I don’t think so, but I don’t feel like it’s a good outfit either ! (I feel mean saying that sorry) it’s giving me southern christian girl who wears cowboy boots with every outfit and is actually very mean under a guise of niceness </3 try adding a chunky belt or some sort of jacket or cardigan! something like this might be good in a leather brown color ! gives it more of a hippie vibe than a country vibe imo
If you want to emphasize your figure more, try a belt shaped like this. Whenever you have an ascending, descending point, or both, the area that the “point” points towards will appear a little larger. So when you really want to emphasize bigger hips, choose a descending point.
Btw you don’t have to choose that specific belt, idk about the quality I was just illustrating the shape. There are probably more fun ones out there with chains or other embellishments! FWIW I love the chain on you too, it gives you a little bit of edge and complements the zipper pull on your top! Which I’m surprised no one mentioned how good the top looks on you, it really pulls the outfit together, is a great color for you, and flatters your upper body.
Well heres the link to the corset: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MUQY512/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_6Y-oFb15C0EPE

What helped me go from jeans and a t-shirt is to work my way into it slowly (also I had a job that required business casual and I hate dress pants).
My go-to was A-line dresses with fleece lined tights. So I was still wearing a dress and "showing" my legs, but I was also wearing opaque tights that you couldn't see through and were super comfy. When it got too hot for fleece lined tights I switched to 20 denier normal tights. When it wasn't right for those, I wore bandelettes to keep my thighs from rubbing together.
I still don't like super tight bodycon dresses or skirts but that's okay because they're just not my thing. I don't feel good or feel like I look good in them. But I look hella cute in A-line skirts and dresses.
As for corsets - they're like so rarely practical, but can be super fun. I got this CHEAP AS FUCKKKK corset for $11 on Amazon. It's SO cute and very good as an uber beginner corset that's more for casual wear than to be a training corset. The ribbing isn't steel bone and the material isn't super swanky, but it's great for a costume or night out and you don't have to worry about ruining something expensive. I got an XL and wear a size 12 dress. If I bought it again I might go up a size to give myself more room to wear thicker shirts or dresses under it for ren faire attire.
Another thing about feeling good in dresses and skirts and fancier clothing is having the right shoes! If you're not wearing shoes that match your outfit, it can further make you feel like you just don't "look right" in the outfit. Flats are a good starting point, chelsea boots with tights are always cute, etc. Honestly just trying on outfits in a department store to find your "look" could probably help tons!
1) Post a pic! I'm a larger man myself, and ordered something off Amazon.
2)This is what I ordered, in a 4x and it fit fairly well.
Ah stupid me, forgot all the important stuff. Corset (underbust) is separate and not part of the top: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LFS8VKW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Bm1gybJ8PVXH7
Faux leather top is Bailey 44 "Tarangire"
Leggings are Lysse vegan leather
Boots are Public Desire via ASOS
well, I got a $20 underbust corset off of Amazon. I'm still figuring out how to lace it up and tie it by myself, but if you're just looking for something simple and cheap, you can get the one I got.
I just bought this thing to wear under my wedding dress. Its a tiny bit tight in the waist but I'm still losing weight (wedding isn't until September so I have time). I think it fits ok at the bust but I feel like my breasts are super jiggly on top. Does this typically mean its not the right fit? I don't think I can't get a cup that is "taller" without the fit underneath changing. Am I making any kind of sense?
