Pick it on amazon by 360 Direct, it's on huge promotion, with $125 off coupon at $479.99
I think that's all the difference between S9 and S7. You could buy it through amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088W96F7Q
I'm literally at the end of me tether with robot vacuums.
Started with a Eufy C30 (I think) Bouncing around kind. Got it for my new place. Packed up, after a few weeks.
Thought I may as well upgrade a little, as it was refunded. Got a 360 S9, was great until I realised that it was behaving oddly, as if there were things in front of it, realised it doesn't like shadows (I know right? Any shadow, shade, grey, black) at all and wouldn't clean. Shame because the suction was actually really good for out mid-pile carpet. In the end that went back.
After 2 faults, I was already kinda miffed, so really did my research, got something even better, bigger brand - Roborock S5. App was great, voice works great with Google Home. 6 momths in and started making a grinding noise whenever it turned left. Checked everything, no issues. But recorded my phone above the bin to see the brush moving. Turns out that the brush only every moved when it made the grinding noise. - Asked for a replacement, repair. Was told (again for the 3rd time) that I just send it back and they'll refund it.
By this point I'm really miserable. I'm sick of refunds, having to wait and rebuy. By this point the Roborock cost even more to buy again.
Finally just thought fuck it, lets just go for the brand leader, high end quality, solid device - Roomba, I7.
Spent 12 hours! Letting it roam around, as no LIDAR, recording where It's going without the suction on, just a map creation bit - Constantly disconnecting, asking to reboot all the time. Said it had the latest firmware, it didn't. Couldn't connect to servers, tried everything.
Finally Got the map storted, added rooms, added no-go-areas (Oh, there's no option for no-go-lines FWI), got it hoover the bathroom, it was really loud still, could barely hear the suctions. Couldn't find its way back properly, more disconnections. Ended up resetting it all. Again, map scanned in. Got it to go to the kitchen AND IT CRASHED! Couldn't reboot, press any boots, map offline.
I'm just fed up, they're not worth the hassle. All the money spent, upgrading and going to better qualty, doesn't mean it's better. Roomba IMO are a hot mess, they're THE WORST! Cheap China ones have higher suction and better features. Can't even have multiple users! WTF
I'm sending the i7 back today. I've literally looked at every one you can get, the only one that I could potentially try is the Deebot T8 (Pure), Or, I might just buy a cheap vac for £50 and go on a piss up!
