I added a different mat that is also an ESD mat that you plug into an outlet and has a wrist strap, I have an ifixit kit with tweezers but I'll be getting a new one cause I have some missing pieces now and I'll get their cleaning brush kit as well, I added some of the liquid flux and found a helping hands magnetic board with a clamp that also has a magnifying lens.
for the bus wire do you mean something like this? https://www.amazon.com/22AWG-Silicone-OD-Stranded-Insulation/dp/B07T4SYVYG/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1WDFABGT9MW8J&keywords=silicone+bus+wire&qid=1658548172&sprefix=silicone+bus+wire%2Caps%2C203&sr=8-2
The power supply i have came with a kit that is 32.8 ft long and only using a total of about 19ft. I will be using 22AWG wire.
good luck! I hope you're able to get it up and running quickly. I remember I forgot to order an extra cable I needed and had to wait a bit for it to arrive to be able to use the additional torso or arm servos I had purchased... but if you're in a rush, you can usually create your own cables pretty quickly. You just need some wire (the link is for 22AWG, but you might be able to go thinner depending on the use, please double check), heat shrink, and depending on the type of cable you're making, female dupont style connectors, heat gun, and optional crimping tool.
This is the starter soldering kit I bought for $26 when I first dove in to bending and its still serving me well to this day🙂 I also reccomended getting a set of assorted potentiometers, some .22 AWG wire, and some mini toggle switches.
Are you wanting to get into making synths from scratch? Or circuit bending?
If the former you might wanna check out /r/SynthDIY. If the latter, i’d recommend looking for toys / keyboards on ebay that are cheap or commonly used in circuit bending to to start with. Cheap so it’s not a big loss if you break something, and frequently circuit bent because there are tutorials for you to follow online
circuit bending is all about experimentation & creativity, but when you’re starting out it never hurts to have a guide to follow, it’ll help you learn how these devices work so you can start finding bends on your own
I recommend things like the Casio SA series, the Meowsic keyboard, or the Hing Hon EK001

Amazon has lots of silicone wire of various gauges. Like this. I am sure it's also available on eBay / ali / bangood. If you want something more "legit"... (like for your business) then try McMaster-Carr or Digikey.
I used this kit and just cut the wires to length as needed and crimped on terminals. Each button will need a separate positive wire going to one terminal and all the negatives from the other terminals will share the GND terminal on the ipac. Since there isn't enough room on the ipac GND terminal for a separate ground wire from each button you want to daisy chain the button and joystick ground wires to reduce the total amount of ground wires you need to put into the ipac GND termnial. Here is how I wired up my Ipac2 https://imgur.com/a/QsBqsef
I just bought some of this wire And so far it's been great
