Not a textbook per se but it has a textbook version. I still reread this as a pulmonary critical care attending every now and then. Linda Constanzo's BRS Physiology. Guyton and Hall is good to pass exams but it's better to know than to memorize. By rereading a simple book, you'll know it. Still helps my decision making process on a daily basis.

Wait.... I'm almost positive that if you actually read what I said, that I gave Bellicheck credit, no? I said Brady likely had MORE to do with it, but I didn't say Bellicheck had NOTHING to do with it?
Maybe spend some money on this and then answer me back.
No idea, it's just a review book for physiology. Board Review something I guess... Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/Physiology-Board-Review-Linda-Costanzo/dp/1496367618
https://www.amazon.com/Exceptional-Student-Education-Teacher-Certification/dp/0738611433 here’s what I used, I really just hate to brush up quickly on everything but math, the math I got a tutor for like twice just to make sure I knew everything. It’s not too bad & sometimes this thing will be a requirement for UCF but not for the school you might be trying to actually work at (as was my case for working at UCP, check with you principal about that). You have to pass it either way. But I’d say a week or two of serious studying out of this book with get you good to go for testing day. Good luck.
Heard a lot of good about this study guide - 2021 / 2022 ASVAB For Dummies: Book + 7 Practice Tests Online + Flashcards + Video (For Dummies (Career/Education)) https://www.amazon.com/dp/1119784174/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_R32VYY2CYY34R13HB5DQ - Currently using it right now and have learned a ton.
>Bought a bunch of stuff, wants to race, then wants to build a class around stuff he bought.
your reading and comprehension is F minus dude. my suggestion was race stock mini b/t R2R. the outlaw austin group does this kind of shit, lots of clubs run stock slash, etc. this isnt an advanced concept. you just happened to ask what building a pro roller kit cost, which a) was not relevant to running stock classes and b) i just happened to be able to answer because i just built one. i think you just cant see the forest for the trees because you are hell bent on spending money to win instead of reading and comprehension.
It’s you

Just don't there's no upside just take your time and study I got a 44 and took pact because it sounded good the way they pitched it instead of something else
in the fleet it is shit ass miserable
This book helped me a lot in med school.
It's geared towards med students I think. But applied physiology is pretty much going to be the same thing across the health sciences.
I used these particular flashcards to help me study and I found them to be quite helpful, especially for helping me remember how do algebraic things.
The questions on these flash cards were just a bit harder than the questions on the asvab, so if you can master these you should have no problems with the real test
Hi, did you start off with these 3 books first before TTP?
Hello there!
I’m enlisting into the marines , I’m still a senior in Highschool. I’ve been studying for the ASVAB , I wanna say since like late June till up to now.
I was scheduled to take it on the 17th of September, I went and completely bombed it. I was so disappointed, I guess what I was studying wasn’t enough. This has motivated me soooo much more, And i now somewhat know what to expect on the test when i go retake it.
I purchased the Barrons flash cards

Along with “everything you need to ace...” books from amazon
Everything You Need to Ace... https://www.amazon.com/dp/0761160957?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
( I got the science math & history as well as computers and coding) I’ve been trying to do everything that I can to better prepare myself. I love reading and writing .. math? Science ? Yeaaaaa no, not my thing . But from what I understand you generally want to score as high as you can on each of the first 5 sections which include General Science , Arithmetic Reasoning , Word Knowledge , Math Knowledge& Paragraph Comprehension... the rest honestly doesn’t matter but you still want to do as best you can on those but focus on those sections as much as you can!
Not sure if there's a test coming up, but just for studying, this book is a godsend and covers virtually all the content in both Chem101 and Chem102, with the exception of the final ligens chapter in 102.
I took this test last September - I had an agreement to earn for the school year. I ordered a book, studied as much as I possibly could, and went in for the test. My degree is in zoology and I have no background in teaching. With enough studying, I passed my first try. PM me with any other questions.
It's a little outdated for things that change (e.g. CPR) but the general knowledge stuff is great. It explains why each other answer is wrong.
Edit: Upon doing some further searching, it looks like there's a newer one from 2013. Not sure if there any actual changes but worth a look.
Congrats man! I don't start my EMT class until February but I'm pumped. I can't wait to hopefully get a full time job and then work towards my medic license in a year! And don't sweat the computerized test. It wasn't too bad. I like how it can be short if you answer the questions right and the computer feels 95% sure that you are competent enough in the subject. There is this book on amazon that helps you study for it. http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/0738611301/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
If it seems to be easy enough to be the right answer....it probably is. READ THE QUESTION READ THE QUESTION READ THE QUESTION.
There is a set of flashcards that you can get on amazon. Between that and a site, jblearning.com, you will get exposure to questions that have the same purpose and goal as far as an answer, but with a few words different.
Study triage, study operations, study your vitals ranges for age groups (peds, children, teenagers, infants, etc)
TL;DR: There are sources out there that have questions reworded taken straight from the test.
You definitely had the dog bite one right in my opinion because it's scene safety first. As for the patient hand off I never had any questions like that. That's tough. Also, since you have your report of how you did on the diff sections focus on the ones that you were below passing on BOTH tests since that is what is getting you. Last thing to consider is this book: http://www.amazon.com/EMT-Basic-Interactive-Flashcards-Premium-Edition/dp/0738601233/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1344931347&sr=8-11&keywords=EMTb+test
I went through about a third of it and I think it probably helped me out in deciding how to prioritize the steps of patient care for the different scenarios. You may want to purchase it.
