I do this! I usually wear some kind of necklace every day and when I’m doing something that’s rough on my hands and not at home, I’ll just hang my ring on my chain. I know there’s specifically made ring holder necklaces out there too! But I just simply use whatever necklace I’m wearing. In my opinion, any necklace works but I’m always more cautious when I’m wearing a necklace that’s on the thinner/daintier side!

I had this same concern so I bought this necklace and wear the necklace at all times. The ring is easy to slip on and off but can’t fall off the necklace accidentally. I do leave the ring off when I’m in the shower but that’s just because the pear shape gets noticing dirty rather quickly so I try to keep it out of hard water.

I keep one of these on my desk and have handed it to students who ask this with an expression of the utmost seriousness.
