I would suggest tennis grip tape, the thing you wrap around handle of tennis racket. If I remember correctly some time ago someone mentioned that it works great for grip and doesn't interfere with finger detection. It should prevent geting sweat between that grip plate. I will be ordering one soon as one of my controlers already went bad possibly to sweat damage.

It's the same stuff people use for axe handles and handlebars on bikes
Remove all electronics, sand the saber to give the surface tooth for the paint to hold on to, put protection over the holes so paint doesn't get inside ( I used rolled up toilet paper roll cardboard and rolled up pieces of paper for the screw holes), spray paint the entire saver also protecting the points where it screws together (I like electrical tape for the form fit), spray-painted with Rust-oleum Hammered flat black a light layer over the whole saber in pieces and let dry for balance 3 minutes before I start lightly wiping away. You want to hit only the raised areas so that it stays black in the crevices and you want to be very gentle with your touch so that it's still leaves paint on the saber. You can also use turpentine to push the paint around a bit if you use a thicker layer or paint thinner/acetone. The most important thing to remember is that the saber is going to look wrong for a good portion of the time until, suddenly, it just looks right. After the paint has dried and you have it the way you want it wait about an hour and then hit it with Crystal Clear flat protective coat spray paint. Once that's dried for about 2 hours I hit it again for a second coat of clear coat. Remember to apply those coats at a distance to make sure they go on clear (at least a foot away). I used this for the handle and locked down the ends with Loctite epoxy. The best measuring cut method I've found for spiral leather wraps is the one I mentioned in this post. MTFBWY
I wrapped mine in these tennis racket wraps and electrical tape: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JVBB1QF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It actually feels much better than stock and cheap to replace.
Hey, I have had the same problem. My hands sweat a lot.
I of course use sweatbands on for arm, but it is not enough. I have tries multiple over grips now and have cone to the conclusion that i need to play with grips that have a “dry feel”
It is amazing and no matter how much i sweat, the grip feels dry.
And what grip do i use? Tourna Grip original. VERY IMPORTANT: it has to be the one that says Dry feel on the package Link to Amazon
It feels try and it stays that way.
Grips that are “tacky” do not work i my opinion. They might feel sticky, but when tour hands sweat a lot, they get slippery
got a link?
also gladly sharing mine:
im currently using https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00GKQFV84/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08BHRKQM3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&th=1 as glue and for 7€ i can retape my mouse like 15 times with , and its better than anyy hotline grip, corepad grip, lizardskins grip tape that i tried and costs over 10-12€for taping once lol
You should try using a "chalk spray" sometimes they work really well. There's a bunch of brands I'm sure, but here's an example
Why leather? I just use the thin tennis racquet rubber feeling overgrip. eg https://www.amazon.ca/Wilson-WRZ4025BK-Profile-Overgrip-Grips-Black/dp/B00GKQFV84/ref=pd_lpo_2?pd_rd_i=B00GKQFV84&psc=1
I use thin double sided sticky tape from the dollar store on the stick first 30-40% coverage, then wrap the overgrip. It never slides off. Then every 1 year peel it off and wipe it with rubbing alcohol, and regrip it with fresh overgrip. overgrip 3pack $10.
For my throttle, I cut vertical strips of the overgrip and double sided tape and attach it that way. I add a bit of wood glue under the two ends to make sure it does not peel off the ends.
Hi, I actually used thin badminton racket grips instead of the stock feet, like done here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8mOfVpAgGU&t=130s&ab\_channel=HardwareUnpluGGed
it drops it by a few mm and feels much better on the wrist, its sooo much better.
however I did notice the feet still had some adhesive if you were to decide to stick the back.
These are non adhesive, so you'll need glue to adhere but they are thin and it does not move at all, even better than the stock feet.
https://www.amazon.ca/Wilson-WRZ4025BK-Profile-Overgrip-Grips-Black/dp/B00GKQFV84/ref=sr\_1\_2?dchild=1&keywords=wilson+badminton+grips&qid=1631622756&sr=8-2
I used nail polish remove and a cloth/plastic scraper to break down the paint on the back.
If you need to wet sand, use 800 grit sandpaper to avoid scratching the glass.
I used 400 wet sand on one area and it scratched it a bit, so when I was done, I spray a first layer of clear coat and the scratched were filled in, and then I sprayed black.
Also if you do spray, I'd use an automotive paint because it has hardening properties in is to make it more durable.
Not sure if I understand but did you mean the hand support? It’s a tennis racket overgrip.

I've haven't tried this yet, but I felt one and it was super sticky. It's like a beeswax sticky rag that you wipe on your grip Tac Rag
Good thinking, thanks for the tip. This might also help in some lighter transformations of right-handed into left-handed/ambidextrous joysticks.
I am not familiar with tennis overgrips; did you choose that particular one for some target properties? How does it compare with this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000ULRRCI/?coliid=I3MNDTYALMCHVQ&colid=17FSHKBOVPLBI&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
I was hoping the 'comp' means compact, for finer layering of desired areas, but now not so sure if that's just the brand. :D
Maybe they are of the same width as your Wilson choice after all ...
Something along the lines of this http://www.ghostgrip.com/hand-antiperspirant/liquid-chalk.aspx
or...

These weren't the ones I used, but they work on the same premise.
Do you wear a glove? I tried it without a glove and had the same experience. This stuff helped, but I went back to wearing a glove anyway and am happier with the grip that way.
