I got this $20 set from Amazon:

It has 4 different hardness brushes. To be honest I don't use them often, but for what they cost it's a great tool to have for when you need it.
I used this brush

And also used this cleaner. It works so great and you’re supposed to dilute it 20-1 so a little goes a really long way.

It was crazy easy, I just sprayed a bit of the cleaner. Let it sit for about 30 seconds and started using the drill brush and you can see the stuff come up immediately. I used a microfiber to clean up after the brushing and I was done. No steaming or extracting necessary.
Most of the time, steel wool works just fine for all cleaning;) but I use drill brushes all the time, the nylon ones though not the metal ones. And mostly just the yellow and green ones. The red brush definitely scratches soft metal. I also have some spin-on-the-end-of-a-drill scratch pads, different colors of those. Those are pretty good for smoothing out cooking surfaces and smoothing down skillet bottoms, but kinda dangerous on the walls. I have to be really careful with those though, those and a little comet, on the top of a SBL handle, and those scratches will be there forever.
I do use metal spin bits, but only on my Foredom and my Dremel, and only for very fine detailing, and very infrequently. Mostly on detailing I use more scratch pad type bits, like these, but these too can go scratch the heck out of a piece. It takes a while to get used to these, so maybe don't try them on a #14LBL.
