Japan is 100v, American devices (110v) will work
For the 220v parts of the world
Just got my enano to Spain as well in a recent move from US. Can't figure out what to get... was about to pull the trigger on this:
2000Watts Travel Adapter and Converter Combo Step Down Voltage 220V to 110V for Hair Dryer Steam Iron Laptop MacBook Cell Phone Travel Adapter Converter for US to UK Europe AU Over 150 Countries https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N1KWMQT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NRT6VM9ADTM8RKWGEATM
Couple quick things.
Power in Kuwait is 220V/50hz. U.S. Power is 120V/60hz.
Most all computers and electronics are rated for 120/240v 50/60hz, so all you need is a physical adapter. Just look on the power supply brick on the cord, and you should see the 120/240v annotated.
But just to be safe, buy this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N1KWMQT
It will not only serve as the physical plug adapter, it will also step-down the 240V to 120v and will run most small appliances.
I always carry one of these in in my pack everywhere I go in the world.
Tell him to enjoy himself, it sounds like he's heading to Kuwait at the right time of year.

You need a step down voltage converter, something like this:
I checked the Essenza Mini manual and it used 1200 Watts. So the converter you need, has to support at least 1200 watts.
Someone actualy just recommend this one to me. But with some digging I found a chunk of people who had their plugs break off.You may also see why I dont trust it. Compare the pictures.
(Also it would take yet another month to ship so... And I cant find any others. Im just fed up with this company, their products, their non existant service and the INSANE amount of added costs and taxes.)
Thank you. But it's not a computer. Like I said in my OP it's an electric toothbrush. It just has a US plug that says 120 V, 60hz.
And when I check descriptions on Amazon most voltage converters say that it can't convert for a low voltage device. Like this one. They even have a picture with a toothbrush crossed out.
