1) Declutter
2) Get some frosted window film and apply it to the glass doors in your desk cabinets. That way you can hide away your clutter without anyone seeing it.
3) Whatever the ribbons and stuff on the wall are, they need to be moved. You might consider putting a big slab of cork board where they are hanging too...to give you a spot to attach important papers, reminders, photos etc etc
4) Your bookshelf is overloaded at the top, and virtually empty at the bottom. Evenly distribute the weight so that the boards don't sag. Fill in any extra space on the shelfs with the knick knacks that are currently cluttering your desk.
5) mount a hook somewhere to hang your earphones
6) Consider getting a monitor mounting arm for your PC monitor. The Amazon Basics Single Arm monitor mount is 100 bucks, but its built like a tank. Being able to move the monitor and have it floating gives you more usable desk space and it would allow you to move your monitor directly in front of your webcam in case you needed to show someone something on the monitor during a video chat.
7) I would consider replacing the desk lamp with something that puts all the light directly on the desk. You have a floor uplight in the background giving you plenty of indirect light. You don't need to stare at a lit up globe all day on your desk too
To anyone that has an unfrosted window in their shower, you can buy window frost film. Been there, done that.
This is the one we used but it was my moms purchase and she splurged a little more than some can, I know there's cheaper options available as well!
There are actually some really cute window decals that act as privacy screens! There's the basic frosted glass look or the crystal/rainbow look, like this.
No kidding. I'd hate to live next door to these two.
OP, you seem to think the barking is cute for reasons that aren't clear to me. If you change your mind, this stuff can be hugely helpful for managing dogs barking at stuff outside.
Put up a translucent piece of plastic/film, so people can't see thru the windows but light still gets in?
Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Coavas-Adhesive-Frosted-Bathroom-17-7by78-7/dp/B00XHXU7PU
Stuff like this is perfect for that. It not only provides privacy, but it still lets light in and doesn't leave any nasty residue so it's great for renters.
Maybe it's time for a little guerrilla redecoration?

Here’s a link to the exact film my gf bought. It works very well to distort the transparency of the window in our front door and also looks hella pretty and dope 🤘🏼
And there are ones that look very pretty and reflect rainbows if you're into that sort of thing. Pretty sure they're removable if you're renting.
Suggestion, consider putting this privacy film on your bathroom window. The rainbow light that filters through is extra magical.
Check out the reviews with photos of the light shining through.
You need something like this for your window, privacy film. It’ll keep your room bright when the windows are open but no one will be able to see inside. Plus, rainbow sparkles.
Not sure if this might help but we bought this window film for a small window in our apt: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MTA00AX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_-cjjBbZ140X1T
It lets soft light to come through and isn’t hard to put on either.
It seems like you have a decent grasp on what to do next, but in the meantime I’m of the opinion that you should have your windows blocked at all times. It seems like someone is watching you. There is this rainbow window film that you can cover your windows with for privacy, and as a bonus it tosses pretty rainbows around the room when the light comes through. I hope this creep gets what he deserves… stay safe💕
We just upgraded from wax paper on windows facing or neighbors to this rainbow prism privacy film. It was because the kiddos saw it in a video and demanded we upgrade.
Link below. FWIW, works best if the window gets direct sunlight. A bit pricey so the near free cost of wax paper is a much better solution, but not as pretty

Definitely look into this, especially now that you know there are children nearby. The laws are ludicrous but it would be insanity to become a registered sex offender because of snooping neighbors. Also they make stickers that make your window frosted but allow light in. You can stick those on lower windows and leave the uppers so you can see the sky.
I don’t see that anyone has linked any window privacy film yet, but your daughter might like this iridescent window film.
My sister has this stuff up on the bottom half of one of her living room windows and there’s still lots of light, but also rainbows!
Amazon sells rolls of privacy film for that front door.

It was a cling film I bought off of Amazon. This is the one I bought, but there are all sorts of patterns.
My husband got mirrored film and applied it to all of our windows. It cut the electric bill waaaaaaay down, since the AC isn't fighting the sun.
I think he got it at Lowes, but it was like this stuff.
You’re a liar.
I have that EXACT same pattern window film on all three picture windows in my living room. You can even see the edge of the film at the bottom of the window, where you cut it too short. You most likely bought it on Amazon like I did.

I really recommend window film (the static cling ones, not the adhesive type), since it blocks your view and gives you privacy like blinds or curtains, but still lets in natural light, so your apartment doesn't feel like a cave all the time. I use a rainbow film by Rabbitgoo I got off of amazon for like 20 bucks, and I really recommend it. Also agreeing with everyone else, keep your windows closed
Not op, but I recently bought and used this. You can't really see out of it because of the design, but that means people also can't see inside. And it makes nice little rainbows inside the house in the late afternoon, which is really nice. It lets me open my blinds and have plenty of light coming in without feeling like everyone is watching me. It was easy to cut to size with a razor blade and easy to install. I haven't tried removing it yet, but I don't see why it would be difficult. The material itself isn't sticky or anything, just kind of staticky. You just spray water (I actually used window cleaner) and slap it on. I recommend.
It's a privacy window cling I bought from Amazon. I love it, when the light hits it right it casts rainbows everywhere.

They make "frosted window film" which is just a sheet of vinyl you cut to size, rinse it with water, and then slap on the window. You just peel it off when you move out (or you get tired of it) - it's not permanent and doesn't hurt the window.
The good thing is that it lets in a ton of light; the bad thing is that it blocks your view.
It's like $7 on Amazon, but Home Despot or Lowe's will have it too. There are varying levels of fuzziness and colors, so shop around.
I’m coming in with a management tip, not actual training advice. Try removable “frosted glass” privacy window film on your windows. It lets the light in, but obscured any movement/people until it gets very close. Choose one with a high opaque-ness. There are tons on Amazon and can also buy them at Home Depot/other stores, and they come in a lot of pretty patterns if that’s your thing. It will greatly improve your sanity.

Yep, DC Fix Milky or Sand (same thing) is still the preferred choice. On a tightly-focused light, it can cut throw roughly in half and is 98% efficient.
Amazon is the best source if you're in the US. That's roughly a lifetime supply for $10, so if you're NOT in the US, you might be able to find someone willing to mail you a scrap of theirs for less money.
Correct, not a sphynx owner yet just prone to sunburn myself + I have a light colored kitty at home 😅 I use a window film from Amazon that has the added bonus of making cute rainbows inside... here is the film
I would get DC fix (also available in smaller amounts) instead of messing with the reflector or lens in case you want to revert back to stock. Some translucent scotch tape would also work but absorb a bit more light.
