes a little extra time. :)
i use this EC power charger and its ok. i've always wondered if it was really 20 MAH but if its not i still like it.
After having to charge my phone several times today, I was looking at this.
What are you using?
Do you have these in your store and would you recommend them? I'm looking for a 20k one and debating between this and anker's 20k.
To make a long story short, you just watched the Ocean dub of Dragon Ball Z. The first 67 episodes were done by Ocean. Funimation would later re-dub these episodes and they would be available on the uncut release of the show. You may have also heard that the score was a bit different, too.
During Dragon Ball Z's English broadcast run, FUNimation replaced Shunsuke Kikuchi's original Japanese score with Shuki Levi's edgier, electronic/guitar-driven soundtrack, inspired by his work on Power Rangers. When FUNimation switched to their in-house dub for episodes 068+, they hired Bruce Faulconer to replace Shuki Levi for the remainder of the series. In 2004, FUNimation went back to redub the Ocean Group's episodes, hiring Nathan Johnson to replace Levi. This redub, featuring Johnson (001-067) and Faulconer (068-291) is featured on all uncut DVD and Blu-ray sets, while the edited-for-TV Ocean dub can be found on the "Rock The Dragon" set.
Been using this one for a while now and couldn't be happier with it. Its one of the few out there that doesn't lie about the capacity rating. This video shows this power bank vs another popular option. [link]
Edit: Use the middle port. They are rated at 1amp, 2amp, and 2.4 amp. The tablet is rated at 2.1amp max!
Which board out of these two are better for a first board? I'll be mainly using these for cruising
10,000 mAh is a pretty good capacity. It's hard to actually find a battery with a 100,000 mAh capacity, and those that you can find are huge. This is one of the smallest true 20,000 mAh batteries on amazon and it's six inches long.
I actualy just purchased this portable charge. Heavy as hell, but will charge my phone on the better side of six times. Being 22, my mother still wants me to stay in contact with her etc etc plus I plan on using it as my only camera. Thanks for the heads up!
You should've used that money towards this external battery. Holds enough juice to charge an iPhone 6 at least 11+ times in comparison to the 1.75 times with the mini. $18.99 with code J29D3UMJ
Keep in mind that you're sacrificing portability, but if you're sporting a Camelbak then it won't really matter. Plus, if you're camping then it's also handy for those with you over the weekend that may need it. I personally have this external, but the one I link caught my eye on a deal site and thought I would share.
These two are the biggest ones I have, I enjoy them a lot. The first link is probably my favorite one. I would recommend it over the second one. But they are both pretty damn good in my opinion.
It looks like the Olympus TG-4 battery is only 1350mAh and it can be recharged via USB (directly in the camera).
If you get this battery pack: [link] at 22400mAh you could recharge at least a dozen times. Then recharge the pack whenever you have access to power or charge it with solar.
This EC Technology power bank is probably the best I've ever had. Good for more than 5+ charges, and you can have multiple devices hooked up to it at once.
I just bought one of these and it arrived in the mail today. It charges my Surface 3 just fine. Do a google search for a coupon code. I had one that took the price down to $18.99, but I can't find it again. It may not still be good, but it's worth a look. Price is great for what it is anyway.
So I have had this Atom Drop-through board for a while now, but I just recently learned to ride. And let me say, I am enjoying it, really getting into the whole thing. I want to upgrade it, but to be completely honest I do not know anything about what it came with or what even needs upgrading. For now lets say my budget is $50 Maximum. Everything I have on it is stock (wheels, bearings, trucks, etc). What is the best thing to upgrade for my money?
If it matters, I don't do any extreme sliding on it, I just enjoy speeding up and down on the hills in our area. Anything to increase speed honestly.
Also, where is the best (online) place/brand to buy A helmet? I know I need one. Also knee/elbow pads and gloves?
All help is appreciated!
Edit: And if I were to get a new board, what is the best for $200? I just want one to go fast up and down big hills. I also would like one a little shorter than the giant 41 inch. Maybe something that would be easy to learn to slide on???
I did not find replacement batteries. However, I'm going to be attempting some kludgery to get these packs to work for the jacket with the help of one of these. Take the 2.4A and the 2A input, wire them in parallel to the input of the booster, boost the voltage to 7.4v on the output side, and that should result in about 2.9A. If that's too much, I'll try the 2.4A and the 1A, which should be 2.29A.
