A link to buy, for ~~those interested~~ literally everyone who watches the video.
Warning: redonkulously expensive. Don't get your hopes up.
This won't kill your budget, and it's not the easiest in the world to use. But it works very well. https://www.amazon.com/GIWOX-Hologram-Advertising-Display-Holographic/dp/B077YD59RN
This being by fifth reply to this thread, I sound like a shill. But I've seen these and used these and created videos for them, and they literally do look better in person than any video I've seen online.
I want you all to believe. BELIEVE!
As someone who stays in a hotel 4 nights a week, I gave up on relying on the hotel TVs from having the ability to utilize an open hdmi port and got myself a nebula projector and tripod.
It’s about the size of a coke can and runs android tv os so I’ve got Netflix, Hulu, dtvNow etc. It also supports airplay and what ever android calls it’s version. I use it as a second monitor when I work from the hotel.
I also picked up s micro router for those hotels who have Ethernet in the room. No more signing into 10 diff devices, and now airplay works.
I’ll edit later with links.

I did buy a portable projector but imma use it more for a personal turndown tent.
GoT is on Sunday. Just live out Coachella's last night, and watch it at a civilized location on Monday night.
This is pretty amazing! It looks like they are using a pair of holographic display fans.
At those prices though... this is either a very talented modder, or a very wealthy cosplayer.
I did quite a bit of research on projectors before I bought this one. But I have been really surprised with how great it is. Runs full hd and looks really great. On the top end of your budget but I strongly recommend it. Optoma HD146X High Performance Projector for Movies & Gaming | Bright 3600 Lumens | DLP Single Chip Design | Enhanced Gaming Mode 16ms Response Time https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0842QPR1Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_0K3VA3C44RREQPZMHREV?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Not quite... They're $800+ on Amazon. Check it out for yourself (BenQ W1070 1080P 3D Home Theater Projector (White) here
'05 MSRP of $9K was due to the resolution I imagine. Huge resolution for back in those days.
The lamp cost alone is reason to steer clear, but also the lumens wont do you well at all.
I would recommend doing your research and answer all the questions you have. Check the resale markets, but generally, people paid too much for the decent used projectors and think they deserve half or more of what they paid. There are deals, but beware and do your research.
I just bought an optoma gt1080 for $620 on Amazon. it's 2800 lumens and 1080 native but short throw and that may not be what you're looking for.
For $700, you should have tons of hd options, with lumens that will blow that old boy outta the water. And if you're not in a hurry, the halloween and thanksgiving sales should bring some huge bargains.
Good luck!
Amazon? You are probably better off trying keyboards at your local Best Buy though. Clicky Razer is the equivalent of Blues, Silent Razer are Browns, and Corsair are Reds. I highly recommend not to buy one of those, but they should give a feel for the different switch types.
CM Storm QFR or Ducky One TKL are the best TKL options with a budget of $100.
You might need to increase the budget to $600- $700. I own an Optoma GT1080, and it's really good for the price ($675ish on Amazon). It's a short throw DLP projector, and the bulb has over 1,000 hours and shows no sign of giving out. If you need a regular throw version, Optoma, BenQ and Viewsonic all have a few models in the $500-$700 range with great reviews. Unless you have a dedicated theater room and need the very best, I think that budget with get get you a really good (not great) projector.

