Agreed, I’ve seen people get tased and this is not like that. Your arms would flex not extend. I’m pretty sure those are just flash lights.

Edit: they are real but I’m still not convinced.

I highly recommend a stun gun flashlight. They come in bunch of different colors. If you get one, make sure you practice how to weaponize it to protect yourself. If the shock noise is loud, all the better to scare off any potential attackers. Make sure you use the wrist strap so it doesn't fall. I'll walk home with it armed and in my hand.

I mean obviously, double check what your local laws are about carrying stun guns, but I'd rather deal with a weapons charge for defending myself than to be attacked or dead.

Otherwise, scream, be vocal. Say “don’t touch me”, “why are you raping me?” Really confront an assaulter with what they are doing. Most of these people don’t consider their actions assault. If you force them to know what they are doing, they often run away because they psychologically are telling themselves you actually want their attention.

Don’t try to make excuses, confront them with a very direct accusation. These people are usually cowards hoping to catch women who are too scared to fight back.

There are many, many steps between "the cops aren't doing anything" and "i am going to kill this person," but I can't argue with the sentiment.

I'm all for advocating pepper spraying or zapping someone way quicker than the alternative.

To me they dont feel much different. I have the same one that appears in most of these videos. I can hold it to my arm and hold it while its going off, really dosnt hurt that bad. Get one, they're pretty fun to mess with and scare your friends. Just don't think its gonna save you from getting mugged/jumped lol.

It's nothing close to the real taser, tryed it on myself, only affects certain limb that's being shocked, burns too when it not touching the body part.

I’ve had it for 6ish years now and granted I haven’t ever thankfully had to spark it more than a few seconds, it keeps battery for a long time, and generally feels pretty sturdy.. and it comes with a belt holster so I feel safe wearing it like it won’t just accidentally discharge on me while driving 😅

The tweezer was hooked up to an arduino. The arduino was hooked up to a relay that would "press the button" on the taser whenever the tweezer touched the metal brims.

I'm not sure, I feel our neighborhood gets a little dark. I stay on the streets at dusk rather than trails but I do feel safer carrying this.

This is the one I use, rechargeable flashlight is actually very powerful and the zap zap is great for dogs or scaring away thugs

Since so many people asked it’s this it’s a pretty powerful rechargeable flashlight I use a lot to find house or apt numbers and then the zap zap end built in for whatever you might need it for. Love the rechargeable flashlight part though and it comes with a belt holder.

There's a section in my video where I explain how to wire it into a relay if you want to look at that but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out if you'd rather do it yourself.

This is a tazer. It's legal to carry in some of the states where it's openly illegal to be a woman. He touches you, you engage the button and touch him with the tazer. He gets a quite painful reminder to keep his gods forsaken hands to his unwelcome, shabby, brazenly criminal self before any police get involved.

Besides the good advice above to report to the driver, the police, etc., you are allowed to reinforce your 'no' with non-lethal force in many places.

Already carry Sabre red and this, plus a 4" fixed blade knife and a 2" fixed blade knife.

Problem is I know what to do with them. I want the threat neutralized but I hope it doesn't come to anything physical.

Carry a taser OP. You just never know, and it’s better to be safe then sorry. I recommend Vipertek, it’s very strong and easy to use, but I’d recommend watching some tutorials on YouTube, just to be sure you’re using it right (that’s what I did) NTA

I don’t know what it looked like exactly as it was suddenly pulled out of nowhere and thrusted towards my face. I was able to react and pull back.

For obvious reasons I hated her after this whole ordeal. I haven’t seen her for years and I am doing fine. I just have a lot of bad -and extremely toxic- relationships. Foam style, less messy and takes longer for the delicious pain they’re in to subside. That’s my left hand, in my right is my Vipertech stun gun, he gets that in the neck while clawing at his face. He thought he was in real pain prior to to that, he quickly feels just how mistaken he was. You got two hands, might as well use them, double the pain double the fun. For $20 why not right? Get a stun gun. I have a few small ones from ViperTek. They plug into a wall socket and a lot of them also have an LED flashlight, which comes in handy. The cool thing is that when you hit the push button, you get a very loud crack and visible bolt of electric charge.
