She's From this book! And the Anime re:Zero Ex, Vol. 1 Re:ZERO Ex light novel! This volume was written after the anime and its very, very good in my opinion, Its basically standalone, And its pretty tact with Ferris as a character, ~~And its the one where she's revealed to be trans~~
Can you get a kindle? I have all 6 books on my kindle, the new models are shit but if you can get your hands on a paperwhite it uses magnets n' shit to create a screen that resembles actual paper and can be read in the sunlight, unlike the LCD screen on the nook and modern kindle.(as a drawback it can only display black and white)
But, if you can find a 3rd generation paperwhite, you can get the books on your Kindle and go ham. If you'd like an actual book, then amazon ships to Indonesia though the shipping may cost more than the actual book.
I've found it very difficult to find stories with a female protagonist and a solid magic system.
A few ideas:
- Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson has multiple main characters, but the central protagonist who is learning the magic system, Vin, is female.
- Worm by Wildbow is a great example if you're interested in more of a superhero/supervillain setting. This is a web serial and available for free online.
- **So I'm a Spider, So What?! is about a female student reincarnated as a spider monster in a RPG-like universe.
- Someone mentioned my own books. They do generally fit the "weak to strong" part and involve detailed magic, especially Sufficiently Advanced Magic, but you should note that the protagonist of that story is male. His sister is learning along with him, but she's not the viewpoint character.
Kizumonogatari's the only one in English so far. It's really easy to order off Amazon or pick up at Barnes & Nobel
It's a light novel spin off so i'm not sure you'll be able to read it online but I was able to get it off amazon
Not sure if it counts, but I’m reading Re:Zero: Starting Life in Another World, Vol. 1 (an amazing Japanese Light Novel).
Here’s a the synopsis:
Subaru Natsuki was just trying to get to the convenience store but wound up summoned to another world. He encounters the usual things--life-threatening situations, silver haired beauties, cat fairies--you know, normal stuff. All that would be bad enough, but he's also gained the most inconvenient magical ability of all--time travel, but he's got to die to use it. How do you repay someone who saved your life when all you can do is die?
Manga is only at the Os Fjord still so a good 10-15 chapters to catch up IMO.
LN is translated to english in November, start ordering on amazon, chapters, or whatever place to buy books and it will support the author. You could always order overseas but the shipping will cost you an arm and a leg so might as well wait for stuff to reach your country.

You can get them on Amazon by like 2019 when translations catch up... If we buy enough books season 2 should be out before the official novels catch up.
Search this url on the internet wayback machine. There's also an older PDF version on readfag's wordpress. Those are both variations of Baka-Tsuki's translations though. From what I hear Vertical's official translation is superior.
If it even exists, I don't know where one could acquire a digital download of Vertical's official translation. You can find the official paperback and audio book on Amazon and the audio book is possible to find online if you know where to look.

They have been released in English and you can buy them on Amazon.
Also I quickly wanted to clarify that I just wanted to say that the novels themself never said anything about negating Kyoka but Kyoka probably does probably fall in line with the Reiatsu negation thing that Aizen himself said exist but the diffrence probably has to be huge or it is a exception to the rule because even Soul King Yhwach fell under Kyokas Hypnosis so it can't be negated by people who are in any way relative to each other.

They’re mostly the same story, but some things are expanded on or changed, and some things happen in a different order since the anime adapted everything in chronological order while some of the side stories in the books were written later.
You don't have to buy the whole series. Try the first book. That will give you an idea of how much content was skipped.
If you are still hesitant, you can try the first couple of chapters of the LN for free here. That will give you an idea of how much is cut down.
All of Kumoko's (spider girl) monologuing, her planning, her fights, her skills, and on. In other words, a lot of her characterization, as well as foreshadowing for future events. They also cut out a lot of the human side of the story. It was always a side thing, but it's even more so in the anime. They also cut out a lot of talk about how skills work, which is important. For example, the "Ruler" skills have mental effects, which is part of the reason for Kumoko's behavior changing partway through the story.

Something like the SAO Platinum Collector's Edition would be sweet af. Maybe one for arcs 1-6 then another for 7-11 once it's all said and done.
