Teeth whitening is done by yourself or your dentist. It's rare to have it done by your dentist unless you need it immediately for some reason, it's expensive ($1K mark) because they need to make a custom mold to protect your gums and will take a couple of hours. Otherwise you can do it gradually with Opalescence Go which dentists sell and is the same solution used above just less intense.
But really, the main way to get your teeth whiter and keep your teeth white is to brush and floss (flossing is incredibly important) regularly and have regular 6 month cleanings at your dentist.
Marcus is a beautiful man, inside and out. I'm seeing some hateful judgments here and I don't agree with them. That being said, teeth whitening has some a long way. My teeth were Marcus shade recently, partially because I used to be a smoker. I'm also a big coffee drinker! However, my dentist offered to whiten my teeth but the cost was like 500 bucks. I found the same product but without the expensive custom molds on Amazon. It's called opalescence go. My fiance and I did them together before our engagement photos and it really helped a lot. It's one of the cheapest and easiest ways to improve your appearance because you only have to use it for like ten days and then one day every few months. Much easier than wearing nice clothes, diet and exercise, and salon haircuts.

I HIGHLY recommend just grabbing this with Amazon Prime shipping.
For the time span you're working with, I say do it every single day week 1 for no more than 10-15 minutes. Week 2, every other day (or about 4 sessions) working up from 15-30 minutes or if you can take it, the full 45 minutes.
WhiteFoam On-the-Go Clear Retainer Cleaner for Invisalign, Dentures, ClearCorrect, Essix, Vivera & Hawley Trays/Aligners. Cleans, Kills Bacteria, Whitens Teeth & Fights Bad Breath (50ml - 1 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BRNCC8W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_RF0EBGJSBHM5QBDS8XYM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 this is my favorite. It whitens teeth and cleans the trays. My trays have been spotless!!
Oops I forgot what it was called! It’s called WhiteFoam There’s other brands too. I make my own by mixing 3/4 hydrogen peroxide with 1/4 mouthwash in a foam sprayer.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AEBV0HW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WWSExbY18SGT4 - here's one off Amazon that's under $20.00.
I think that if you get your teeth whitened and ask for some advice on a skincare subreddit (your skin isn't bad at all, I just think you've got a great starting point) you could really have something pretty special going on. You are not traditionally handsome at all but your facial features are so strong that I think it's quite a striking look.
I also agree with the other guys here - your hair is good. I would definitely try the short sides and back (undercut). If you doesn't work then it should only take a few months to grow out.
I had used the crest white strips in the past but a dentist gave me a sample of these to try and I fell in love with them! I found the same ones on amazon for much less than the dentist. They cover all your teeth rather than just the front ones like white strips. They are much more comfortable and effective! Opalescence Go 15% https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ER5NN3K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_47ANCbBM49QXW
I’ve used the foam cleaner for invisalign, those work great in slowly brightening your smile.
I've had great results with the teeth whitening gels- specifically Poladay and Opalescence. You can buy them on amazon but I get them directly from my dentist. The initial investment is higher than with the strips but the product last quite a while and they work better. If you don't want to have trays made, you can buy these.
White strips for whitening your teeth — not Qtips.
These ones are $45 on amazon Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips Whitening Strips Kit, 22 Treatments, 20 Professional Effects + 2 1 Hour Express Whitestrips https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AHAWWO0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_9MkvBb9Z7W71V
Not OP, but thanks for the rec and thorough answer; I didn't know they have them available with a higher percentage of bleach at dentists' offices! To anyone who's interested, Amazon has a $5 off coupon for these at the moment
These Colgate Whitening Strips are known to work well.
In short I was told I need to brush better - which of course was obvious...
But some tips they told me was to
Cocofloss has been the best floss I’ve ever used and really worth the extra $$ in my opinion. I find their website has better flavors than Amazon. And for someone with sensitive teeth, I also really like Opalescence Go for whitening and will sometimes get the 35% gel from my dentist to put in my retainers. She said any in office whitening is actually really gimmicky and this way I can maintain once every 2-4 weeks.

Does this look legit? It may be worth the extra $30 but I'm not sure.
My ortho recommended this: EverSmile WhiteFoam On-The-Go Clear Retainer Cleaner
I thoroughly brushed my aligners and used that white foam each time I took them off and on. Honestly, it does work but you have to use it EVERY SINGLE TIME. I wore by first aligners for almost 4 weeks. When I went back to the orhto for my 2nd set of aligners, my ortho couldn't even tell which was the old aligners and which were the new because they were so clean.
By the time I got my 2nd tray, it just became too unrealistic to clean them as thoroughly as I was cleaning the first set. I got a little lazy and would sometimes just rinse them with water. I only really did a deep clean in the morning and at night. HUGE difference. 2nd set were yellowish by the time I switched to my 3rd set.
I'm sure there are many different products to clean your aligners and keep them from becoming yellow, but I think as long as you are deep cleaning them each time, you'll be fine. Unfortunately for most, it's a bit unrealistic to do such a deep clean each time.
Funny thing is, white teeth isn't even normal. Teeth are suppose to be yellowish, the dental whitening industry has successfully managed to make white the norm.
You can try whitening strips, they are much cheaper. Whitening toothpaste is useless.

