Same. I have these which I do like though. The side pockets are nice and fit a phone without it sliding out while you’re running.
i currently have a pair off amazon, they’re not exactly high waisted but they sit high enough to stay up on my stomach without rolling too much. they are the KIPRO brand shorts. They also have really cool colors that look really nice under the colorful lights! As far as shorts, I usually wear a loose racer back tank top or a cropped tank top that way I have access to my hips and sides for some of the moves. It might also help if you invest in some knee pads for long term poleing, but those are a little hard to find if you have big legs.
For the shorts, I’m a XXL and a US 18 and carrying a lot of weight in my butt and thighs so the shorts do the roll up between the thighs thing. My sister is a US 14 and wearing a XL! She takes the classes with me! Good luck!
Capezio makes dance shorts. I have their straight across and boy short. I think I'm up to 2x Vfront, 3x straight across black, 1x purple, 1xtan/nude https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002KIBLI0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_rQcNCbDAK14VC
I size up 1 size from my regular to avoid panty lines since I'm not wearing them over a leotard.
They are actually yoga shorts! Super freaking comfy and super great for under a skirt!

Found these from another post awhile back, big sweaters are also cute
These Colorfulkoala ones on Amazon get amazing reviews! (They're 6" though) I have five pairs of their leggings and love them all! Their website will have tons more colors and sizes, but they have low stock due to Covid too.
sure! https://www.amazon.ca/Baleaf-Womens-Control-Workout-Pockets/dp/B074SJS6B5/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=baleaf+shorts+women&qid=1663560935&sprefix=balea%2Caps%2C152&sr=8-5 i bought a lot of different styles from this company Baleaf.
If you aren't able to get these, just try a generic compression workout short and see if it helps you with your pain
I don't like shorts for OTF (I feel too exposed on the floor and the rower), but I am distance runner year-round and mostly wear Oiselle Rogas (regular, lightweight and toolbelt, but all standard length) and these shorts off Amazon. They're both 4-inch, and I have short, curvy legs. They're not booty shorts or short tights, but they're also not blousy.
I have legging shorts things that have pockets on the sides (like full length leggings). This makes it less awkward when I have to retrieve the pump to bolus.
these shorts and this bra were comfy af
I live in Florida and have this problem with shorts frankly just walking around in the hot humid summertime, much less on the bike. Getting longer shorts fixed the issue for me as I'd never owned bike shorts before and just did generic workout shorts in the past! I really like this brand on Amazon. They have 8 and 9" options though honestly the 5" work well for me (the 4" did NOT). I like that they have pockets on both sides... I wear these pretty much all day every day.
High waisted compression shorts fixed the issue for me as well. I even found some with pockets on the legs to carry my phone and keys.

These are great!
Old navy has really soft leggings which i love! I have also been living in these shorts for WFH this summer ( Baleaf Bike Shorts)
Yes! That’s also my body size and sometimes my thighs chafe during running. I picked up a pair on these from Amazon. They’re long (take up most of my thighs) but never ride up!
Baleaf 8” yoga shorts on Amazon. They’re awesome and have pockets for your phone etc.
They don’t but your best bet is eBay. You can find brand new things for cheaper than WMTM.
Or amazon has pretty good dupes. These ones are very similar to lululemon: CRZ YOGA Women's Quick-Dry Athletic Sports Running Workout Shorts with Zip Pocket - 4 Inches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DLRBPPJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_PmlVEb9SNFE7T
They’ve even got the back pocket and the stitching on the butt that the authentic do. Heard people say they like these better. Queenieke also has pretty good dupes.
Compression or bike shorts are meant to be tight around your thighs. I wear the longer style, 8” Baleaf from Amazon.. They fit really well and have pockets on both sides. I’m about a size 12 and the larges work for me.
