Does nobody buy box sets anymore?
That's $50 or less than four months of Netflix. If all you watch is The Office then you need to rethink your priorities. You could save $200.
Get it on BluRay! Totally worth it. Everything looks and sounds better. I haven’t gone through the bonus features yet but I plan to as soon as I finish my rewatch.
https://www.amazon.com/Office-Complete-Steve-Carell/dp/B00LTO342M
For the cost of 5 months of Netflix, you can buy it all on DVD.
...
But yeah, I still mainly use Netflix to watch the same shows over and over again, and among those shows are The Office and Parks and Recreation.
I definitely advise buying your books from Amazon:

They have an annual option for the ad-free plan for $100 a year (or for the ad-supported plan for $50 a year). You can buy the entire series on iTunes for $70 or on Blu-ray for $120 and not have to deal with any of this streaming licensing bullshit.
> Perceptions of value in gaming are so strange to me. Physical copies of movies are often $20-$30 for 2-3 hours of main content + bonus features.
You can buy the box set for all seasons of the Office (US version) for $40. The whole show gives you 74 hours of entertainment.
People don't perceive the value of things directly in terms of the length of content.
Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.
fyi you can get the region free TNG Complete Blu-Ray for like $70ish shipped from Amazon UK - and it occasionally drops to like $60ish shipped
again, region free, and has all the subtitles and available dubs too. source: own it
The DVD collection of the series is pretty cheap. 20 at wal mart if I remember correctly. And at one point they were on Hulu and Netflix but I don't know for certain.
Edit:yep 20 on Amazon and you can find these at almost any wal mart I'm sure. Best buy might sell it for like 25.

The Office: The Complete Series blu-ray https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HT86TZ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PKMXDK5TVHNQ8JSXN4TT
Parks and Rec is also coming out on blu-ray soon. Figured to let you know since I’ve noticed fans of one are usually fans of the other.
Buy from Amazon UK even if you are in a different country. Great Price! Great Box Set. Each Episode was re-mastered and the extras are awesome.

