Wedding stationer here! Looks cute and definitely not cheap! I actually would recommend the opposite of the other poster and say to keep the zip code on its own line and spaced out, it’s how I traditionally format addresses. If you want to elevate the aesthetics I would write out the full state name instead of using the abbreviation. Again, that’s what I usually do when formatting addresses for the suites I work on.
Edit: if you’re worried about centering things properly, left aligning looks just as good. And one trick of the trade for really straight lines is to use a laser level (this is the one I use: BLACK+DECKER Laser Level (BDL220S) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000B8GBBS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_K9PK7ENBXXM2WFGGNDMD)
Not really sure what your budget or needs are, but a palm sander (also called corner or detail sander) might work for you. They are relatively inexpensive and the sanding pads are too. I've used a Harbor Freight one almost daily for many years for many different types of projects.
Here's a decent one from Amazon
Whatever sander you decide on, an essential add-on is a gum rubber sandpaper cleaner. I went for years always replacing the sandpaper when it got clogged until I discovered that I could clean them over and over, and save a lot of money.
Hope that helps!
Take it down and sand down the areas that are making contact. I’d use a small orbital sander like this one.
BLACK+DECKER Random Orbit Sander, 5-Inch (BDERO100) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MLSS1SW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_VJ8BC2861W3KVRVHM7YD
I got a black and decker cordless screw driver for this exact purpose. +/- $20 on Amazon. I'll track down a link shortly for you. Worked like a charm before I said fuck it for on the press trimming and went back to my zip trim.
Edit: BLACK + DECKER AS6NG Alkaline Cordless Screwdriver https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B004HY3APW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_.9Fsyb4X9WK90
It takes AA batteries so you can replace them instead of having the factory battery slowly fuck off like they do.
That project sounds like it would be an interesting & learning one to take on. I have some old battery powered drills that I might try this out on. But as you note the $20 drill is likely the route to go if you're not looking for a project.
This B&D runs $25 on Amazon and has pretty good reviews (likely you can get closer to the $20 for a generic at Harbor or Wal-Mart)
It depends on what you are planning on doing with it. I just do some home project welding and I bought a Wen 7 Amp 4 1/2" angle grinder that was only about $30 when I got it. I also later bought a Black + Decker 6 Amp 4 1/2" angle grinder that is also about $30. I got 2 because it was faster for me to use one with a cut off wheel to cut a part, then weld it, then switch to the second one with a grinding wheel or flap disc to clean up the weld. So I am not using either one for long periods of time. And I have had both of them for a few years and they work great for me.
However if you want something with a longer duty cycle so you can cut a bunch of pieces or grind all the welds at once, then id go with a higher end tool.
A larger wheel size is good if you need to cut bigger items, or just do a lot of cuts, but it also makes cleaning up welds more difficult, especially if they are in a corner. So I like the 4 1/2" size that is more manageable.
I did also just get a 20v battery powered Bauer brushless angle grinder a few weeks ago, but so far I have only used it for cutting and shaping some aluminum 3/16" sheets. But it did cut those like butter.
Normally I'd recommend getting a decent angle grinder, but if it's only 5 pavers, go cheap. If you have a Harbor Freight near you that's a great choice. Otherwise Amazon has a B&D for $30.
There's already a similar tool available:
https://www.amazon.com/BLACK-DECKER-BDCDMT1206KITC-Matrix-Combo/dp/B00PK4XY90
And from the looks of it, there's no way the motor is inside the handle unless you want your power tool to melt your skin off after 15 minutes.
Umm... maybe I don't know exactly what you're wanting to do, or maybe you're trying to make it more difficult than it has to be. But... this works for me: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000B8GBBS/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You can also use a laser level. You can set it on a chair or something and then measure the height of the beam at different points on the floor. Sport to link to a cheap B+D model. You can always go with a nicer one if you wish.
My favorite is this: BLACK+DECKER Cordless Screwdriver (AS6NG) AA Battery - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004HY3APW/
SKIL Rechargeable 4V Cordless Screwdriver with Circuit Sensor Technology, Includes 9pcs Bit, 1pc Bit Holder, USB Charging Cable - SD561201 , Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C4916LS/
…as a new homeowner you’re forever assembling furniture, randomly screwing/unscrewing stuff, and a simple screwdriver (and rechargeable battery setup) is a great gift. It’s not a great screwdriver, but it’s so much better than twisting a manual one a thousand times when you’re assembling a set of IKEA chairs.
Agreed. You can get a drill for $30, if not less. That's basically the cost of a trailer rental, never mind gas, and paying someone.
I used baler belt from Tractor Supply Company, as the rubber flaps, when I did mine.
https://www.amazon.com/BLACK-DECKER-Corded-5-2-Amp-DR260C/dp/B00T2VJ93C/?th=1
Oh, that's not a drill, it's an impact driver. I'm wayy too dumb to begin to communicate the difference, but I know it's not compatible. This is what I have, it's cheap and works. I have a battery one as well, but this one is cheaper and gives reliable power where a battery can vary based on charge strength.
Use a small angle grinder with a metal cut-off wheel. Make sure to wear eye protection.
This is the $25 alternative: https://smile.amazon.com/BLACK-DECKER-TLD100-Thermal-Detector/dp/B0044R87BE/ref=sr_1_2?crid=289LUK0TIEQ1H&keywords=black+and+decker+thermal&qid=1640013023&s=hi&sprefix=black+and+decker+thermal%2Ctools%2C76&sr=1-2
Basically, what it does is you measure the temperature of your home at one spot, and you scan around looking at different temperatures in different places. It does the job just as well as a thermal imaging camera at literally 1/10th of the price.
Been around for a long time. Black and Decker was the first mainstream company to offer in recent times.
BLACK+DECKER Cordless Drill Combo Kit with Case, 6-Tool (BDCDMT1206KITC) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PK4XY90/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_Y1H4TMJHC0BB6F02YRNR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I also don't really have a workplace in my garage to saw. do you think https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000077CQ0/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A2L77EE7U53NWQ&psc=1 will do?
I still use one of these for reloading. It was a great apartment bench. Folds up flat and you can stick it in the closet when guests come over.