If u wish u can find other sources to buy than amazon tho
I use a pico projector which I bought from Amazon and swear by it! I have had it for 2+ years and never had any trouble with it.
You do need to purchase a tripod plus a converting cable. I have no idea what the cable is - my brother got it for me when I got confused haha. It could be an HDMI to apple one but don't quote me. But beyond that it's super self explanatory and a huge life saver :)
It’s so amazing! So this is obviously from another bakery, but I use an (I think Insignia) and this projector
I love it, it's a fine a balance to quality ratio. In a pure light controlled room, that is all you need. if I had to replace mine I would get this:
Optoma HD146X High Performance Projector for Movies & Gaming | Bright 3600 Lumens | DLP Single Chip Design | Enhanced Gaming Mode 16ms Response Time https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0842QPR1Z/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i_cv0NFb0APG101
It's a slight upgrade from mine and more than enough for movies and UFC nights (which is mostly what I use for so 1080p is sufficient). However, if your looking for 4k, you'll need to go north of that.
Here's one on Amazon for $10. It's the one I have right now and it makes for a great stress ball. Cheers!
They aren't that difficult to come by, Amazon has the basic 4 for $10. Max Keyboard Keycap, Cherry MX Switch, O-Ring Sampler Tester Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E71W4O8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_AEtezb7JADR54
Edit: 9 switch tester for $18. Akwox 9-Key Cherry MX Switch Tester, Keycap puller, keyboard Keycap, O-Ring Sampler Tester Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GZHU1EG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_ZyuezbTNBCSFB
Thanks for the suggestion! The one in the screen shot just happened to be the most popular one in the gaming category so it’s on top. I’d be looking at a 4K one for gaming eventually just thought I’d check some prices right now. Currently, I have an Optoma that I got from amazon a few years ago for about $500 if I remember right. Don’t have any complaints.
According to Amazons page for the Amazon Glow, it has video calling.
https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Glow-Learning-Bundle/dp/B09DWNZQYM
The Amazon Glow has a privacy shutter. Here is what Amazon says: "Designed with privacy in mind – Instantly disable cameras and microphones on the device by simply closing the privacy shutter." It's on the side of the device.
So, if you wanted, you could close the privacy shutter without unplugging the device. The privacy shutter will block out any malicious activity by anyone.
A Glow can only connect to the Glow App. Your ex has the Glow App, your kid has the Glow device. There's no Alexa connection at all, as I understand it.
One reason your ex might want it plugged in all the time is because the Glow is typically sold with a subscription to Amazon Kids+. He probably would like those kids' activities to be available to your kid. Some require an internet connection for the kid to use.
Another reason might be so he can try to call his kid when he has the time to do so. Otherwise, he has to call you first.
Having said that, it's your house. If you want to unplug it, then unplug it. You are the king of your house.
You can read more about the Glow here: https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Glow-Learning-Bundle/dp/B09DWNZQYM
Persistance of Vision might play a role. It's basically a property of your eye that means certain inputs, especially bright lights, persist in your perception for longer than they actually do. For example, CRT TVs work on this principle, and so do those cool hologram fans.
Gotcha. Here's the link to Amazon where the projector was purchased new. Not the HDR one, those lamps last 15k hours.

I use this one, but I’ve heard mixed reviews on it. It works well for me (although it does act weird when trying to turn it on, but once it’s on it’s good), https://www.amazon.com/AAXA-Technologies-KP-101-01-Projector-built/dp/B005TAXDPK
Hey everyone,
So I installed this around eight months ago. It was in the category of "eh, good enough I'll get to it later, it's not that bad." but now is the time where I get it straight. It is a t is a this kind of projector
From projector to screen it is 134in.
From projector to floor is 60in1.1.
From bottom of projector to floor 34in
The keystone is set at zero as well.
Ive seen cheap versions done with the raspberry pi but nothing that would meet that quality.

Or, stay with me, he bought it here: https://www.amazon.com/GIWOX-Hologram-Advertising-Display-Holographic/dp/B077YD59RN
Those have been commercially available for awhile. Buying things isn't really "next level"
I have this micro projector and mostly use it for cookie and cake decorating. But you could project an image onto a wall to trace. It will project up to a 60" image. I think it works really great! And has always served me well. The only issue I've had with it is that you can't charge it and use it at the same time. It has to be charged and not plugged into a power source to use.
It's about $125 so it may be more expensive than what you are wanting.

it's true that they technically aren't powerful enough to damage your vitreous if you glance into it, but it was at full blue max and I stared in a drunken stupor for about a second and a half. enough that I could literally see things being burnt to a nice circle with a crispy edge ....
it was a surreal experience.
it was this one: maybe it's because it was a short throw projector, and I had it very far away from the wall and was wondering why it wasn't working.
