I tried out both the antennas you used as well as these. After some testing, I found that the slightly longer antennas I linked get noticeably better signal strength especially for 5Ghz wifi signal (similar performance as the original Gigabyte antenna that came with my motherboard)
Antennae are just wires in plastic. Any pair would do. Short antennae like these are pretty popular with people at r/sffpc for small form factors

Here’s another that supports 5ghz just make sure with ur mobo that the gain and stuff is supported as well
Get some of these and make it even smaller.

My guy... if you're building a small-form-factor PC, you might as well follow through and buy SFF antennas.
I got this, and it honestly signals better than my sharkfin Aorus antenna. Plus it's cheap. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CNK9BGF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
So I did my research and they are called RP-SMA Male antennas, as long as they are compatible with 2.4g and 5g frequency you'll be fine, longer will yield higher DB gains for a certain direction and will actually perform worse for other directions while shorter are for omnidirectional uses, since I use wired connections for internet and have no fixed directions to use my bluetooth devices I'm going with these
If you buy one that works at 5.8Ghz you may get one to work with 5Ghz, but 2.4Ghz is ~12.5cm long vs ~5.1cm for 5.8Ghz. It won't break anything if you try it, but I would be suprised if it was as reliable as antennas designed for 2.4/5Ghz.
Thanks for the idea! I hate my shark fine Asus. So clunky. How's the reception? My router is in my room.
I was about to get these:

I'm sure they're better than what you got but I'll wait to hear your results.
You can just buy a replacement and they easily screw on/off. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Motherboard-Transmitter-Thinkcentre-Omnidirectional/dp/B08CNK9BGF/
So one of the two sets of short antennas finally arrived and a I got around to doing some quick tests. I didnt do anything too comprehensive but, I figured some people might want to know how they stood up against other options (sharkfin and router antennas from an Dlink 4500 router:
I tested these from about one floor above and 15 meters away from the an AC750 end point (thus the low available max speeds).
Results (lowest recorded speed from each configuration ):

Additional details to note:
Short antennas fluctuated between 325 and 390 mbps while actually holding the strongest and most consistent signal quality
Router antennas signal quality fluctuated often but the speed always was at the maximum speed of 390mbs
Sharkfin...was surprisingly not bad though signal quality was definitely the weakest with this configuration.
Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm actually super happy with how they turned out. I still have one more pair arriving in a few weeks from alibaba. I'll update on that when it gets here.
Also, these are the two items I order since I was too impatient for the right angled versions to arrive from aliexpress, I think most of whats available on amazon should give you similar results.

these are very popular for SFF PCs https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Motherboard-Transmitter-Thinkcentre-Omnidirectional/dp/B08CNK9BGF
Might I suggest some of these WIFI antennae instead?

Much more sleeker than that giant shark fin some of those motherboards come with.
I bought these and I'm quite satisfied with them (but then again, to be honest, I dont really go too far away from my router with my PC on WiFi often though. I use it mostly plugged in with a cable, but whenever I tried moving it, it performed just fine. Soooo take this as you wish):
Is this a prebuilt or did you build it yourself? the antena should have come with the motherboard. If it's not still in the box, you could pickup something like this as a replacement: https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Motherboard-Transmitter-Thinkcentre-Omnidirectional/dp/B08CNK9BGF
You'll need an antenna, I personally hate the ones that come with motherboards as they are too long. I got some of these for mine and they work great.
These are just a hair longer, but I can tell from your question that you should know about them. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CNK9BGF/
I, too, originally ordered the shorter ones that the OP did, but noticed my network speed was ~50% what I used to get with the longer wifi antennas that came with my mobo. Guessing it's due to only supporting 2.4ghz.
Bought this one a couple of weeks ago instead that supports 5ghz and speeds are back to what I expected them to be. Appears to be unavailable at the moment, though.
