3M has a pressure activated automotive adhesive tape for trim.

I (accidentally) discovered that if you use permanent mounting tape, (something like this. it won't come off accidentally. I had to use a solvent to remove it from my windshield.
May be a bit overkill, but it definitely works.

I am planning to use this. I’ve used it on other non Hue light strips, sensors, you name it...outside in 110+ degrees F down to freezing. It’s intended for automotive use which I actually bought it to put some trim pieces back on my daughter’s car.

I used this 3M auto adhesive I had around to mount in under the lip of my granite counter top in my kitchen. Meant for exterior automotive use. Much better than the stuff that came with it.

biggest thing is the adhesive sustaining through 125F-150F+ temperatures. Interiors of cars will get a LOT hotter than the outside air.

measured the distance of the right side N logo from the edges of the trunk
marked on a piece of masking tape, transferred over to the left side to situate the first E and set level
used another piece of masking tape to keep the distance between letters consistent

Yeah, i got this spoiler. Installation is super easy, they don't ship with the double sided tape but you can get it here on amazon. There's tons of youtube videos explaining the best way to install a spoiler like this. Here's a couple more pictures of it!
