I have had this for YEARS, about six/seven years or so now, and it's a great little burr grinder. Not the fanciest, but has always delivered consistent grinds for me, and you can get some very fine espresso, and some good medium pour over style and everything in between and beyond, highly recommend this for the price.
Cool. Thanks for the tips. I don't really have my heart set on anything, the above hand grinders just seem to be very popular. I came here to see if the popularity is justified.
I didn't realize electric burr grinders were sold at that price point. I've used hand grinders and I've been trying to convince myself that I'm ok with the effort (even though I know full well how annoying it would be to do twice a day...or if I had guests over!).
Is this your grinder? It's 4 star overall but a lot of 1 and 2 star reviews. Have you had yours for long?
Why would I bite your head off? I'm new here, is this a combative sub?
Thanks. I was initially committed to manual and $175 is just a bit rich for me at the moment, but I'll definitely file the Lido for future consideration.
I came across this inexpensive electric grinder...any thoughts? You think the grind won't be as consistent as a manual at that price?
