I found one on amazon here. There's more than one seller but the cheapest one is at $99. Looks like after a fucking year they're starting to become buyable without a markup.
“Ohh this, I got it training archery” it’s actually cooler of an excuse then most.
I’ve worked my share of sketchy jobs in bad hoods, unless you’re tactical GI joe or are paid to fight why worry about it. A bruise won’t make or break a idiots choice to rob ya or try to start something.
Or try these. UV Sun Protection Arm Sleeves - Cooling Sports Compression Multipack Athletic Sleeves for Men & Women - UPF 50 Arm Cover/Shield for Basketball, Running, Cycling, Golf, Baseball & Football https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RZMTCDW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_FehRFb20M8045
Bought one of these for the wife and it seems to work fine. Has a ponytail hole and should cover the temples. Cheap enough to give it a whirl.
I'm sorry you're going through this. You can also try wearing compression sleeves under your uniform shirt. Like this:
I always wear a cap under my helmet. If it's cool, I wear a turtle fur one cap. But all other times I wear a Halo skull cap. Have several just so I can always have a clean one at the ready.
BTW: The last one I bough was in 2016 and still have two in service.
I use a head liner, skull cap whatever you want to call it. No more folded ears, and I don't have to clean the pads as much as I'm not sweating directly on them. I love this thing, and amazingly not hot under the helmet, and I'm in 100 degree weather...
Get one of these and wash that instead. Can’t recommend this enough. No sweat in your eyes (at all) and no sunburn on your head.

First - do NOT cycle without a helmet.
Secondly - skullcap. You can get them on Amazon for like $13. I have this one, it won't make you too hot or sweaty. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PVUR34K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Bonus: they help kill wind noise and can prevent tinnitus.
I have the same problem. The cat ears are an incredible waste of money, don't bother with them.
What has worked best for me is combining a cycling skull cap like this one
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PVUR34K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
With some comfortable wireless earbuds like the (excellent) Jabra 75T
https://www.jabra.com/bluetooth-headsets/jabra-elite-active-75t##100-99093004-15
You can enable hear-through on these which makes it easy to hear outside sounds while minimizing wind noise which is incredibly damaging and can cause hearing loss.
Consider adding the UV sleeves as advice to your post. They are significantly cooler than a hoodie and with a t-shirt over them, you won't be able to see scars on shoulders or anything either.
The ones I have are a bit small (Amazon order and seem to be Asian sizing) so they only really comfortably go up to my elbows without feeling too tight but with a men's style t-shirt over them (the short sleeves are longer) they work fine still. And even as a female it doesn't seem weird to wear a men's shirt. Many women i know prefer the cut of them. 🤷♀️
Something like this is what I mean UV Sun Protection Compression Arm Sleeves - Tattoo Cover Up - Cooling Athletic Sports Sleeve for Football, Golf & Volleyball https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RZMTCDW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_A9DVK6JS5QYDEBVPTVEZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Although they do make whole shirts out of the material too these go with whatever you already own, plus with black ones it isn't going to be obvious if a healing cut bleeds.
I can attest to this working well. I have similar sleeves to this:
I noticed in another comment you said you'll be working in a hot kitchen. These cool your arms down when worn, so getting hot shouldn't be an issue. If anyone asks I guess you could say you get sunburned easily, even when not in direct sunlight.
I saw a reddit post suggesting wearing these inside out
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J1GLF2A?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
Been trying it for a couple days, feels pretty good. Material is totally smooth so there's no fabric grain.
Compression sleeves for lower arms like baseball players and basketball wear could be an option. Come in a couple colors including white and are moisture wicking made to help cool the body down during activities. They come in types the cover wrist to elbow or wrist to biceps so should cover up most of what your worried about.
You’ve got time. I use these and love them.
I want to recommend this product at Amazon
UV Sun Protection Arm Sleeves - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RZMTCDW/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_RJ8KV036GAA2S2X2XKZK
I dont wear sleeves much but I use the following for long sessions when using my equate plus and absolutely love it. Very affordable and comfortable https://www.amazon.com/Aegend-Sleeves-Warmers-Sun-Protection-Assorted/dp/B07C9ZLT23
Hey, I'm an arm aimer (46ishcm/360) and yeah, it's a bit rough. I can use it normally, but it's uncomfortable. I almost always use the Aegend arm sleeves while playing.

Yeah a good running hat is nearly required for winter running. That and a good set of running gloves.
There are the ones I use.
Running Hat
I never really used anything for my face on my route.. mostly just wore a toboggan. As long as it doesn’t hinder your vision (especially peripheral) I would wear what ever is comfortable for you and keeps you warm. Something like this should work. Amazon - Head Gear
Hey!! I finally gave in and got this one for the worst days. Used it today for the first time, worked awesomely. I have a furry headband for when it's not too windy. I need to insulate my whole self in order to survive lmao
I use the VR cover basic set with the foam/pleather facial interface. For the headstrap i use this skull cap if its a really intense game. Earphones I've never had a problem with sweat (that I know of). For that you may want to use oculus earbuds instead.
I have a head about the same size. I use a halo cap under my helmet.
It works quite well.
EDIT: Here's a link https://www.amazon.com/Halo-Headbands-Skull-Cap-White/dp/B00318BKHK/
They have other kinds. I've only tried the one linked above but the other styles probably work well too.
depending on how combat intense/sweaty you are going to be is what I would probably build around. I really hate bodypaint so for me it would be all about minimizing having it.
I would probably get arm/leg covers like this and either paint or attach wires/lights/whatever.
If you are going full robot something like a airsoft mask with some googles would probably be a good base to start, you could even stick a voice changer or a led light that lights up when you talk.

^^ Above is what I got. I purchased a thin one though because I didn't want too much extra material and I wanted it to breath. This is a sports-oriented one, it does a great job wiking moisture and is smooth because it's designed to be worn under a helmet.
My partner has this hat: https://www.amazon.com/Mysuntown-Trooper-Hunting-Ushanka-Windproof/dp/B015E0E3AI/
I can't guarantee that it's 100% vegan since I didn't buy it myself, but it's all polyester as far as I can tell.
i use the https://www.amazon.com/Halo-Headbands-Skull-Cap-Black/dp/B00318BKGQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1509994986&sr=8-1&keywords=sweat+cap&dpID=41vogebE8QL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch and the 6mm fake leather foam pad, i sweat alot but i havent damage my headset yet, the cap helps capture alot of the sweats from your forehead so only your face sweat has any chance to get into hmd. combined with a fan blowing at your play space will help alot. Alot of people ask or wonder, if that skull cap will make you hotter, not really, the fabric on top is very breathable
I've got one of these that I use, and it works great! It also helps keep the HMD clean by keeping the oils or hair products from getting all over the straps.
Also, get yourself one of those sweat band skull cap things that footballers wear under their helmets. It really helped me.
Mine looks like this, although it was much when I bought mine. Halo Headbands Skull Cap Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00318BKGQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_wfdizbKYKTH5Z
Just about any army/navy surplus store should have 100% wool watch caps that range from $10-$15. Or just buy it from amazon.
