Went all out with the conspiracy sideboard and even got tokens sleeved. Next step I think I'll get some cheaper full art lands and then think of how to upgrade it with WotS after it gets played a few times.
Definitely cost a bit more than the original target of $100. I think I spent around $200 in total for the cards, lands, and tokens. 95% of which I was able to get in under two weeks from CardSphere. I was almost instantly able to get everything I needed from there for 80% of the index prices. Tokens we're like 30%. Im sure I could have gone even lower if I wanted to wait a little longer. Definitely recommend checking them out.
This is my first real paper collection so I decided a cheap budgetish cube would be a good start to play with friends. I was going to try the Card Kingdom starter cube, but this one just seemed like it was well worth the extra money.
Edit: Case is a Quiver. Fits the 360 card cube, 15 card Conspiracy card sideboard, 80+ tokens, and 35 of each land with dividers almost perfectly. Really wanted to go with the Dex Protection Supreme Game Chest but I couldn't find any colors I liked. Im happy I didn't though. While it definitely looks a lot better, I absolutely love this case. Super easy to transport and the cards don't budge. I really don't have any complaints and it was a fraction of the cost.

Now I'm just waiting on my cubeamajigs to get here.
You can get a Quiver case. That's basically exactly what they're for.
I have 30 decks and have 28 of them in these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002TT3LG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ti4VDbEFPE63B
They hold a (depending on brand) double sleeved EDH deck. They're compact. You can lay the commander on top for easy identification. Best of all, they're $2.00 so buying 30 of them won't break the bank.
Boulders are my second choice for many of the same reasons above, but they're more expensive and less transparent.
I get the boxes on Amazon for $15 each and they are my preferred storage container for commons and uncommons. I looked at the dimensions and wanted to see how Planechase would fit in the box. Turns out it fits very nicely. I haven't sleeved the tokens yet. I am also going to get a dual flip box to store the planar cards for when I don't want to treat it as a board game.
EDIT: Chaos Reigns upside down was a mistake but I'm going to embrace it. Also the cardboard boxes were pretty beaten up and the planar cards have lots of scuffs on the edges. All in all I'm not impressed with the overall quality but I'll have fun with the new wrench in the gears of Magic games.
I love KMC Card Barrier Boxes. I've got one for my 600 card cube and it comfortably fits the whole thing + lands.
Right here! I thought about trying with my satin tower, but those are a bit more of a risk, if something goes wrong and I have several of these guys lying around because they were ~$2.50 for a while, so I was tacking them onto my Amazon orders to fill space. One thing to note - they aren't acrylic, so the laser kinda melts them rather than etching. (At least with the settings that we used, which were what the guy showing me how to use the cutter said he uses to etch acrylic.) It turned out kinda neat, though. If you look on the right side of the Rakdos logo in the second pic, you can kinda see the watery texture it left behind.
Quiver deck box holds 6 double sleeved commander decks. Source I own two one for my cube and one to hold my commander decks. A back pack for the rest of stuff. https://imgur.com/a/nOHtK22
Yep, here it is on Amazon. Lockable 36 Graded Sports Card Display Case, for Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey Comic Trading Cards (Horizontal-Black Finish) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0033RZCPK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-31zFbFP4J3AK
I meant is it better to use the soft sleeve plus top loader or the stiffer titan shield sleeve (https://www.amazon.ca/TitanShield-Standard-Protector-Gathering-Collection/dp/B072ZY1H1X) plus top loader?
r/pkmntcgtrades is the sub
I got this one on Amazon, here’s the link to the specific one but there’s a bunch of different ones on there.
I got these on Amazon. I leave them on when playing. I started playing without sleeves and was seeing excessive wear around the RFID. We also stopped doing traditional shuffling with them.

I like the 150 card Ultra pro boxes. Some call them the "Darksteel Plastic" boxes, since they're very durable. They are clear, so you can see your commander on top, and also pretty cheap compared to most options.
Be sure to get the 150 size, as 100 will not hold a fully sleeved commander deck comfortably. You can get them on Amazon as an add-on item, but I usually find them on Ebay.

