I bought this off amazon and it’s worked well for me. Good grip and bounce. Haven’t used it daily or continuously for very long periods of time so can’t say much on durability 🤷♂️

I have been using compression sleeve kneepads that are actually designed for sports similar to these. You can get nicer quality on Amazon, but I paid $4 + shipping for cheap ones off Wish, and at that price I can buy a bunch to switch out through the week, takes longer to ship though.
I can wear them comfortably all day under my pants, and they stay put and I barely notice them. They're not quite as heavy duty but I wouldn't install floors anymore without them.
I have the McDavid ones. So far so good, they're fairly comfortable but I cant comment on longevity as I've only been using them for a few weeks. I popped my knee cap and it's enough padding to for rolling. On sale right now at Amazon, grab em!

I would like to buy one of those mini basketball hoops that you hang over your door and build a stand for it. Make it look like a regular size hoop, maybe 4 ft or so above the ground. So basically take this and build a stand for it so it looks like this (just a smaller version). Any tips on how to do this?
Which ones do you think? I normally play on actual courts, but I also want something that is ok to be played outdoors.
Thanks
What about the official ball?

Is that even worth it?
Too much. That's a Stern ball which might be why the cost is a bit inflated (Silver is on the new ones). Usually an official NBA game-ball is ~$100.
Once broken in, an NBA game-ball is hands-down the best ball to hoop with, but, and this is an important point, it takes a lot of time to break in a game-ball (weeks of daily use) and it must be done in a pristine setting.
Pristine setting = squeaky clean indoor gym. No exceptions.
The slightest bit of dust/dirt/grime will ruin the leather, especially once it starts loosening up and getting worked in.
But boy oh boy, if you do it right (or are lucky enough to actually have used real game balls), there's no other basketball like it. Silky smooth but incredibly tacky (with a little bit of moisture). The sound it makes on a perfect swish is unmatched. Best of the best, obviously.
That being said, like many others have mentioned, there are better more realistic options out there.
Dude I love you a little right now. I'm doing this thing which gets me Aamazon.com gift cards. I spent a good 3 hours looking for things that will ship to me (Mississauga) from the .com website. I found nothing.
You just killed two birds with one stone for me. Awesome sauce.
This is an awesome ball.
great for indoor or outdoor. Holds air well and it has very good grip to help with shooting and dribbling.
