But used these more robust D-rings for mounting: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01DEFD3N8
Then reinforced with bungees/bungee balls and straps I had laying around to keep it from sagging too much. Any cheap straps will do and I've added another strap across the middle since the pic was taken.
I've since learned to only store up there what I originally intended for this net while driving - clothes and extra bedding. Solid objects have a tendency to become missiles.
