Just a heads up everyone, Amazon has the price down 40% right now. Normally it's $106, but they have it down to $65!!!
I actually physically own this map ( as well as many others), and it's from the Lands of Ice and Fire map collection, which predates WOIAF by a year.
I don't own WOIAF, so I can't comment on that. Perhaps it reproduced the maps and made them canon.
I have the leatherbound paperbacks and really like them. The leather covers make it easy to take with me without worrying about them getting damaged, plus the whole set is only a little more than $50 on amazon and I've seen them in bookstores for as low as $35. The only drawback with the paperback set is the small print, so if you have trouble with that then definitely go for the hardcovers.
At end of each book there is a list of all the characters involved in the books, and their brief one-sentence descriptions. I think in the later books the list is like 20~30 pages.
There is an actual atlas of Westeros and The Known World, that was published back in 2012, The Lands of Ice and Fire.
The Wikipedia article about the world's geography is quite extensive and interesting too
If you're going to provide pirated material, at least give people the source so they can purchase it if they'd like to support the creators!
They are from the official Lands of Ice and Fire map book, which you can buy on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Lands-Ice-Fire-Game-Thrones/dp/0345538544
You are in LUCK!!!! https://www.amazon.com/League-Legends-Runeterra-Official-Companion/dp/0316497320
You see in I think in less than a Week Riot is releasing their first lore book focussed around the Realms of Runeterra and it will have the first Official Timeline! That Youtuber that the other person linked, Necrit. Will be covering the book too, and others will for sure talk about it. But Necrit also talks about other lore things from the card game and such.
AFAIK, this map is from the media of which we do not speak, as evidenced by the eastern portion which isn’t canon since the release of the TLOIAF maps. The Lands of Ice and Fire is what you’re looking for if you want beautiful and accurate maps.
Here’s a reddit post of the HQ world map from TLOIAF.
It does exist and it is an amazing cookbook!! World of Warcraft: The Official Cookbook https://www.amazon.com/dp/160887804X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_lDonDbE3H92QT
The soup tastes very good. Lots of Ancient Pandaren Spices
Some people prefer reading the compendiums . They collect 8 volumes in one book. The first compendium is basically like Season 1-4 of the show.
Personally, I prefer the volumes. . They collect 6 issues in one book. I like these better because the covers are much cooler than the compendium. You’ll save money and space with the compendium but I find those incredibly uncomfortable to read. They are big thick bible books. The volumes are much better for casual reading.
Issues are sold individually for 2.99-3.99 online.
Or you just can just read it online. Links aren’t allowed but you can find it with a quick google search.

I have this map pack and it's fantastic. I have a few of them framed up on the walls, I highly recommend buying them!
If you are patient and not in a rush there’s a single hardcover volume being released in October of this year that’s supposed to include Tolkien’s original illustrations. I think the cover art is quite nice as well. Price isn’t bad either for hardcover.

Realms of Runeterra book I think. https://www.amazon.com/League-Legends-Runeterra-Official-Companion/dp/0316497320
People have uhhh "copied" most of the book's information onto the wiki though, if you're curious.
Yeah I have seen these on Amazon, they are really small and chubby but covers look good.
Those LoTR books are gorgeous. I’d love to get a set like that.
edit found them on Amazon. Only $50 Canadian. Not bad.

I got these for Christmas a couple years back. Used them to read the series for the first time and I absolutely love them. The font is small but manageable.
I'm not an expert on merch but I imagine Amazon gets it from an official wholesaler of the products and the puts them up for retail. Amazon it pretty good about having official products sold there, and It'd probably be pretty clear if it wasn't official (with a lack of the products info and what not).
I actually just purchased my first LN collection from Amazon earlier today, and they listed the publisher on the page. So I hope my money went to the creator's sales.
Bioshock’s story is my favorite. I’ve replayed Bioshock 1 probably 4-5 times.
I love that they wrote a novel as well. Well worth the read if you’d like to see the story laid out from conception of Rapture through the building of the city, it’s hay day and downfall. BioShock: Rapture https://www.amazon.com/dp/0765367351/
I had this same set, then had The Hobbit and Fellowship stolen when my car window was smashed and the backpack they were in was taken. Two years I sat frustratingly staring (not the entire time) at an incomplete box set. Just recently I simply had to right this wrong and picked up a new set of them, which has also inspired me to re-read all the way through again.
By the way, this pocket edition set is amazingly fair priced for its quality, look, and feel. And although they are pocket editions, they are extremely readable in my opinion. Highly recommended, $28 bucks on Amazon:

I hope not, I love the movies and I read half the hobbit but then the pandemic made me return the book to my HS so I just bought em
If anyone else is interested this is what I bought and now it’s on sale

I'd recommend getting them from Amazon. They're almost half off on there. You can get all 3 compendiums (144 issues total) for around $100 vs. $180 retail. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1607060760/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_eI.nwb70V69XJ
How much are you willing to spend? There are about 150 issues total and the show is about to hit the arc that starts around issue #100. There are three compendiums out that collect 48 issues each. If you want a solid chunk of TWD to get the juices flowing, you'd save even more money by going the compendium route.
The first one is going for $36 on Amazon and it collects #1-48. About $0.75 per issue. If you like/love that, you could either continue collecting the compendiums (and have to wait about four years for the next compendium to come out, since TWD is usually on a 12-issues-per-year schedule except for a few events in the past that had an issue every two weeks), or you could start collecting the trades going forward and eventually pick up the trades that were in compendium one. It's up to you.

If you like Game of Thrones and maps, you should check out "the Lands of Ice and Fire". It's an official map pack and they look great on walls. Amazon link (just 23,43$ right now)
Great collection btw!
I’m gonna ask a question, hopefully it’s not dumb. I just bought a set on amazon but it was only 5 books. Am I getting the whole story here?

There's an official English translation by the publisher Vertical now that is currently translating all the novels, the latest one to have been published is Tsukimonogatari, and they're pumping a new one every 2-3 months roughly. You can buy them on Amazon, for example.
Also, if you're up for it, they grouped the first novels into a First Season Box Set, and a Second Season Box Set is also available for pre-order (but will only come out at the end of the year).
Link for amazon. $30 is a steal.

I saw them in the US at Barnes and Noble a few weeks back. Here's the link from the web store, you may be able to find it there if you want to get it in person.
Amazon seems to have it for half the price though, if you can wait.
