As someone in a similar position, I found 100 Side Hustles by Chris Guillebeau to be a good read. No direct answers, but it has a bunch of stories of people who started small businesses while currently employed and not needing to take out huge loans. You probably won't find exactly what you're looking for but I found it to be good for brainstorming what kind of business I want to start.
Are you sure you have no other skills? Give some thought to all the stuff you do other than your job. For instance, if you can cook at even a barely competent level, a few good recipes can make you side money from baking.
Here's a list of 48 side hustle ideas on Chris Guillebeau's website (my favorite is "Get ordained online and earn $300 per wedding"), and he has a book called 100 Side Hustles and a daily podcast devoted to side hustle ideas.
Apologies that 2 of these 4 suggestions touch on HR, but I think you'll see you can use those skills to do something that's not quite HR, and can make you some good money.
Sounds like a 'side hustle', which is great! Perhaps you should check out this newly released book, "100 Side Hustles": https://www.amazon.com/100-Side-Hustles-Unexpected-Quitting-ebook/dp/B07H752CPH
If you don't mind, could you share a link to either of your online portfolios? I, too, am a front-end designer, and would be happy to share other advice, critique, or struggles.
