They do but you have to be fast and stay on top of misleading listings.

For example- someone’s passing off last year’s Staples system as an A5 when it’s really more of a B6+.

There’s also this and while I can’t speak to the quality- it doesn’t look bad.

I have a TN from amazon and they don't have the knot. The elastic bands have a metal clasp so it ends up being about the same thickness as the band itself. I have a cheap pocket TN from Michael's that has the exact same thing. Neither of them are bothersome. In the end you can always restring your notebooks of course, and move the knot anywhere you'd like!

This is the exact notebook I use. I distressed the front to have the BW logo on it, and the notebooks that go inside are dot grid (my personal favorite since it helps with vertical alignment without being cluttered with lines) and cheap, so you can be pretty modular with which notebooks go in and when. I use one for copies of my PCs and NPCs, one for notes on the campaign, and one for general use that I organize my ideas from. I haven't had to replace any of the notebooks yet, but like I said, it's cheap to do so.

Galen leather has leather 3 pen zip cases for around 40 bucks. The 5 pen zippered case that holds a field notes or cashiers journal is around 50.

Pen stands are relatively inexpensive.

Last year I purchased my first couple of bottles of Sailor Shikiori inks and I'm quite smitten with them. If the person you are gifting doesn't have any of those I'd recommend some of those inks. I have Tokiwa-Matsu, a lovely shading pine green ink, and Okuyama, a beautiful red. My next few ink purchases will be from Sailor. Terrific inks.
