Just a tip for anyone who plans to attempt this. Do not use a tow ball to pull anything like this the way he showed in the video. Those trailer balls aren't designed to work like that and they can suddenly snap off, and become a projectile. There is an actual towing clevis you can install into your receiver that allows you to attach a strap that is way safer.

It’s the black widow hitch carrier from discount ramps. Works great if you get a hitch stabilizer from Amazon. The ramp is a bit flimsy but the rack is solid.

Should be easy enough to assemble and attach it on your own. I've used this one Maxx Bike Hitch and it was a breeze.

Hmm....I searched for "camera" and "speed" and didn't see anything relating to the warnings prompts. "Camera" only gave info on "alert distance" which as far as I could tell just changed *when* you were alerted.
I have the exact same set up and got this off of Amazon to address the wobble.

I literally yet looked this up this morning for my Tacoma. This one is inexpensive and has great reviews. If you get it let me know how you like it.

I have the same one. Survived a 3000 mile round trip to Texas and back from Michigan. However I would really recommend using this as well.

Otherwise it can rattle around a lot.
+1 for ditch the running boards. The trailer hitch as well unless you plan to use it or need a strapping point. If so then one of these https://www.amazon.com/Smittybilt-29312B-Receiver-Shackle-Receivers/dp/B001CF1A7O and an actual recovery strap which is different than a tow strap. The best thing you can ever get for 4x4ing is a FRIEND to go with vs alone.
I actually bought this anti rattle kit to secure the L shaped "drop down" portion of the setup. SUPER solid, no worries! It took a little finagling to install, but well worth it.
Get a hitch tightener. It will alleviate much of the "normal" noises a hitch can make. But yes, like everyone else says, make sure your hitch etc is correct.

You might want to look into a hitch tightener or other anti-rattle device.
I'm probably explaining poorly. Thats my experience most of the time when the hitch is loaded with a trailer it doesn't wobble anymore and doesn't make much noise. On my XC90 it still does though lots of it. Its very loud over every bump and imperfection in the road.
Few people recommended a few methods to fix it. I just ordered this pin thing thats supposedly removes all the slop. We'll see. Just didn't know if any one else had run into this.
don't use the straps over a ball. its 32 bucks to do it safely
