Short Comic BIN - Plastic - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077PPFN35/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_sp8.Fb88609SG
This is the one I got, get that and some nice archival sleeves w/ boards and you’re all set.
I do believe this one is modular and stacks well with similar containers, but I have a somewhat small individual comic collection and only have need for one at this time.
I like it a lot so far! It fits all my single issues and most of my mainline DC/Marvel graphic novels.
Old cars waiting for something get tossed in a shoebox. Once completed they live on a shelf.
I have a Really Useful Box that keeps my dice, book and templates handy, with a tray insert. When transporting the cars they fit in the tray and get cushioned with a bit of paper towel.
Box - Amazon link, they can be found cheaper elsewhere.
Tray insert - Amazon link, again they can be found cheaper elsewhere.
I hear ya. Unfortunately without dropping some real coin cardboard boxes are the best.

I have one of these and they’re great but the cost is hard to justify.
Or if you’re looking for a more elegant but permanent type storage, The Classy Collector on Instagram makes amazing comic storage. https://instagram.com/the_classycollector?utm_source=ig_profile_share&igshid=wrja04ardbg2
He makes quality stuff. I have 2 of his wall storage frames.
I have a file box (one of these cardboard types) that everything house related goes in. Individual folders inside for appliance manuals, receipts, and most everything else goes in "Misc".
It's really the bare minimum any homeowner should be doing. an active maintenance schedule is like super adult stuff that everyone should do, but nobody does.
BCW also makes a plastic box that's a little more expensive but more rigid. https://www.amazon.com/Short-Comic-BIN-Plastic-Black/dp/B077PPFN35/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=3R73A9GSYTPQD&keywords=comic+book+storage&qid=1668647639&sprefix=comic+%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-4
BCW also makes a plastic storage box. I've been considering making the upgrade myself. https://www.amazon.com/Short-Comic-BIN-Plastic-Black/dp/B077PPFN35/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=3R73A9GSYTPQD&keywords=comic+book+storage&qid=1668647639&sprefix=comic+%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-4
Just to put this to the top because this is what I do too.

These A4 paper boxes are great for troops, for large creatures ir tanks you'll need something bigger.
How far are you moving?
If you're just moving from one part of town to the other, you should be fine to just throw them into a box or milk crate with some bubble wrap/other padding around them so they don't move too much.
If you're moving cross country, I highly recommend these for moving and storage. At $10/box they're pretty expensive, but I just moved from New York to California with them and all of my stuff arrived pristine. I was a bit worried when I saw one of my moving guys carrying a box one-handed/sideways (despite the boxes clearly being marked fragile/"this side up"), but when I unloaded everything was in perfect shape.
One or two of these:
Some sheet metal to glue/rivet to it, and some neodymium magnets to glue to the bottom of your models.
I bought these and they fit with some room to spare. I read that they will fit with the tuck boxes but I haven’t had a chance to print them out yet.

I got these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QJM0DG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
They're a bit pricey, but they're food grade, small enough to fit in a small shelving unit, and easy to work with.
If you're bringing the pops with you, have them in protective cases ahead of time. If you're buying pops, have protective cases to put them in ahead of time.
I'm not in to pops, but the few I have I keep in the popshield armor cases from 7bucksapop, because I've found the quality of the official pop protectors to be pretty trash.
For other items, if you have an idea of what you want to buy, have something to put them in for protection if possible. I know I tend to buy comics or other items around that size, so I keep some document storage boxes in my bag like this (but I get them from Daiso so they aren't some stupid price) to put stuff in to keep them protected.
Also in general, I would rather just dump stuff off in the car throughout the day instead of having to carry stuff around for extended periods of time.

These are the bee's knees.
That's your best option. I used this one: https://www.amazon.com/BCW-Supplies-Stor-Folio-Comic-Comics/dp/B002AT8QKU/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=LUGH1BJ9HBUA&keywords=comic+stor-folio&qid=1652609867&sprefix=comic+stor%2Caps%2C87&sr=8-3 Sturdy and keeps them nice and flat. Just don't be that guywalking around with your books in a Samsonite luggage rolling suitcase 😆
I use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B096TSPDML for the card cases. They're great for a single sleeved 20-card deck. They also -barely- fit a sleeved 20 + an unsleeved extra 20 in the case where I have dupes (or tokens)
I recently moved a record collection about that size, went with these boxes. They all held up perfectly. I had the moving company move and store them, none broke down or were damaged. The only issue is that I didn't trust for the movers to lose the lids as they just sit on top, so I taped the lids and it all worked out.

Most people got the black box for the Dim. I bought these for something else and i had an extra so my Dims that don’t fit in the black box go in here for now.

These were the card cases. They fit nicely in the individual cases along with the mover, guide, and other random pieces (locks, puppies, etc)card cases
this is what i use. I bought these and there is enough room to add a couple more expansions. I can either stand them up or lay them down. It is not the best but it works for my purposes. The cases can’t fit with sleeves in it but the extra accessories can fit (like pete’s goals) with the decks.

No need for one with dividers with the metal sheet at the bottom. I do something similar to the above poster and I like using this style of box as they stack really nicely.
I got a 'really useful box' they make them in different sizes but that one fit in my drawer
then I got one of these trays to go inside of it, they also come in different sizes so just pick one that fits inside the useful box, I got a 8 inch one I think and theres room on the side of the box to fit cables and other random stuff
It is not a briefcase but this is what i use. I bought these and there is enough room to add a couple more expansions. I can either stand them up or lay them down. It is not the best but it works for my purposes.

Stacking boxes, thin ones for small projects and deep ones for bigger. They fit on the cube shelves in my living room and craft room, so I keep whatever I'm working on by the sofa and have everything else ready to pull out.
I switched to this from project bags and have never been happier
These are the ones I use Sterilite 19638606 Large Clip Box, Clear with Blue Aquarium Latches, 6-Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004QJGW6C/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_ECPRF1QDTSYYVE4GGTRW
All of my paper documents (handouts, house rules/homebrew rules, cheat sheets) are stored in three ring binders or manilla folders. All of my dice are stored in dice bags I purchased from a local knitter. Everything else (battle maps, minis, larger props) are stored in plastic clip boxes (like this one). The boxes are stackable and fairly easy to store on shelves, under furniture, and in closets or nooks.
I ended up getting these: Sterilite 19638606 Large Clip Box, Clear with Blue Aquarium Latches, 6-Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004QJGW6C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_EFJA3RMZF8CZV9BH3TV2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They’re big enough to hold full sheets that I have and thin so there’s no wasted space. I don’t have a lot of room in my house to store things so these worked out really well. Plus having them be thinner stops me from putting too much in and dropping them. Thanks for the suggestions!