My dentist recommended Opalescence. Here’s a link: Opalescence Go - Prefilled Teeth Whitening Trays - 15% Hydrogen Peroxide - Mint https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ER5NN3K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8BAGCZPJ1RZHSJCH6EWN
I’ve browsed the dentistry subreddit and done research on Reddit about teeth whitening products. The general consensus from dentists and employees/students in the dental field seemed to be that Crest white strips are tried and true. I’ve also seen Opalescence being recommended. Some dentists even sell Opalescence themselves.
Hi! Yes, you can but with certain ones whiteners. They can’t be too strong. This is what my dentist recommended:
WhiteFoam On-the-Go Clear Retainer Cleaner for Invisalign, Dentures, ClearCorrect, Essix, Vivera & Hawley Trays/Aligners. Cleans, Kills Bacteria, Whitens Teeth & Fights Bad Breath (50ml - 1 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BRNCC8W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_DYGYG4VX66ST0115BAWV?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Please refer to the comments left by others instructing on addressing structural concerns first with a dentist.
However, once all cavities, gum disease, and any other medical issues have been addressed, there are a number of cosmetic options available to improve your smile!
You cited concerns with yellowing- i would highly recommend crest whitening strips!. Anecdotally, I’ve used these and have several friends who have as well, all who have had great outcomes.
You can also use whitening toothpaste, though in my personal experience whitening toothpastes are good at keeping stains from re-accumulating, but don’t do a ton for removing stains that are already there.
If you have cosmetic concerns with crookedness, Smile Direct Club is an excellent and affordable option (compared to traditional braces or Invisalign) that I can personally recommend. Keep in mind, Smile Direct can really only help with cosmetic stuff- this treatment can’t address big structural issues like crossbites, but it’s great for getting the front teeth (top and bottom) in order.
Again, please make sure you’ve addressed any cavities or structural/medical problems first before moving to addressing the cosmetic things, but i hope this information is helpful to you when you are at this point!

Get some whitening gel to put in your trays overnight. Works great for me every few months when I feel I need a little whitening. This is what I use:
Nite White Excel 3 ACP Z 22% Teeth Whitening 3pk Kit (Latest Product) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000K5WQM0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_MFzwTM45v9TDp
Tbh I’m kind of obsessed with this foam cleaner. I use it in my trays almost every time I put them back in and it’s gives me the “just left the dentist for a cleaning” feeling. I think I will genuinely miss getting to use this when my Invisalign is done.

That sucks they were fine for me. But there are also cheaper cleaning options available on Amazon if you wanna try something else. Or I got this like pump thing that I loooove https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BRNCC8W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_R9FKCYD1HF4NEJX2G382 Or just brush them! I just like soaking them before cuz it makes me feel like I clean them better haha
Every morning when I wake up, I cover the trays with the foam cleaner (inside and out) and let that sit for 5 minutes. Then I take my toothbrush and gently brush them w/ the foam still on and then rinse with cold water. They look brand new even after two weeks, and I've never had problems with smell!
Tip: Amazon sells the foam cleaner for way cheaper than on Byte's website (it's called EverSmile instead of Brightbyte, but it's exactly the same product).

Finished 1 box. Didn’t tell anybody. Mom commented on how well I was brushing my teeth. 2 acquaintances have remarked that I have nice white teeth without prompting (happened a couple years after I finished the treatment).
Do take note that you should drink any staining liquids (coffee, tea, wine) with a straw and avoid the staining liquids touching your front teeth else it will take a couple weeks of thorough brushing to restore the whiteness. Best not to drink them while doing the treatment else it’s harder to tell if it’s actually working for you.
Someone I recommended this to said his teeth were sensitive while using it. I personally didn’t experience this but you can try waiting until they stop being sensitive to use the next strip.
It’s been 5 years since doing it and my teeth has maintained the whiteness. Make sure to maintain with good brushing preferably using an electric toothbrush. A basic one costs $40 at NTUC.
Buy this, it keeps them super clean
WhiteFoam On-the-Go Clear... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BRNCC8W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
When u are eating just spread the foam on the retainers, then after u brush u can either rinse it or put them on w the foam. I drink coffee w my trays in and they always stay clear