Dragon Ball Z: Seasons 1-9 Collection (Amazon Exclusive) [Blu-ray] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075KZBHD6/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i_Mn2QEbH5V8W7S
Note that this is amazon referral spam, so ignore the OP and go to this direct link which won't reward the spammer. Also note: this is not a sale price, the product has been available since last November, and this is a region B/2 Bluray which won't play on US players.
Amazon, funimation etc, you can buy the full box set on amazon exclusively or 1 set at a time
Edit: here you go Dragon Ball Z: Seasons 1-9 Collection (Amazon Exclusive) [Blu-ray] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075KZBHD6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_v0zeCbPXC0PJT
Avatar: The Last Airbender is phenomenal and my favourite TV show of all time, even though on a critical level it’s arguably not as good as The Wire or The Sopranos. Regardless, it’s a damn great series with exhilarating martial arts-inspired fights, a unique Asiatic fantasy world, a simple-to-understand yet fully realised magic system, and the best character development I’ve ever seen in anything.
I would recommend getting the recently released Blu-ray edition of the complete series (which is available through Amazon.
Also, there is no movie in Ba Sing Se. You’ll understand what that means soon enough. 😂🙂
If you want that version of Z get this https://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Ball-Seasons-Collection-Exclusive/dp/B075KZBHD6/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=dragonball+Z&qid=1626732397&sr=8-11
Comes in a box to hold them all for $50 cheaper.
This is what you're interested in.
HOWEVER, it doesn't have The Plan or Blood & Chrome. I'm not aware of any "complete series" set sold in the US that has both of those, too. Also, it lacks the webseries, "Face of the Enemy," which was released on disc only in Japan.
It’s the complete blu-ray series. My GF got it on Amazon for me for my birthday!
From what I've been able to find, the UK version and the US version are exactly the same discs in different packaging. The few minor errors made in the remastering (a blue light instead of a red light, a planet rotating in the wrong direction, those are the only 2 I can even remember) were not fixed and are so minor who really cares. The UK ones are region free, on Amazon the US ones are listed as region a but from what I've heard they're exactly the same as the UK ones so that may or may not be an error. I am in the US I bought the UK version from Amazon.UK which currently with shipping converts to $66. I Can verify they are region free and I've have watched through them and am perfectly happy with my purchase. If the Best Buy one is different than the regular US release I don't know anything about it, but I doubt anything significant is different. I suggest buying whichever is cheapest...
The UK one isn't better, its just cheaper for the same content.
I bought the UK version from Amazon.UK about a year ago. It is region free, I'm in the US and had no problems with it. On Amazon.UK its $56.54 after converting to USD and adding shipping. thats cheaper than either version on the US Amazon. When I heard about the US version coming out I did some googling and what I found suggested that the new US version is pretty much just a rebox of the same discs. the few minor errors weren't considered worth fixing for them. A light flashing blue instead of red when data takes over the enterprise, a planet rotating in the wrong direction, I can't even remember what the others were, but it's the kind of thing you only notice if you are informed about them ahead of time, or you obsessively scrutinize every tiny detail. Unfortunately I can't find the same info again to reference now. But since both versions are full series sets, and the UK one is region free and significantly cheaper, and even cheaper still if you buy it from Amazon.UK, my advice is buy the UK set from Amazon.UK and spend $42-$77 less on it. I've started checking Amazon UK for cheaper region free blurays before I buy the ones on the US Amazon, there are frequently cheaper identical or nearly identical sets on UK, just takes a little longer to get it delivered.
Amazon is getting an exclusive bundle of Dragon Ball Z "seasons" 1-9 of the latest Blu-ray release, and it's due out next month.
For Kai, I'd expect a complete "season" set of the Buu arc (collecting the three "Part" sets, which themselves only just wrapped up a few months back) first, eventually much later down the road followed by perhaps a "complete" pack.
Here is a link to Amazon currently offering the entire box set at a truly low price!
https://www.amazon.com/Office-Complete-Steve-Carell/dp/B00LTO342M
Trust me go all in while it’s on sale, I paid more than this (like 50 bucks not full price) and every disk provides added laughs. Especially if you’ve hit the point where you have memorized the lines and cadence of Netflix rewatches; the deleted scenes are refreshing and the commentary is pretty good. Like listening to conversations with some of the actors and writers ( it varies each episode) sometimes they stay on topic and sometimes it’s just funny and you get to see a little of the personalities of those involved with the show.
The blu-rays on the series are best buy exclusive right now, but release on amazon and other places on June 5th. So far, every place I've seen has a bunch of problems with the video encodes, and there was even a fan project to remaster them so that the problems weren't as noticeable, but the blu-rays are completely free of all those problems. Looks like you can pick up the whole series in the highest quality it's ever been in for about 30 bucks:
https://smile.amazon.com/Avatar-Last-Airbender-Complete-Blu-ray/dp/B07BC5STNG?sa-no-redirect=1
I know for a fact it's on Netflix in Mexico and Canada.
You could also try complete collection on Amazon. The nice thing about these is that you get a lot of extras on them too.
I bought seasons 1 through 9 and all the deleted scenes are on it. However, you need to watch them separate from the actual show. You can watch all the deleted scenes for the episodes on that disc though in one big Mashup it's not a bad deal. 50 dollars well spent. Amazon Link
In addition to the medical care they are receiving, I strongly recommend the “Treat Your Own Back/Neck/Shoulder etc” series by Robin McKenzie. McKenzie Institute of a large training organization that trains physiotherapists, massage therapists and other manual therapy practitioners in functional and pain treatment. The techniques in the books have saved me thousands of dollars and greatly improved my pain and function, and they are really cheap, like $10 each.
Treat Your Own Back https://www.amazon.ca/dp/0987650408/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_37D528BPBC3F26Z9M23C
Not a doctor or PT, you should 100% see one for this. But definitely BACK OFF if you get symptomatic walking. Nerve pain in your leg isn't something you "push through" like stretches for muscles. Buy the "Treat your Own Back" book by Robin McKenzie and go through the checklist in the book to determine how bad your symptoms are. It could be something else so you should not do this in place of a Dr visit but rather in complement.
Same! I wholeheartedly recommend the book Treat Your Own Back by Robin McKenzie (link). It’s cheap if you want your own copy, and it’s a pretty fast read. My bad low back days are much less now.
You'll have to get the office complete series DVD set. It's amazon page lists everything that's included: https://www.amazon.com/Office-Complete-Steve-Carell/dp/B00LTO342M
There's also a dvd that has all of the digital shorts that the office did over the years. I think it's called "The Office: Overtime"
https://www.amazon.com/Avatar-Last-Airbender-Complete-Blu-ray/dp/B07BC5STNG
I believe you have till the end of this month to order before Amazon stops delivering to Australia. You can thank Turnbull for that.
nb: Seems to take them a few days to actually post it to.
I purchased this set for my first watch of the series: Amazon Link. No issues with compatibility that I experienced; good quality.
It's got the mini-series, the complete series including extended versions of some episodes, and Razor. It's missing The Plan, but I think this box set is a pretty good value - it's really decently priced compare to other box sets.
Definitely not cheap to buy the whole series on amazon... https://www.amazon.com/Office-Complete-Rainn-Wilson/dp/B07B64T9B3/ref=sr_1_3?crid=G8ZREV0C6P8M&keywords=the+office+complete+series&qid=1561576317&s=gateway&sprefix=the+office+comp%2Caps%2C227&sr=8-3
You sure you're not thinking of Korra? It was a big deal last year when Avatar blu ray was announced. (You can also see here on this boy that the release date was last summer) https://www.amazon.com/Avatar-Last-Airbender-Complete-Blu-ray/dp/B07BC5STNG
Oh mighty u/spidersam639, acknowledge the masterpiece that is Avatar The Last Airbender! Seeing you're an animation fan, I bet you've at least heard of it!
Make my next rewatch special with the DVD of the show! >!(I wish I had a bluray player) !<
It's my favorite show of all time, so it's the only show I want a physical copy of
OK maybe FMA too sometime later, but this takes priority!
Thank you!
64 bucks for the entire series, the miniseries, razor, and a ton of extras. It came out before the plan was released so it obviously doesn't have it. I know you said streaming but at this price there really is no excuse not to. Plus the video quality will be better than streaming.
The entire series can be had for the same price as one year's worth of ad-free Peacock.
I highly recommend checking out Dr. McGill, if you have the means see one of his certified therapists.
Here is a good article I read just this AM.
I had back pain from my early 20s. Herniated at least 2 discs, I think 3. Ended up having surgery for a severely herniated disc 5 years ago (had been seeing a chiropractor and I think he was responsible for the FINAL big herniation...stay away from chiropractors).
Unfortunately enough, I had this book before all that happened and looking back, had I READ it and followed it I think I would have avoided surgery and the nerve damage I have as a result. Seriously, get the book NOW. It will massively help you.
Lessons I've learned -
-Don't sit all day, get a standing desk, move around
-MOVE. But get a trainer / PT and learn good form. You can do strength training! You just have to learn to do it right and work with your body
-stretch, refer to the book I recommend above. I do cat/cows every night before bed.
-Be conscious of how you are feeling. Don't lift heavy bend a lot first thing in the am. Give your discs/back time to warm up for the day
Back off but don't stop moving if you feel in pain. Lying down won't help in the long run.
But seriously, check out McGill and definitely get the back book, its cheap and super helpful. I still refer to it if I feel like I've tweaked something. He also makes a neck one too.
You CAN feel better!
I suffered from neck pain for about 2 years (with herniated discs and burning sensation in my hands) that only went away completely after I read one of Robert McKenzie books. Not only did I learn to treat myself, but I also learned to prevent getting hurt again. This is his book for the back: Treat Your Own Back https://www.amazon.com/dp/0987650408/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_NZJ41N3BR9JJHS3HTT5Q
Robert's method is good, but I found it lacking in strengthening exercises. I added those in a way that wasn't hurting me and healed both, nerves and muscles permanently.
I'd recommend reading this book to understand how to treat and prevent the pain.
I've used this book to MUCH success for both my neck and back problems : https://www.amazon.com/Treat-Your-Back-Robin-McKenzie/dp/0987650408/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=3FCNC0T2ZBMOR&keywords=treat+your+own+back&qid=1644607047&sprefix=treat+your+%2Caps%2C101&sr=8-1
Nope, written by a physiotherapist and it really did help. Kept that little guy with the ice pick from sticking it in my back. Highly recommend.
i can't tell if this is a real question or some awful joke about buying an actual office...
Okay so first off these two sets both have the exact same content on disc (including bonus features) and are of the same audio/visual quality. Mind you the anniversary set isn't one of the US ones, its from europe, this is the US equivalent (again same exact discs)

