What you have there is a knockoff of the Sanwa JLF, but with bat-sticks rather than ball-tops, like they usually come with. If you like the Euro joystick style, you can try getting a Happ/Suzo or IL brand joystick, as this is what actually came in most western-style arcades back in the day. However, the easiest thing to try first is just replacing the springs in those joysticks. The fightstick modding scene is pretty crazy about tuning JLFs to particular desires, so you can get replacement springs in a variety of tensions.
