You can do it that way. Looks like it fits. I use a UGREEN 65W 4-port charger for my Deck, Switch, iPad Air 5 and iPhone 13 Pro Max, along with anything else needing to be charged while traveling. The adapter that ships with the Deck... it's official to Valve, but has none of their branding on it. My guess, they grabbed the best/cheapest one they could get.
I got this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PNTDKNR
And this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085YD7FMS
With those 2, I can charge my Pro6 without problems. I got this particular charging hub because I wanted to sustain the required 45w with all ports in use. You are looking to match the charging stats of the stock surface cable (that is 45w, 15V @ 3A) and it should work.
I also got an Anker 2 port 60w charger and that works as well. Anker got pulled from Amazon though so I can't link that one.
this one its great, designed really with the SP line mind. 98wH
It’s a little hard to tell from the angle of your photo but this looks totally fixable. The piece that broke (called a “duckhead”) actually slides out. It was made that way so the duckhead could be swapped for traveling internationally (https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD837AM/A/apple-world-travel-adapter-kit). If I’m seeing the damage in the photo correctly, just slide the residual piece of the duckhead still attached to the charger brick and replace with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Duckhead-Charger-Standard-MacBook/dp/B0723DLG1D
If you’re not sure how to remove the duckhead I’m sure there’s a youtube video demonstrating exactly how to do it.
Hope this helps 😎

Here is the same unit on amazon in case you have prefer it to ebay. https://www.amazon.com/Tablet-Ac-Adapter-Google-Nexus-Transformer-BlackBerry-Phone-Power-Cord/dp/B00IJKG9R6 admittedly it is .09 cents more.
Different emulators utilize the Pi's components differently. It is possible that the PSX games load certain components that are not affected by under-voltage, but SNES games put stress on parts of the Pi that are affected by under-voltage.
Troubleshooting this is a waste of time. I echo everyone else's suggestions: Power the board properly. I suggest getting the PWR+ 3.5A Power Supply from Amazon.
Here’s the link for it.

This charging block has been a game changer for me. It can charge my phone, Apple Watch, and computer all at the same time. Also nice for smaller charging for travel bags.
USB A will not support 45w charging that the deck requires.
Your best bet is to get a charging brick that has both a USB A port and a USB C port. This way you only have one charging brick, and two separate cables for your charger needs while on the go.

Oh yeah, of course I wasn't even considering using the usb-a I know that thing is weak!
But everything else I said is correct? Because this thread suggestes otherwise.
And if you scroll down on the Amazon product page you will see a warning about the low charging error but claiming it still charges fine anyway.
I would get this one instead. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-Compact-Foldable-MacBook/dp/B09C5RG6KV Same wattage, but a little less long but chubbier and that will help it not fall out of wall sockets. Has a coupon for $14 off bringing it down to $46 compared to $33 for JSAUX charger.
I like the Anker 735 it has both USB A and C, 65W
no. I use a third-party charger, one of those GaN multiple charger with 60W output from Amazon, and it always keep the laptop at 100%. You can use 30W-100W charger without any issue.
UGREEN 100W USB C Charger, Nexode 4 Ports GaN PD Fast Wall Charger Power Adapter Compatible with MacBook, iPad, iPhone 14/14 Plus/14 Pro/14 Pro Max/13/12 Series, Galaxy S22/S21, Steam Deck and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091Z6JNX4/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_KZ159JW8G2FAJ4PXX6P7
This is what I'd plug it into
Just wanted to say I appreciate you updating the thread Joshua.
Also the 735 deal has come back at least for Sunday 11/27: Anker 735 on Amazon.
Thank you. I'm actually eyeing this one in order to be able to charge a laptop/tablet at the same time... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09C5RG6KV

Great to hear it's been going great 😀
This is the move. Got the Anker 735 Charger GaNPrime 65W and it works great! Futureproof yo self!
Heat isn’t that big of a deal, they could get around that fairly easy by putting it away from the other heat producing components and giving it a passive vent out the bottom, most power bricks don’t even have a vent anyway.. The real reason is weight and size. The point of a laptop is to be small, light, and used away from a charger. It doesn’t make much since to add the weight and size back into the laptop just for when you’re not using it as a laptop. You can get laptop chargers that are pretty small and efficient (not too hot) nowadays. However, due to the nature of a transformer using iron and copper, they are still kinda heavy. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-Compact-Foldable-MacBook/dp/B09C5RG6KV/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=Q563DGPUMNN1&keywords=anker+laptop+charger&qid=1667614141&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjY5IiwicXNhIjoiNC4yNCIsInFzcCI6IjMuNjQifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=...
I'd recommend something like this.
Anker makes great products, and this charger charges my devices faster than the factory chargers.
Thanks that write up helps a lot! Yeah, unfortunately, I'll need something that is 1 charger and 3 cables. But I do actually really like your set up and am tempted to maybe also get that, at least for my Mac. It would prevent me having to carry it when just moving between home and a cafe (locally only).
That makes me wonder though....does your set up have any benefit technically over (something like this other than being way smaller and more minimal?](https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-Compact-Foldable-MacBook/dp/B09C5RG6KV/ref=sr_1_16?crid=3MDOG8R97I4WS&keywords=anker+usb+c+a&qid=1665530042&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIyLjY4IiwicXNhIjoiMi40MSIsInFzcCI6IjEuNTUifQ%3D%3D&smid=A294P4X9EWVXLJ&am...)
This might be an Anker equilavent on sale. Thoughts on this?
None of the MFi brands (Belkin, Mophie) have a travel charger with fast charging for the Series 7 and above, as of yet. The Duo also has the slow charger.
Your best bet is going to get something like the Anker 735 and taking your Phone and Watch charger cables with you.
Fair. Go for any usb-c charger then. Would really clean up your power situation. This is what I use (other than the power to my MPB through my usbc monitor)

The SlimQ is a GaN charger that's little larger than most 100W models out there. However, if you insist on something that small, this UGreen is one I've used daily for over a year.
You get what you pay for. I've used this one daily for over a year with no issues whatsoever.
Definitely not normal. If it’s new Apple should warranty-replace the thing. If it’s beyond warranty I’d go to Amazon and get an Anker converter of the appropriate Wattage - see below. Unless it uses the old MagSafe with a cable that doesn’t disconnect in which case you’re totally buggered and will have to buy an Apple replacement.
Anker 735: amazon.com/gp/product/B09C5RG6KV/
Cable: amazon.com/gp/product/B082SD28S4/ (might be some better ones out there, but this hasn't had any issues for me).
If you’re asking for an alternative product, I bought this and I love it. I no longer need the USB-A port since this has 3 C ports. Alternative