"Steelbook" is a special kind of deluxe casing, which is why it costs more. It also has covers for each section with its own cover art. The anniversary/european set includes some art cards as well (some of that art is carried over for the ATLA calendar).
Its also worth noting a very recently released "Ultimate" Bluray release of both series. The on disc content is mostly the same as prior releases, but includes extra bonus disc which has an interview with the creators done by the official podcast. It lacks the special casing of the steelbook but actually has some of the european art cards along with new ones for LoK characters.
Fuck yes. I had recently ordered this son of a bitch and have been enjoying every minute of it for a proper rewatch. I have every single thing they ever did with this reimagined version of the series pirated, but felt it was time to own some legit copies for once (as well was enjoy better quality than my damn downloads).
Bring it up to your doctor and ask what they think / what you should do.
You could also read this book
Whole show on DVD is still only $50 on amazon.
Is this the collection you have?
Get this book. Stretch, keep active. After that, you can consider injections or other more invasive procedures.
And don’t do things that aggravate it. Eg, heavy lifting, twisting, etc.
mckenzie though? not all pt is the same. at the very least check out the book
Hey, quick question for anyone who comes in here, but finding the full length version of Razor in the UK is a real pain in the ass, but I think I might have tracked it down. Is this the right bundle? It says it has Razor and the broadcast version of Razor, but does that mean that the main Razor it has is the full length version?

