Teeth whitening is done by yourself or your dentist. It's rare to have it done by your dentist unless you need it immediately for some reason, it's expensive ($1K mark) because they need to make a custom mold to protect your gums and will take a couple of hours. Otherwise you can do it gradually with Opalescence Go which dentists sell and is the same solution used above just less intense.
But really, the main way to get your teeth whiter and keep your teeth white is to brush and floss (flossing is incredibly important) regularly and have regular 6 month cleanings at your dentist.
Marcus is a beautiful man, inside and out. I'm seeing some hateful judgments here and I don't agree with them. That being said, teeth whitening has some a long way. My teeth were Marcus shade recently, partially because I used to be a smoker. I'm also a big coffee drinker! However, my dentist offered to whiten my teeth but the cost was like 500 bucks. I found the same product but without the expensive custom molds on Amazon. It's called opalescence go. My fiance and I did them together before our engagement photos and it really helped a lot. It's one of the cheapest and easiest ways to improve your appearance because you only have to use it for like ten days and then one day every few months. Much easier than wearing nice clothes, diet and exercise, and salon haircuts.

I had used the crest white strips in the past but a dentist gave me a sample of these to try and I fell in love with them! I found the same ones on amazon for much less than the dentist. They cover all your teeth rather than just the front ones like white strips. They are much more comfortable and effective! Me and my wife got custom whitening trays off Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004EKVOU2 they are just like the dentist makes. You have to take and impressions and send it back to them. It takes about 2-3 weeks to get the trays, but in 2 weeks of using your teeth will be white. Congrats on the wedding.

The custom whitening trays you get from your dentist are the best. The issue is that you have to pay dentist prices and go back and forth to the dentist a few times to get them. The trays are better because they last forever and use can use any time of gel. Also, the gel is pretty cheap. I ended up getting mine off amazon. I've had great results with the teeth whitening gels- specifically Poladay and Opalescence. You can buy them on amazon but I get them directly from my dentist. The initial investment is higher than with the strips but the product last quite a while and they work better. If you don't want to have trays made, you can buy these.

I'll probably eventually order them too. I've heard that professionals are longer thus they whiten more teeth but I don't really think it's worth +30% of the price. And the differences between other types like 3d Glamorous and vivid are nearly nonexistent.
Really depends on the manufacturer, and then whether you can trust the item actually came from them or is a knockoff.

I wouldn't trust no-name stuff on Gearbest/DX/eBay unless you've read trustworthy reviews or it's being used for something not very important. They may or may not come from the same factory, but the quality control could be worse, could be getting rejects, and support will probably be worse (Anker seems really on top of their Amazon reviews).
In short I was told I need to brush better - which of course was obvious...
But some tips they told me was to
- avoid teeth stainers - coffee and tea are big ones.
- Brush with an electric toothbrush with a round head. The issue I had was that my teeth are dark yellow since there is a lot of bacteria buildup there. I was told I had to brush my gums a lot better and the round head helps to hit that.
- For teeth whitening, consult with your dentist on the options they have. I went with the cheapest one they have which was to buy a whitening tray - Opalescence. I haven't used it myself yet but it should work well already after 1 use. Depending on what you eat and drink the whitening should last 4-6 months. The other options they had was to go in the office but those were $300 or $500 options.
- Brush, floss and use mouthwash.
I always thought that about clothing stores. Always looks better at the store. I did zoom whitening years ago and it was ok but didn't last. I asked my dentist about this and he then wanted to sell me whitening trays. This is after he sold me the zoom whitening. You can then just order opalescence gel or any other type of gel that works with your sensitive teeth. I do know then is some stuff you can use after teeth whitening to help with sensitivity as well.

You just put a little gel in the tray and wear them for 10 mins. The gel is cheap and the trays will last forever.
Cocofloss has been the best floss I’ve ever used and really worth the extra $$ in my opinion. I find their website has better flavors than Amazon. And for someone with sensitive teeth, I also really like Opalescence Go for whitening and will sometimes get the 35% gel from my dentist to put in my retainers. She said any in office whitening is actually really gimmicky and this way I can maintain once every 2-4 weeks.

I drink a lot of coffee and my teeth are white. I just use whitening trays maybe once a week to keep them that way. Super easy. If you switch to energy drinks it's going to cost you a lot more than just whitening your teeth.

I thoroughly brushed my aligners and used that white foam each time I took them off and on. Honestly, it does work but you have to use it EVERY SINGLE TIME. I wore by first aligners for almost 4 weeks. When I went back to the orhto for my 2nd set of aligners, my ortho couldn't even tell which was the old aligners and which were the new because they were so clean.
By the time I got my 2nd tray, it just became too unrealistic to clean them as thoroughly as I was cleaning the first set. I got a little lazy and would sometimes just rinse them with water. I only really did a deep clean in the morning and at night. HUGE difference. 2nd set were yellowish by the time I switched to my 3rd set.
I'm sure there are many different products to clean your aligners and keep them from becoming yellow, but I think as long as you are deep cleaning them each time, you'll be fine. Unfortunately for most, it's a bit unrealistic to do such a deep clean each time.
Funny thing is, white teeth isn't even normal. Teeth are suppose to be yellowish, the dental whitening industry has successfully managed to make white the norm.
You can try whitening strips, they are much cheaper. Whitening toothpaste is useless.

Ditto to this. I bought the generic denture cleaner at target and it works wonders. I once accidentally bit into a piece of watermelon with my trays still in. I was coming off a long bike ride and hot. I soaked them with a peroxide and water mixture and it helped. Also can brush your trays with non abrasive toothpaste. I also use this. I can tell you those little lights don't do a thing. You want the whitening trays you can get from your dentist. They last forever and you can use any gel you want with them. The gel is super cheap and you can get it from anywhere online.
