From my understanding Bison, Curt and Arksen are all the same rack with different branding. I found a Arksen on eBay and received a brandless rack.
amazon.

Some cheapo temporary crossbars for the ski season. They do well with ski racks and smaller cargo but I'm planning on upgrading them soon. Amazon Link
I have these
Nice quality, good price, easy to install and use, etc. And they lock for what it's worth...not that someone with a drill couldn't take them but still a good deterrent.
the exact dimensions are 64"x39"x6" I went with a cheaper amazon one Leader Accessories. Used black silicone and some rust oleum bed lining paint to prevent rust.
They are not Thule. They are these. Perfectly stable and excellently priced. Super easy to install as well.
Crossbars are stock on the car, the basket is Leader accessories 64x38x5 rack (put the Amazon link below), and the lights are NiLight spotlights with the NiLight wire harness. Also NiLight bar mounts to mount onto the basket

I'm going with a curt cargo rack
And mounting 2 fork mounts to the cargo rack
I have a radrunner1 and a radrunner plus. Using rachet straps to tie them down.
I can use the cargo racks for other things which is why I went with it.
It's basically like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DK4J1CC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_FJr8Fb87RN732
I just removed the bolts from the top and tightened the hose clamps and it took the form of the roof. Then sunk self tappered screws in to lock it in place. I also ended up with 8 hose clamps on each side, and they rate at 1100lbs of tensile strength each.
They are indeed identical. Josh bought his from Walmart, it is branded as a Reese Carry Power I believe and was about $99. I purchased mine through Amazon for ~$80, this is the link: https://www.amazon.com/Highland-1041900-U-Venture-Rooftop-Basket/dp/B007GMHTQ8
Edit: Walmart version link here http://www.walmart.com/ip/Reese-Carrypower-UVenture-Rooftop-Cargo-Basket/24087297
That looks like the Highland that you can get on Amazon.
I've got one as well.
Which rails are you talking about? The crossbars or the actual rails themself?
I got a decent set of cross bars off of Amazon and I so far they work great. I'll try to find the link and add it for you.

This is definitely what I’d do, for sure. We hunt a managed group hunt every year, and I’d say at least half the folks show up with small vehicles that have tow hitch carriers on them. One of the guys just ties his deer onto the roof of his sedan lol.

I have the same Apex roof rack/basket. Its pretty awesome and covers most of the roof.

Lights: Amazon lights, unfortunately the ones I got are not available any more, but you could go with any amazon light you wanted.
I use this carrier. Enough room to hold my fully assembled paramotor and a gas can. Just attach some sort of tube to it that you can slide a wind sock in if you want to.
late is better than never??? 🙃 CargoLoc 2-Piece 52" Aluminum... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GA2HKAU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Must say - only bought these for slinging a kayak back and forth and for Looks🤪 and expected absolutely nothing for $40 and terrible reviews HOWEVER - They have held up all summer long and haven't budged since first installing. The whistle is a gentle reminder that Im going 40 mph on backroads, cus honestly in this car I need one lol
Thanks for posting this. I went with a very similar carrier and I think the same bag. I added reflective tape to the back and sides since my carrier doesn't have the lights. It is easy to use and I think it won't be as hard to store as a roof top carrier since it is very slim.

I got this one and it's perfect and has all the right features. I guess the only thing different is that it weights more

I used CURT 18110 48 x 20-Inch Tray... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JF53ZEE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share with this CURT 18110 48 x 20-Inch Tray... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JF53ZEE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. Basically no hit to efficiency. Stuck with 1 1/4.
Amazon. I got mine a few years ago for $35, a total steal. But you can easily find sub $100 ones that are essentially the same design and specs: https://www.amazon.com/MaxxHaul-70107-Hitch-Compact-Carrier/dp/B008CE0LD2/ref=sr\_1\_12?crid=3FRE435CXOYXK&keywords=trailer+hitch+carrier&qid=1650293697&sprefix=trailer+hitch+%2Caps%2C1741&sr=8-12
I have the curt foldable one and like it. It is sturdy hard steel with a decent space. Definitely a little awkward to maneuver but doable solo. Folding function is very convenient. I use it for traveling mostly but very useful transporting anything else I don’t want in my car like soil etc. I also have the Rola bagfor road trips and can fit a good amount in it. Protects from the rain pretty well but in a heavy storm in definitely let in just a little water. I keep that in mind for future packing.
I just ordered this
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00JF5LRN0/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A76IUWBQEDWBF&th=1
If I put the bike diagonally, I think it will *mostly fit.
I’ve got a cargo basket similar to this one, which is both hitch-mountable and hitch-mountable. I haven’t done it yet, but backing into superchargers would be extremely annoying (if even possible).
Here you go! Rack
It’s just this one from Amazon.
Be warned: it is - get this - not waterproof! It is known to immediately start rusting. Knowing this, I applied silicone to every joint and nook where water could get in. Then I sprayed Plastidip on the entire thing, extra heavy on those joints and nooks. After a few months - including Seattle’s winter - there is one spot that’s got surface rust. I’ll have to clean that off and reapply the silicone and Plastidip.
Don’t have one personally but have had my eyes on this one

I got these for my sportage and it works fine (got 52inch version) https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GA2HKAU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Used it for a kayak and some other things.
It sits slightly up on the side rails as it cannot clamp underneath them if that makes sense.
