Well, I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JCT383W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's a pull-up that you can use on a tree/pole (as well as install indoors). There's a $200 version by another company that's better in quality, but this one is the one I bought. Reviews say it wobbles a bit, but works.
Maybe. If you have rafters, you can install one of these like I did: https://www.amazon.com/Joist-Mounted-Pull-Up-Bar/dp/B01NBZO3QY/ref=sr_1_178?dchild=1&keywords=pull+up+bar&qid=1611890574&sr=8-178
Anyone want to convince me this pull up bar is a bad idea? It's 40 bucks after the coupon. No reviews--I assume the door will need to be open while I use it, but I don't plan to do anything fancy--just old school pull ups and chin ups.
If you have a doorway you could look into a pull-up bar that wraps under the doorway. We got one with a P90x bundle many years ago, similar to this that has been great for body-weight at least. I now have a short rack that I use for weighted pull-ups but we still have the pull-up bar in place to jump on as we pass it. https://www.amazon.com/Yes4All-Doorway-Enhance-Upper-Strength/dp/B019H3EDU8/
The 5 gallon buckets seems like a great idea -- farmers carries are awesome. You may want to just look into the movements you can do with the dumbbells as well -- if you have a heavy one, Turkish getups are good.
If possible I would always recommend one that screws into the doorframe because you known it's going nowhere. But I'm back at my parents just now so using this style. The foam padding leaves no marks on the front of the door frame (where most of the force goes when using it) and the top is fine too.
There's also this style, but that would give me the fear. Pretty sure every fail video of one giving way is this kind.
The first one has the added benefit of having extra bars for neutral grip pull ups and using it on the ground for pushup variations and reverse/bench dips (won't get the full range of motion with being so low but every little helps).
I would recommend: https://www.amazon.com/doorway-Multifunctional-Portable-Chin-Up-exercise/dp/B087ZWXM8N/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=2LP5L3DRV1YLE&dchild=1&keywords=pull+up+bar&qid=1610129400&sprefix=pull+up+bar%2Caps%2C197&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A3GVDNZEW33OT4&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyVUlBU0lQWUNURlBLJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwOTE4MDM4MjFSUzZJRFBGTklFQyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjE0MDk3TlRKMldYMjVZTjRXJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==. I think rather than just thinking about it as a bar with minimal parts, it can also be a bar which can be easily disassembled to take up less space and also be used for other exercises (which this can be) and the price point is rather reasonable I reckon. Been using it for a few months without issue (other than some black rub off on the area above the doorframe where it sits).
They actually make chin-up bars that hang off the door trim. I had one for a couple of years, door trim stayed put; and I weigh considerably more than a cat.
(They’re kind of terrifying, because if you’re too weak to do a pull-up properly and swing your feet too far forward, the bar can come off and fall on top of you; but even that didn’t take off the trim.)

No need to apologise, happy to help where I can. This video has some useful information with regards to exercising at home, there are rows in there somewhere. I can definitely recommend getting a door pull up bar though, they're super useful.
