I wrote and illustrated a small book for my 5 year old daughter. She is now 6 and is starting to read it. It's "A day with The Queen" where the Queen Elizabeth's dog takes us through the palace of Buckingham, explains what The Queen job is and shows what she does most days. We see her meeting Theresa May, The Prime Minister, then reading her red box and finally she goes to Prince George's birthday party where she joins the rest of her family. It is fully illustrated and the texts are simple and meant to be fun.
We lived in the UK for several years, so I wanted to explain to her, that there are real princesses and ruling Queens beyond Disney characters...This was my way of doing it...and I had fun! It is for sale at amazon uk and usa https://www.amazon.co.uk/day-Queen-Diana-Del-Negro/dp/1688372989/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=a+day+with+the+queen&qid=1579945420&sr=8-1