I use the classic KMC perfect size inner sleeves that you can get for relatively cheap. They hold the card very snug, so they fit in most normal sleeves.
They're generally sold for about $5.99 for 100 sleeves, but I've gotten deals on Amazon for buying bulk.
Actually, I use the perfect size sleeves for a lot of single-sleeving, since they're so tight to the card and are completely translucent on both sides. All of my trade foils are inside them to prevent scratching, and to act as an inner sleeve in the binder page pockets.
So I run into this because many of my cards are shared between decks (Painter/Eldrazi/Red Prison all share cards, as do Maverick/D&T/Some of my Modern decks). Cards that aren't in use just stay in their inner sleeves (Perfect Hards for the foil Red/Chalice Deck stuff, Perfect Blacks for the rest) when not in use. This helps prevent uneven wear - if I keep the Eldrazi stuff sleeved in outer sleeves and just swap those cards in, it becomes marked, as those cards will have significantly less wear than the Red cards I use more often.
As for the actual storage mechanism, I just have multi-row boxes (like this one: https://www.amazon.com/BCW-Monster-Corrugated-Cardboard-Storage/dp/B000K41E7E) that I keep spare cards in for every format.
We have the thermal one and just use a bottle brush to clean it like this one OXO Good Grips Bottle Brush https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00004OCLJ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_8V06ZQYWP2TE9ZDQ9ERE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Hold it by the handle and scrub to your hearts content, takes about 10 seconds. When I start to see discoloration, I'll toss in some cafiza, fill it with water, and let it sit for ten minutes before scrubbing it, comes out good as new.
Quiver box from the image above https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00XYC3MNI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_W4AD0CCZNWNHX0R69E51?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Arkham wood box, which should fit also good. https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08GS2SMF6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_VE2XZF1303V7P79C8S3S
Note that that I point the quiver divider upwards to use them as a spacer for the lit, so it don't squish the bigger cards. The wood crate has more space to the top, but is missing a lit. Also two woodcrates would be needed.
My favorite are TitanShield. They're clear but have matte backs which help prevent slipping/sliding of cards.
I just ordered two of these - Pro UV Graded Sports Card Display Case for Football Baseball Basketball Hockey Comic Trading Cards Horizontal-Black Finish https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0033RZCPK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_MRPBM2B3XMT3E5H3JPS1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
There are others, but something like this!
KMC 100 Pochettes Card Barrier Perfect Size Soft Sleeves, 3 Pack/Total 300 Pochettes [Komainu-Dou Original Package], Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NU5F7U0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_7ASYZH1YD6T3X3SF1BVG
This is the box I use. I got one of these at Kmart something like ten years ago. I have another that's much larger that I got at the same place, but haven't managed to find a replacement.
Put your cards in these , and then put them into these bad boys. The double protection is key to prevent edge damage
thanks!
~~i don't have a link, unfortunately. i'm sure u can find them on ebay or something!~~
completely misread ur response. they're the battle styles etb sleeves! i also got these perfect fit sleeves on amazon!
Hey, I'm not sure whether this is a serious post or not, but rubber bands are a very bad way to store cards. (Although a quick Google search for "lobster claw bands" will find you what you're looking for.)
I recommend instead using card storage boxes like this one (and available in a ton of different sizes) that can store hundreds or thousands of cards without bending or damaging them.
If you're interested, I can also help you make sure individual cards and small sets are properly protected, but given your question, it sounds like you're more interested in making sure your full collection stays together instead.
No prob. Lockable 36 Graded Sports Card Display Case, for Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey Comic Trading Cards (Horizontal-Black Finish) -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0033RZCPK/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_fabc_ZMB7RKMQVT3YFD7TPXXH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
That’s a lot of questions. I can’t help you much on the flipping part, but I can help on the storage. I put my good cards in a penny sleeve and top loader. Then I put them in a 4 row storage box (link below). I find it to be the easiest way to organize and keep track of everything.
I tend to use the large 5,000 count boxes:

But they are boring, but when you amass a large collection storage becomes increasingly cumbersome. I have over 100,000 cards now.
I usually carry a [Quiver] or 2 with me to our playgroup. They perfectly fit 4 Ultimate Guard Sidewinder 100+ each and I can use them in addition to my backpack.
Amazon is basically my go-to for almost everything.
If you want dirt cheap then go for these. My problem with them is that they are HORRIBLE for shuffling unless if they get worn out a bit.
My current go-to's are these. Roughly about 500% more expensive than the ones above, but I have absolutely 0 complaints with them. They are solid, have a back and they shuffle very well out of the bag.
