That is a very fine choice for a great price! Personally, I went with something slightly more high-end because I knew that it would likely be the only razor I will purchase for many years to come, so spending a bit more was justified to me.
Everyone reacts differently to different kinds of shaving methods.
As some have mentioned: Don't put too much pressure on your skin while shaving.
I gave up on mine after a while and got this Muhle Safety Razor with an additional 100 blades (which are dirt cheap) and I consider it money well spent.
Now I just use it to clean up around my beard, you don't even need any shaving cream.
If it doesn't work out for you change your system.

My shaves do last longer certainly. Before I'd have actual 5 o'clock shadow using a Mach 3, but now it wouldn't be terribly noticeable until around 2-3pm the following day.
