If anyone needs a weekender bag, I can wholeheartedly recommend this one from Amazon as a great budget option. I got one for Christmas, and waxed it with otter wax, and then didn't use it until this past weekend. But it worked great for a few days worth of stuff and I was really impressed with the pockets. Only thing that would make it better would be a shoe compartment, but I'm fine without for this price. Oh, and a grey strap to match the grey canvas would have been nice as well. I just wanted to state this in case anyone is looking for a cheap weekend bag option.
Spent the weekend on the beaches of Lake Michigan and had a great time. The lake was choppy as hell so we didn't get to swim really, but we had a fun time nonetheless. It felt real nice to get away for a weekend.
I see a lot of comments questioning the quality of this bag so I thought I would add my comments on an Amazon alternative - I purchased the S-Zone weekender bag from Amazon and love it. Took it with me on my travels to Singapore along with many random weekend trips to LA/SF, and plan to take it with me to Japan in the Summer.
Also - I purchased the Bluboon Weekender bag at the same time to compare and choose which one I wanted, but the blueboon was not as high quality as the S-Zone so I returned it and kept the S-zone.
I don't keep them on a shelf, I keep them in a bag that I got on Amazon that's fantastic for carrying games around. My collection is still fairly small and I travel around a lot so I just take them with me. I tend to keep them in there horizontally as well.
This bag. It holds 6 games flat and some smaller ones on the side if you don't mind putting them in sideways!
These duffles have moved me all over the world. They weigh next to nothing and can all fold up to be stored into a shoe box sized area. Very sturdy and can survive even the worst airport. I recommend you out all your clothes in vacuum sealed bags, too. My luggage got caught in a downpour in Istanbul once when it was being carted from the plane to the terminal and while the bag was dripping wet, my clothes were just fine. Amazon duffle bags
A large duffel bag I had at the time. Don’t remember the brand, but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.
Something like [this].(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003KR1K40/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_E9XHT0ZKPJCX63Y9RM24)
Herschel. Looks good, does the job. Love mine. Herschel Novel Duffel Bag, Navy/Tan Synthetic Leather, Classic 42.5L https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0077CLHGK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_3FMX9QRQRSE27AQNCJVN?psc=1
I use duffels for international travel. They are light, convenient and can be easily packed into a small space. I have a bunch of these ones that are awesome bags. Durable, big enough to haul lots and you you can sling the straps onto your back like a back pack when you need to. Plus, they are light, so you can throw one into another bag if you think you are going to be bringing back more than you brought. And the price is great. I have been on about 20 international flights with mine and have had no issues. I just throw a TSA lock on the zippers and I'm good to go.
Never tried the Amazon brand but the samsonite duffel has been great for us...no holes and it holds a massive amount of stuff. Great for household moves as it swallows up clothes and shoes like you wouldn't believe. We have four of them and use them yearly for transatlantic hauling.

Similar to that, I got this one on Amazon which has served me pretty well.
I am using this bag from Amazon.
It just fits all of my gear and I strap the leg pads to the top/outside using the shoulder belt. The three outside pockets are smaller than they look. I use them for little things like laces, tape, etc. I've never tried, but I don't think they will fit jerseys, which I just put in the main pocket.
But I will caution that it really just fits my gear (minus the leg pads). I had to experiment with how to pack the back to maximize the space, but for the price, I can't complain.
Amazon Japan seems to have plenty of cheap options. Questionable quality but if it only needs to make one trip...
If those are still too pricey then why not get a duffel bag? I used to use duffels when traveling and never had any problems. Nothing fragile, obviously, but fine for clothes.
5.11 Patrol Bag - on Amazon - two different sizes it looks like, but no more than $70.

