A World after Liberalism.
This is a book I am currently listening to on my walks. Here is the Amazon link https://www.amazon.com/World-after-Liberalism-Philosophers-Radical/dp/0300243111
This is a pretty short and concise description from an honest enemy of the thinkers of the dissident right of the philosophers/thinkers that many on the new right/alt right are the children. There are five thinkers, two I had heard of before (Spengler and Ebola) and three I had not (Francis Parker Yockley, Alain de Benoist and Samuel Francis).
Long and short, if you want to know where Moldbug and Bronze Age Pervert get their ideas, this is a shortcut to where they got their ideas. The main idea, if I can distill 5 authors with wildly disagreeable views, is there is such a thing as peoples, they correspond to where these people and their ancestors were born, they have common ideas how to live life and universalism is false. There is a natural heirarchy among people, none better than the other but all different.
Long and short, very well written and well worth reading even if you know nothing of the characters involved.
(Of the 5 described, I read/listened to Spengler. I had to jack the speed up to 2.5x to finish it. Needed an editor and I agree with the central thesis but the man needed a cruel editor.).