How do I rip a 2 x 4 with just a saw.
I have a squat rack that I can clamp it to but nothing else.
Would this work?
Have you tried something like a mouse sander. They’ve always gotten into nooks that my larger sanders couldn’t. Otherwise a soft touch with something like a wood chisel might work.
Looks like a nice pallet for staining! Should look really nice when finished.

Maybe lensrentals?
Theres also something like this: https://www.amazon.com/BLACK-DECKER-TLD100-Thermal-Detector/dp/B0044R87BE/ref=sr_1_18?dchild=1&keywords=thermal+camera&qid=1611859198&sr=8-18
Yeah man this is in my apartment and it’s super easy to put it away if guest are coming over. This is what I used to make it;
Vice: https://www.harborfreight.com/3-in-swivel-vise-with-anvil-61329.html
I used couple threaded fasteners and 271 loctite and it’s been holding up great!
Hey man I actually put it together using these two parts:
Vice: https://www.harborfreight.com/3-in-swivel-vise-with-anvil-61329.html
Used a couple threaded fasteners and 271 loctite and it’s been holding up great!
You could use a cheap detail sander like this. I have this one and it has worked well for me. The tip is removable so there are two triangular shaped tips for getting into places like this.
BLACK+DECKER Mouse Detail Sander, Compact Detail (BDEMS600) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OJWLNMO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_doa7FbXQVY59R
How do you recommend differentiating the two issues? Do you recommend buying a thermal leak detector, or are those pretty useless?

Muglug is right on every note. I'll just mention that I got my ROS here BLACK+DECKER BDERO100 Random Orbit Sander, 5-Inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MLSS1SW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_nzyxCbMB3536X
Its not professional quality, but the price is right and, since you're just needing something for a DIY project, it will be fine for your purposes. You can also save a couple extra bucks by getting it through Amazon Warehouse Deals. In the frequently bought together, there's a 60 piece variety pack of sanding pads. It's more than you need, but you will probably pay about the same or more to buy individual packs of the different grits.
