Can personally verify this skirt is very spinny and fits well
I can hook you up! I've found the Amazon brand Feminique is great in terms of squishiness and roundness. They're pretty cheap compared to everything else, and look mighty convincing under clothing.
This is the shirt https://api-shein.shein.com/h5/sharejump/appsharejump?currency=USD&lan=en&id=729770&share_type=goods&site=andshus
Here is the skirt. It's a MUST HAVE. Urban CoCo Women's Basic... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014FA0NB6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Work it!
Here you go! It's literally the first thing that comes up when you search "skirt" so I'm guessing that is why a lot of us get it
Could a body tape like this work? https://www.amazon.com/Fearless-Tape-Double-Sided-Fashion/dp/B01K2CMFVM
This type of product is what women doing pageants with a swimwear category use so they don’t end up flashing anyone and keep the suit in place.
I use this for costume with a similar cut as what you’re describing when I was in a play.
Also echoing the other comment, you should leave a bad review / see if you can get any refund on alterations
It looks like you don't need a whole lot of support, just nipple coverage? If so, and if the cups are sewn on top of the lining, you could carefully remove them yourself and just use stick on covers like these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PU9A9Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I use them all the time, and they are SO comfortable, you won't even know they're there. I'll be using them on my wedding day (I have a similar neckline to yours, also backless).
I got this one and like it quite a bit.
it goes spinny
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014FALWES/
Lots of color options, seems of pretty decent quality. Reaches down to about 1-2 inches above my knees when worn just above my hipbones
Search 'bra liners' on amazon and a variety will come up! I'm having trouble making a link, but the ones I use are
Antibacterial Bamboo & Cotton Bra Liner (3-PK, M) - No irritation, Rash Guard https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1XB05Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_08AECb38R104B
My only complaint is that they aren't as wide as the picture shows and need a bit of adjustment throughout the day. Other than that I love them! Washes easily and is holding up well. I've rotated the same three for about a year. They come in different colors and size is based on length. Mine go from where the cup meets the band to the other side.
NIPPIES Women's Adhesive Nippies Skin Covers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001PU9A9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_QHPJA8CG9E1GY65546KR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I recommend these to everyone —simply amazing to say the least. I’ve only had one top that these showed through slightly, but even then, you couldn’t really tell unless you were fixated on my boobs lol. If you know what the Sunday Best best-selling tops feel like (Bliss, Honor, Skyfall), these are even good for those.
My favorite is a brand of silicone nipple covers from amazon. Reusable, simple adhesive, and can’t be seen.
Nippies Skin ORIGINAL Hypoallergenic Nipple Covers Pasties with ADHESIVE CREME COLOR https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001PU9A9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_n6oDBbK5M1FMH
I really love these Nippies ones - they come in two sizes, and different skin tones, as well as adhesive and non-adhesive varieties. The adhesive variety usually lasts me about 6 months, if I wash them with soap/water and air dry them after each wearing.
These are the liners my sister and I like. Just be sure to flatten them out to dry. It keeps them from bunching weirdly.
Can't recommend the Simple Wishes pumping bra enough. I just pull up my shirt, unclip or pull down whatever I have on as a bra or undershirt, and zip the bra on. It takes like ten seconds and allows me to get a ton of work done while pumping. It's around $30 and has held up really well for me. They sell the same one at Target (branded as Lansinoh) but it doesn't come with the extra extender thing included like the Amazon one does.
When my SIL had her baby a month after I had mine, she unexpectedly had to start exclusively pumping her first week PP, and I bent over backwards to deliver her one of these bras the day she started. That's how essential it is to me! She bought a second one the next day.
Aside from pumping bras, you could also consider Pumpin' Pals. They allow you to lean back when you're pumping instead of having to awkwardly hunch forward. I haven't tried them myself but I've heard good things.
I would HIGHLY recommend this one: Medela Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump with On-The-Go Tote
The tote looks just like any bag, the pump stays right in the side of the bag all the time, super convenient. Enough room in the bag for extra batteries, the plug, lots of bottles, tops, cleaning supplies etc.
I used this with two kids, and I took it to a law firm constantly where I work and no one ever had any idea it was my pump. It also comes with a little cooler and ice pack for the bottles you pump, which is also discreet and can go right into the fridge.
Here is the link to it at Target, but you can get it anywhere: https://www.target.com/p/medela-pump-in-style-advanced-breast-pump-with-on-the-go-tote/-/A-10762141?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Baby+Shopping&adgroup=SC_Baby&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=c&am...
I also bought a pumping bra on amazon, which held both of the pumps up to my breasts making the whole thing hands free and able to pump both sides at once. Completely necessary, a lifesaver.
It looked something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Simple-Wishes-Signature-Pumping-XS-Large/dp/B00295MQLU/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1516809760&sr=8-3&keywords=pumping+bra
I love these ones that you can order on amazon. They are reusable and work really well!
The ULTIMATE NippleCovers | NIPPIES SKIN Light Color - Sticky ADHESIVE Pasties, Size 1 A-C CUPS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001PU9A9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WkkPCbBKBFWV3
A great starter pair imo....though I recall them being half the price when I bought them 🤔
If that doesn't work, it's Urban CoCo Women's Basic Versatile Stretchy Flared Casual Mini Skater Skirt
I'm a 34B and have been going braless more and more since I worked from home during the pandemic and rarely wore a bra then.