yup, you don't have to live in pain. be sure to check out the book. I am pain free from these daily stretches and exercises after suffering on and off for a decade+
Bluray kan ga menjamin HD atau 4K; unless explicitly stated. Do give it a try, tapi gw rasa yang 40GB ini upsampling aja sih (kalo bukan concatenated with malware, lol). Kalo liat review Amazon dari yang beli sih tetep aja 4:3 / 480:60.
There is a book called "Treat Your Own Back". It is a basic summary of the content I teach as a physical therapist. I recommend to my patients.

I just bought it on bluray so I didn't have to worry about it bouncing from service to service, fixing to do the same with the four seasons and the two MHA movies.

well, you got your wish for The Office , let’s just hope Parks is next!!! i’ve been waiting SOOO long for the office release as well!! so happy!
The entire series has been released on BluRay today, in case you want the show in HD :)
When you look on amazon theres 2, one for $30 and one for $60, whats the difference? https://www.amazon.com/Avatar-Last-Airbender-Complete-Blu-ray/dp/B07BC5STNG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1537466822&sr=8-5&keywords=avatar+the+last+airbender
Also the Blu ray is only like $30 on Amazon.
Ninja edit: but is apparently "reserved for prime members," which is stupid. Everyone should be able to experience this show in all its HD glory.
I ordered the blue ray already. Amazon prime and Vudu have it, but at between $2 and $3 per episode. Only $30 on Amazon for the whole series (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BC5STNG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). That is some really inexpensive therapy!
Dang that sucks. They probably heard that the office might possibly leave Netflix and knew that people would buy the DVDs
Anyway I found the exact same set of dvds on amazon got cheaper. The Office: The Complete Series https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LTO342M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QtbBCbJRPX1JN. It’s $70.
You can probably find it on eBay for $50 if you search.
You can buy the complete series on Blu-ray for $30 from Amazon. A sound investment, I’d say!