I'll report back on if it works, or I let the smoke out (hopefully not the jacket's smoke).
I'm using a 22,400mAh powerbank now. Bought it off Amazon.
Now just waiting for a clear night. With this powerbank, I can set the Gopro up to record all night.
Save your money - get her something else.
Here is a recommendation - Spirograph
You would be amazed how much kids (boys and girls) like this toy.
Tried an external battery instead?
Used this while traveling internationally. Worked great, and no need to buy different batteries when you get a new phone.
>I knew about the history of the dedubbing of the first two, so I'll just have to deal.
Well, you don't have to. You can pick up the entirety of the old Ocean Group dub via the Rock the Dragon set, which features Shuki Levi's replacement score. Of course, this is an edited-for-TV release and only includes the English dub.
Right! I just found this one the other day, someone had gifted it to me a long time ago but I put it in a box of art supplies that I recently found, and was like WOAH! It's so gorgeous I don't even want to color in it!
Does she like to colour? Can she do that with one good arm? She may feel too old for regular colouring books but there are a bunch out there that are made for older folks like this that have a lot of detail. One of those plus a fresh set of nice markers might kill some time here and there.
Those ARE pricey! Amazon has them for less: [link]
You can find them on amazon, book depository etc. This is the one I have: [link] and because they deliver it...no-one needs to know (I'm looking at you Spiffy-Tiffy!) but if you type in "adult colouring books" there are lots of them out there.
I recently bought an Atom Dropthrough board for a really close friend as we both graduated recently.
I taught her the basics of longboarding and she made great progress within the day. Then the next morning I get a text from her showing that the front end has been chipped as she pushed her boundaries and went too fast and the front of the board hit the curb. I was going to simply use a strong glue/adhesive to put the piece back together.
Have you checked out the female fashion advice subreddit? That helps me with clothes!
Check out David's tea for unique teas! I love them :D
I have This coloring book and I love it
I haven't gone through the transfer process, but one thing I've been doing to stay busy is coloring. Now, that might sounds a little strange and childlike, but I was looking for a gift for a friend with a recent cancer diagnosis and I was in this great little paper store and I came across this coloring book. I was walking around with it and, no joke, had 7 women come up to me and tell me how much they loved it. 7! In about 10 minutes. So I ended up getting one for myself too, and I love it. I guess it's immensely popular. Here's an Amazon link: [link]
I also second binge watching Netflix or something similar. If you have Amazon Prime, they've acquired HBO's catalog, so you could do some serious binge watching. We watched the entire Wire over the holidays, and it was great.
We have a buyer's guide in our FAQ in the sidebar:
>* The Dragon Ball Z "Rock The Dragon" set [4:3 Native], which contains all 53 episodes of the original Ocean Group dub.
The Westwood dub, which continued from the Aritificial Human arc to the end of Dragon Ball Z was never released on DVD.
Agreed that Anker's are good, I have a 3,000 mAh one that I carry for emergencies.
If I know there will be a period of a few days where I may not have an outlet to charge from, this beast is great.
24,000 mAh and 3 usb ports with different max outputs (2.4A, 2A, and 1A) as well as a white LED light.
It's not terribly large for the capacity and the price is right.
I got one for me and one for my mom for Christmas.
I've been wanting to try some of these out lately to see if it'd help distract me when I get anxious. This one seemed pretty nice but I think the problem with some of these is worrying about markers bleeding though, so I guess I'd go with colored pencils.
I've got an Atom Drop Through with some Bones reds on it, how can I minimize downhill speed wobble while retaining its very good turning radius? People have mentioned harder bushings but I'm concerned about losing that turn radius.
Because of what /u/VegettoEx said, I'm not sure which dub you're referring to. But, both the "Ocean" dub and in-house FUNimation dub have a home release.
No worry. Is have russian solution.
Installed all over the house and removed as they were drawing significant phantom energy. It was very convenient though. Now have Mr. Beams in key locations (bathrooms/stairway).
There are tons of motion activated battery LED lights out there. This type would work if you don't want to bother with turning them on or off ever.