I don't mind bras, but I have a hard time finding ones I like. I was heartbroken to discover that Maidenform discontinued my favorite t-shirt bra a couple of years ago, and I've been putting off the torture of finding a new brand while my bras get older and saggier.
Actually, I got these stick-on, silicone nipple covers and wore them with a tight top and found I loved it! I'm uncomfortable showing off my nipples, but I was surprised to find myself perfectly comfortable with the natural shape of my breasts under a tight shirt that provides a little lift: Bristols 6 Inc Women's Adhesive Nippies Skin Covers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001PU9A9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_glt_i_1R78ZWHGF073F5BT96ZC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Also, paradoxically, I love wearing longline bras with my 1950s vintage dresses; they are quite the opposite in terms of free-boobing it with nipple covers, but I love the shape they give me, and vintage-inspired undergarments are really the only way to make vintage garments look right (even more critical for historical fashion): https://ragoshapewear.com/products/rago-style-2202-long-line-firm-shaping-expandable-cup-bra?variant=19167755468911
Overall, I think my body and lifestyle allow me to see bras as more of a foundation tool than critical for my comfort (I know it's not that way for many breast-having folks.) I like bras' ability to give me the shape/look I want. If I don't desire a particular shape, I often go without! Never while sleeping, and always a sports bra for working out. It hurts to have them bounce around. My husband and I got caught in the rain the other day on a walk and I was in a pickle trying to run home holding both my tits and my hand over my glasses.
🙋 I'm a year out (tomorrow!) and my boobs started about the same size as yours. There was no whipping out that was gonna happen with these ladies. I've really liked these bras from Amazon:
Women's Full Cup Lightly Padded Wirefree Maternity Breastfeeding Nursing Bra Size L, 3PCS/Pack(Pink-Black-Beige) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EFNPD7W?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
You can leave the padding in for some more coverage or take it out for more flexibility in pulling the cup down. I've been wearing the same set of 3 since I was pregnant and they're holding up well.
Nursing tanks were also great especially in the beginning. Target has some decent ones, but I didn't love them, they were cut a bit narrow at the top for me. Nobody really wants nursing boob side boob lol.
I also experimented with the one up one down method. Basically you layer a tank under your shirt. Shirt goes up, tank goes down. You can make it a one stop shop with a nursing tank or just use a loose cami that can slide down or even just live under your boobs. This way your stomach is covered. Baby's head will cover most of the exposed boob as well.
My babe was born in June in the south so it was super hot to be wearing two shirts all the time. Most often, I would use a cover or a muslin and just hike my shirt up, unclip my bra and be half naked under the cover.
In lieu of a double nipplectomy, you could try these reusable silicone pasties.
I had a pack of disposables (designed for runners to prevent chafing) but these are reusable and come with their own travel case. And I'm a sucker for travel cases.
Also: My very first post on /r/TacticalGear is about nipple pasties.
I have these and I really like them. I'm 6 feet tall and they're supposedly 30 inches before stretching. They go far above my knees, which is much better then the other kind I got (a pack of 4 that barely went to my knees). Hope this helps
Spectra and Medela pumps are both pretty reliable. There’s one called Willow that is a wearable pump but otherwise people often buy a hands-free pumping bra separately (this was the best one that I used). Freezer bags are sold separately as well and doesn’t matter which brand, doesn’t have to be the same brand as your pump
I bought them off of Amazon. They were cheap and comfy as my boobs grew bigger and bigger.
I’m two months PP now and I’m starting to get my milk supply back (baby in the NICU, pumping sucks) and I had to buy more bras in a bigger size. I didn’t wanna spend a lot of money on bras yet since my boobs just have not stopped growing.
Here’s the bras I got:
HOFISH 3PACK Full Bust Seamless Nursing Maternity Bras Bralette S-XXL with Extra Bra Extenders & Clips https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EFNPD7W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_18K466R19X99F131DRAZ
Here’s the one in the video. I’d recommend black because it helps hide stuff and it goes with everything
Urban CoCo Women's Basic Versatile Stretchy Flared Casual Mini Skater Skirt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014FA0NB6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_3Y4AWJJBBGBVEP6ZSMZK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This is another one I wanna get. It’s a little longer and has ✨Pockets✨
Belle Poque Women's High Waist A-Line Pockets Skirt Skater Flared Midi Skirt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P2N49S8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_145VZWQCDAYEKE9X8TR0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Hey, looks like a really fun build. If you don't plan on really showing any cleavage and are going to have it covered the entire time, Amazon sells breast forms like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015YJ6BJU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They will help give you the shape and movement without costing a lot of money. Also you should probably check out the /r/crossplay subreddit, they have some really good advice over there too for this stuff.
My fav bras right now are nursing bras I bought on Amazon. They are super supportive.
Women's Full Cup Lightly Padded Wirefree Maternity Breastfeeding Nursing Bra Size L, 3PCS/Pack(Pink-Black-Beige) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EFNPD7W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.Tm1Cb68QXZCX
When I was questioning I ordered silicone breast forms and a pocket bra to insert them into. While they were shipping I got worried that I wouldn't like them as much I hoped and I just wasted $80. Well when I got my package and put them on my fears were immediately proven wrong. I felt GOOD, like my body was closer to aligning with what my brain expects it be. I fill out the chest of my girl clothes so I look good as well. Being silicone you can squeeze them and pinch them and they feel like real flesh (through clothes at least). I wear them every day. These are the forms I ordered and this is the pocket bra.
If you have the money I strongly recommend you give them a try.
