The Olight Perun one or the Skilhunt HB3
I found it on Amazon. The price right now is WAY lower than what I got it for. I got robbed. It's going for about $20 right now, I bought it for about $80. I live in Canada, and the link I gave doesn't ship to Canada. I think THAT's the reason it cost me $80 to ship to Canada from some other person where as the States gets it for $20. That's a 400% markup. Absolutely criminal. Still love the hat, soooooo I'm not gonna complain much. I'd rather not be butthurt whenever I look at my new favourite hat
Another neat thing is that the dirt and blood is applied by hand (not real blood or dirt). So every single hat is unique in the way the blood shows up on the hat. You may have some splatter near the left of the hat, but I'll have it on the right, see? https://www.amazon.com/Clementines-Custom-Blood-Zombies-Unisex/dp/B01N13T0L8/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_193_bs_tr_t_1/140-8600420-5606207?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PD41GVD7RYTGKVASNYZM
These bluetooth headphones/sleepmask are a life saver, they connect to your phone or have a white noise sound feature built in. Got them to drown out my bfs snoring and they saved his life. :p
I like the Olight one (Amazon). You slap the light on there and a magnet holds it in place, then you pull the silicone strap down over it for security. Easy to use one-handed. Works perfectly, and it fits on the Zebralight straps too.
I have come to really love the Olight Perun Mini. I bought it on the father's day sale and it has become a mainstay in my EDC. Wasn't a fan of the head band so I got a headband for the Perun 2000 and it works perfectly, btw.
It's a city - noise happens.
I get how frustrating it can be, I really do.
I'd file a noise complaint (In-Progress noise complaints are handled by the Police Non-Emergency Telephone Number 415-553-0123, 24 hours a day) but I'd also get a pair of these.
They were a godsend when my neighbors were doing construction at all hours.
I have this hat and love it - since my hair can come right out of the top

Obviously that only works for walking/hiking, I don’t think it would be very comfortable to run with. When I run, it’s just in a ball cap and I will add extra sunscreen on the back of my neck.
Anecdotal: I was using these headphones, to go to sleep https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087MDNJ6S/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_W0FFBT9FS4BJNXMQN9A8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
After a while I got slight inner ear ache. So I stopped and it went away. I started using them again and after a while the pain was back. So I stopped all together and it hasn't been back since.
I have some skilhunt bands if anyone wants them, I'll fig them out. Personally I don't like them.
My vote is for the Olight with the rubber STRAP. The rubber ring style is a pain in the butt if you're prone to sometimes use handheld. And if you also leave the pocket clip on your light, it's worse. I just pass the.band through the clip first, then hook it to the mount and pivot to aim. If I want to clip it to my climb harness, removal is simple.
My experience with these bands has been with the zebralight, but I'm pretty sure this light will be the same.
If anyone has a third light mount, or an Olight style that's cheaper, lemme know!?
These are the type of headphones I use. They are comfy to just wear all day long and even sleep in. I used to listen with regular earbuds or over ear headphones and my ears would get sore.
I'm not that bothered by the cold unless I'm doing something particularly intensive (summer is much worse for me because of the humidity where I'm at), but I like this balaclava to help keep my face warm. A thermos of coffee or tea when I'm out also helps a lot - it both keeps me warm and keeps my airways open.
I have this balaclava and I was really impressed with it's ability to keep my nose and mouth (and the air going in) warm without making me feel like I was suffocating. As an added bonus, it doesn't steam up my glasses, either.
If you get the right ones, earplugs aren't uncomfortable. Adjust the volume of your alarm to compensate or get a louder alarm.
I also got an eyemask that has bluetooth speakers in it and play brown noise.
My favorite has been the Mission Multi-Cool/Endura-Cool gaiter.
It's long enough to fully cover your neck, as well as going between your head and the helmet padding.
Material is thin enough to pass a lot of air. Yet, also prevents sunburn. I don't have to wear sunscreen on my neck, even on long summer rides. No sunburn, no jacket collar getting nasty from rubbed-off sunscreen.
You will still want to wash the helmet padding once or even twice per summer, but the gaiter does help a lot.
Okay I understand better.
Honestly, I haven't used The Ordinary products especially their acids. But I do know that they have advisements on what acids to mix and not to mix and when and how on their pages, especially on the products page. I suggest that look at that for guidance if you haven't.
A lot of people have found success with using Vitamin C products or retinol products in removing their discolorations/sun spots/hyperpigmentation. Consider that when you restock your skin supplies.
But make sure you are using a good SPF when doing all this. Also, consider finding a sub visor that really shades your face. I've had success with something similar to this productI've read about people who've successfully removed their dark spots only to have them return because of being in the sun. 😞😩
Hope this helps. Good luck rooting for your success!

I don’t particularly like that brand but the photo shows what it looks like. It works very well as forehead coverage but doesn’t get too hot
Keeps you warm during the day and at night when you sleep. Traps the body heat in your head and shoulders. Can't get through a winter without one.

Check out the Olight H2R head band. It's magnetic and has a quick release strap that holds the light on.

1) Mission Cooling Neck Gaiter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UR4HHC8/
Not appropriate as a face mask, but works really great for cooking you down. I’ve sworn by one for years. I have one right now while I nurse my baby before bed.
2) Ice water foot bath
You don’t realize until you do it how much cooling down your feet will make your whole body feel better.
Invest in and use something like this, take some OTC meds like Aleve, Advil, or Tylenol, maybe apply cold pack to back of your neck traveling to MEPS, and wear loose fitting clothes ... do whatever to improvise, adapt, and overcome your natural higher body temperature to cool down just enough get in the door.
My family all used neck-gaiters. Their really breathable. The ones with elastic are super easy to keep on your face.

I dont recall exactly, but most likely on Amazon. I actually have 2 of them on in that picture, with the outer one being fleece, and I only break that out for the extreme cold. It's a funny balance, I need to stay warm but I also need to make sure I dont sweat.
Edit to add:

That's the mask I usually use, it keeps me covered without making me too hot while being active. I couldn't find the fleece one in my history so maybe it didn't come from Amazon.
here's a link to the more tattered, blood stained hat if you wanted it https://www.amazon.com/Clementines-Custom-Blood-Zombies-Unisex/dp/B01N13T0L8
I never really used anything for my face on my route.. mostly just wore a toboggan. As long as it doesn’t hinder your vision (especially peripheral) I would wear what ever is comfortable for you and keeps you warm. Something like this should work. Amazon - Head Gear
