There are 2 models of the vita, OLED and slim. In my experience, it was harder to find a slim vita so I opted for the OLED. The difference between the 2 in terms of modding is that the OLED does not have internal storage, so you will need to buy a vita memory card like this: Amazon Vita Card. With the slim, you won't need a card to install henkaku and enso.
If you don't have the PS TV bundle with the 8GB memory card you can get the 4GB memory from Amazon for $15.41. This isn't too bad and you can still download a few games, the games I downloaded on my PS TV were around 1 GB.

Are you happy now?
Hi, so I ordered a crimson red vita from Japan and I plan to use this youtube guide. But I had a question. So from what I'm understanding, I need an official vita memory card for the initial process? The cheapest and smallest one seems to be the 4gb card. And then once I follow the guide fully, I can swap to this SD2Vita guide and be able to use a micro sd card instead of the official vita one? I'm new at all this, thanks!