I got it here off amazon and mine isn’t missing any of those... really curious. I’m not missing any episodes actually...
If a subscription service doesn't have it, and you don't want to sail the seas. Amazon has the DVD collection for 18$ right now.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011MUA592/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_GnP3DbVS6JA1N
For the record, OP is talking about the Amazon-exclusive box set of the old 16:9 season Blu-rays, not the 4:3 30th anniversary collector's edition, which as far as I can tell isn't even being offered by any 3rd party sellers on Amazon.
That is the set I sourced the middle images from. At a low price I'd be happy, the "Amazon Collectible" is the same thing just in one box.
The crop is better than in prior releases, but worse in spots like that third image. They have DNR'd the footage and the colours are a bit oversaturated. I'd say pick it up if you aren't willing to spend more on the 30th set or more on the Dragon Boxes.
I find there are many shots in every episode that reveal the invasiveness of the crop. There are many compositions that are clearly designed for the taller 4:3 aspect. It bothered me enough that I spent the money on the 30th Anniversary set, but as many have said it isn't perfect. I do think it is the best release since the Dragon Boxes...And even those lauded DVD sets have their own issues.
I don't know for sure but it seems like it is only on American Netflix right now. If you want to watch it now you could try a VPN or buy it

Cowboy Bebop: The Complete Series Blu-ray and the Cowboy Bebop: Complete Series SteelBook (Available now at Best Buy) are the exact same thing. Same disk content, same disk art even so only the packaging is different. The Steelbook does included a Digital Copy through Funimation though. The standard Blu-ray has been as cheap as $20 on amazon (in Dec) so that might happen again. The Amazon Special edition includes the same disks as the standard Blu-Ray release but also includes the DVD version of the show as well and has a small Art Book and Sketch Book (line art from the show). The Art book is the size of a standard Blu-Ray case and the sketchbook is a little thicker. If you have any questions on the Editions (US) i can help... i own them all.
This is the one I have. I dunno but it looks fine to me. You can also buy them on amazon video and watch it there instead of owning the physical copy.
It seems there were 9 Seasons so, if the price will still the same that would be 314.91 for SD and 350,99 for HD
While you could get the boxset, on BluRay, for ~170 on amazon
Or just choose any streaming service that streams it and pay the monthly subscription. Even if you just watch 1 episode a day you will be done in October and have paid a third of that...
Last year they released the blu-ray. It's the only way you can watch it in 720p (otherwise its like 480p). It's only ~$30 for the entire series.
> it's probably just cheaper to go back to buying the DVDs of the shows you want to watch.
Unlikely. I get your point. it is getting silly as the market fragments but purchasing DVDs of entire series is expensive AF.
https://www.amazon.com/Star-Trek-Generation-Complete-Blu-ray/dp/B00NQXC2YU
That is like 6 months of Netflix
The one I linked is for all three seasons. If you feel like watching Legend of Korra also, you can put down 80 USD for all three seasons of Airbender and all four seasons of Korra and buy this box set.
I concur with the second point. If you can't afford to at the moment but you end up really enjoying the series, i suggest buying the blu-ray of BSG which has a plethora of additional content. It's super worth it. This is the one i bought (and also one of the cheapest, but it's very good quality).
There is a delightful pinned post at the top of the sub detailing various ways to purchase the show.
> iTunes, Vudu, Amazon Digital, Google Play, and Microsoft Movies & TV.
There's also the cheaper DVD Box set, which for some reason beyond me isn't in the pinned list.
Not regional, from a specific DVD set. This one
Link if the other doesn’t work: https://www.amazon.de/Avatar-Last-Airbender-Complete/dp/B011MUA592/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85Z%C3%95%C3%91&qid=1543919774&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=avatar+the+last+airbender+dvd&dpPl=1&dpID=51zgmE6...
Yes, Best Buy should have it. If not you can get it on Amazon for $30.
Uglier box (IMO) on the EU one. Not ugly enough to pay extra for the US release though.
Also, the EU one is on Amazon as well, if you'd rather order from a site you know.