The brand is a good name, tactical styling and rugging seems, zippers. Even have eyelets so you can put a lock on the zippers. Lots of pockets and an inner divider so you can compartment stuff. I have an NCase m1 (and it did just fine with a larger Fractal Core 500). I put some extra thin foam from packing material around the case and on motherboard inputs for extra protection.
I can fit computer, all cables, headphones, computer, mouse pads, etc in this when I travel. Only concern is it can get heavy as you load it with gear and the shoulder strap could use more padding. When possible I move anything heavy to my roller suit case or checked baggage (monitor surrounded by pillows).
I think this will have more space than you need but it's sized just right to out it in the overhead compartment.
I think I know just the bag. Amazon Basics Large Duffel this fits everything and I wear size medium in all my gear, 15 inch shins, size 8 skates.
I just bought a couple of these for our karting gear (one each for my kid and me) — fits helmet, suits, rib protection, shoes, etc with room to spare. Super lightweight and can’t beat the price!

maybe something like this then? It's not bad for the price. Looks about $75.00 right now.
Otherwise have everyone pack a legit duffel bag. I bet four of those suckers would fit pretty easily in the trunk.
Still think you should pack light though.
I ordered one of these from Amazon specifically to transport the core box for KDM 1.5:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BFHEAI/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It didn't fit. Or more appropriately, it would only fit at a weird angle, with much stretching, and was very difficult to get back out.
I'm considering buying a new bag and maybe someone can help me.
I like this weekender bag by Navali but I want to use it as an everyday bag for university, my side job and free time. Is this too large? Will it look out of place? Has anyone made experiences using a weekender-style bag as everyday bag? Does it work out nicely?
I just like the look of the bag with the small extra pouches.
The alternative would be this.
I bought the Rothco Canvas parachute bag from Amazon about a year ago and love it: https://www.amazon.com/Rothco-Canvas-Parachute-Cargo-Coyote/dp/B003XNW1UI/
It's super durable , holds a crapload of games, and is inexpensive, at under $23. Google for Meeple Mountain game bag if you're interested in reading my review of it.
get yourself something like this...
i was able to put my tent, air mattress, sleeping bag, and backpack in one when i flew to magnaball. get a cheap headlamp and an external usb battery to charge your phone.
Holy cow you have a lot of games. And I seem to get maybe five or six plays before the corners start to tear, it sounds like maybe I am being rough. All I do is grab the top of the box by the sides and shake it so that the bottom will come out, I always tried to be gentle but maybe that in and of itself is being rough. And I keep them in a bag I got on Amazon and transport them all the time.
I travel every other weekend, usually a two to three nights stay. Baring the obvious underwear and toiletries, I'd say I take: * One pair of jeans (plus the ones I will be wearing to travel in) * Couple of henley's/t-shirts (depending on time of the year) * A flannel shirt * OCBD (for going to dinner) * A knit jumper * Pair of casual shoes (New Balance or Converse, I'll most likely be wearing boots whilst I travel) * Laptop and chargers * GoPro and cable * Book * Diary * Potentially some workout gear
Accessories like belt, watch, etc will already be on me at the time, same as chukka boots. I like to travel as lightly as possible due to the fact I have to take a two trains, and the London Underground, at peak hours on a Friday evening. Getting through the crowds is tough enough, I don't want to be weighed down any more than I need to be. If you're interested, this is the bag I use - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Herschel-Supply-Company-Duffel-Liters/dp/B0077CLCWO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1487790968&sr=8-1&keywords=herschel%2Bnovel%2Bduffle%2Bbag&th=1
I didn't pay full price for it, I got it in a sale. I'd recommend it, solely on the fact it has a separate compartment for shoes. Although, I imagine many other bags have that function.
I bought this cargo duffel bag from Amazon for ~$20 and love it. It holds a lot of games, is square shaped so they fit snugly when stacked, and has handles and an optional shoulder strap.
I have a couple of these for hauling games around to various game nights. Holds about 7-8 ticket to ride size boxes with room to spare.
This is the bag I use on patrol. I really like it as its big enough to fit everything but has just enough separations that I can organize how I like. Wingman looks nice too though!
5.11 Tactical Patrol Ready Bag, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000AL9CUI/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_O4aOxb9MVK934

can you link to the one you purchased? I only found this:
I threw my two Ortlieb panniers, handlebar bag and tent into http://www.amazon.com/Samsonite-Tote--Duffle-Luggage-Black/dp/B003KR1K40 when I went from US to Europe. Very lightweight and compact when folded up.
I have the 5.11 Patrol Bag, it's not bad. Smaller than a duffel bag, but lots of pockets, sturdy, and shoulder strap. Might be a bit larger than you want though.
This exact bag. It's as low as $55 on Amazon depending on the color.
Yea I looked around a bit and I saw this. For the price, I think it's decent and it will do the job (short weekend getaways/gym bag)
