This is enough to grow monster plants, nothing wrong with anything just can’t keep up this hobby anymore. Last grow between 4 plants I harvested about 2 pounds of great product.
Tents cheap, $100 maybe, horticulture lighting is the brand.
It's an ac infinity 6 inch inline
I run just a basic vivosun filter, as I have found that no matter what route you go, they go bad around the same time anyways. I would rather spend $50 every 6 months than $100 every 8 months for a better filter. If that makes sense?
With my fan I just set desired temps and it adjusts CFM to match the range I set. It works well, up to like almost 400 CFM, but that's reduced by ≈25-30% with the filter attached
300 for a t4 isn’t a good deal. Amazon has them for 120-250 for the t4-t8. I think you have a t6, but you can tell because the diameter is the same as number. If you do have the t4 go ahead and order yourself some 4”-6” adapters and start running 6” vents. I have a t4 and that helped me a ton! Here is the t6 link to price check me - AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6, Quiet 6” Inline Duct Fan with Temperature Humidity Controller - Ventilation Exhaust Fan for Heating Cooling Booster, Grow Tents, Hydroponics [link]
So a few things.
Look at the T6, not the S6.
Second, don't try to light the whole tent at once. If you do a couple of smaller boards, you can stagger your light purchases. You'll get off the ground and growing faster, save some bucks and you can always buy another light down the road.
One QB 240 could grow 2-3 autos depending on how you arrange them in the tent.

There also is one (6") Somewhere on Amazon that has just a basic speed controller and is cheaper. About 110.
That’s on the table for sure. I have one from Lowe’s that’s helping but I’ve been thinking about upping the ante a bit.
Would something like this be reasonable or is this more of a indoor grow room sort of device?
Cause this..is loud as hell
> Right now it's in a room, so the exhaust is staying in the room
Until you solve this, everything else is likely window dressing. You can do proper front-to-back, covered sides, etc. but even a medium-sized room will slowly creep up in temp in a day or so.
I used an inline duct fan, collect off the top rear of the rack and vent into the garage. Works pretty well...
When you say 8in extractor what do you mean. I ordered this
I thought about temps. My basement is about 60 degrees normally. I can always open a window down there too
Hey again! So I found this 6 inch ac infinity would this be good? [link]
Because you mentioned quietness I’ll link this
I don’t own that fan myself, I have a cheaper one that is quite noisy, but will upgrade to this at some point. Anyone who I’ve read about having used it swears by it though.
You can get cheaper bundles, but because the noise of your fan is important to you (it wasn’t as important a factor for me) you probably will need to spend that bit extra on the fan.
As for filters, check out Rhino Pro, Mountain Air or Phresh filters. Mountain air is the most expensive of the three. The Rhino Pro I’m using has impressed me so far, no smell at all from my tent unless I open the door of it.
Is it this thing? [link] With the fancy temp control shit? If it's that I would bypass the whole board and power the fan directly, Or at least I would try. You could, as some one else here stated replace some of the obviously burnt components, try your best to find a kit on amazon of a various set of those components. And try your hand at soldering. You will have to do some research and learning to find the right values for the parts. It can be repaired but at what cost? But you can't go wrong trying to fix it cheaply because it's already a lost cause.
Thanks! The reason I was wondering about phosphorus deficiency is due to the purple stems and leaf veins. It was mentioned to me that was not normal. In all honesty, I thought the plants were ok before then. There are a few with some wilting leaves and some of the lower leaves on a few plants started to curl on the edges. It may have gotten too warm inside the tent the other day. I’m ordering a ventilation system on Thursday from Amazon. Here it is. Ventilation System It’s supposed to monitor the temp and humidity and adjust fan speeds as needed. Thank you for your help and also for that link! I’m going there now.
Thanks for the input! Is this what you have? : AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6, Quiet 6” Inline Duct Fan with Temperature Humidity Controller - Ventilation Exhaust Fan for Heating Cooling Booster, Grow Tents, Hydroponics [link]
On amazon the T6 is $149.99. The code worked for me there.
Are you talking about this 6 in AC infinity product? Are there any cheaper AC infinity exhaust fan packages that do not have a thermostat. 169$ CAD is too much for my ventilation budget. I don't need anything quiet as my grow will be in my garage.

> i basically just need a light and thats it? if i want to grow autoflower only
oh boi... alright here we go.
youll need duct fans for both ventilation and heat dissipation, especially if you go with HPS/MH lights 600/1000watts will require reflectors with ducting so you can connect to it. This will need to exhaust out of your tent. Then you will need a intake fan coming preferably from outside. Youll most likely also need a Carbon filter attached in series to your exhaust fan. Your light will have a ballast as well, which creates a good amount of heat so plan for that to be located outside your tent. Youll also need smaller fans in the corners so you can keep a good air circulation going (hurricane fans are great). Also consider using T5 lights when starting your seeds off as your higher wattage lights are not good for seedlings. Also get a few supplies like gorilla tape and duct clamps and anything else you might need to secure everything together.
When it comes to growing, even if you are only doing autos youll need smart pots, fertilizer, promix HP, perlite plus both vegging and flowering nutrients. Have access to PH up and down solution, and also get a Ph Pen + PPM meter (TDS).
Ive only linked amazon, there are probably other local options for you.
> Doesn’t AC Infinity primarily make stuff for ahem, “other home uses”.
I use an Cloudline T6 in my office (along with a T1-N and T2 in the rack itself) to rapidly evacuate the hot air that builds up during the work day from my rack.
I have the control panel mounted to the side of my desk right now with the T6 mounted in the window, blanking out all other air gaps.
Eventually this will get mounted into the ceiling above the rack, pulling the air into the existing HVAC ducts in the attic (and reduce the sound from the T6).
No growing here, other than growing the footprint of my servers and VMs.
yeah i started with the vivosun 2 in 1 messing with different configurations then the gf got me the gorilla and no looking back.
this is my fan:
AC Infinity Air Carbon Filter 6" with Premium Australian Virgin Charcoal, for Inline Duct Fan, Odor Control, Hydroponics, Grow Rooms [link]
I run it in the tent where the fan pushes air through the filter out the tent and it creates negative pressure contributing to smell prevention
swap that front fan with an axial duct fan ;)
Airflow will never be a problem again
I bought it off amazon.
Here is the duct fan i used:
And here is the ducting:
Intercooler like a inline fan? I.e: AC infinity hydroponics solution
I've never used the iPower. I made sure my budget didn't skip out of quality lights or inline fan - they're super important for plant growth. I can say that if you've got the extra cash, the AC Infinity Inline fans are the way to go. I find it hard to believe that in their price range there's a quieter or better built fan.
I bought the T6 with the control module but you could get away with a 4" which is cheaper.
Right on dude, just joined both. Going to order that tent tomorrow, and another light.
I may start out with this fan-https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwjImsvG7ZXwAhUlGa0GHVo-BFIYABAHGgJwdg&ae=2&sig=AOD64_10mPRrfh_Bz95Fawa8ON3LZs0vIw&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwi_9b3G7ZXwAhUiAp0JHQ4SCVIQ9aACegQIARBB&adurl=
and upgrade to this one later down the line https://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-CLOUDLINE-T6-Temperature/dp/B074XBXFPD/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=ac+infinity+fan+with+filter&qid=1619232148&s=hi&sr=1-6
you think that first one will get the job done for now?

Not listed is the jug of distilled white vinegar for pH down. I have a bottle of nectar for the gods olympus up but never had to pH up. Also my soil is purple cow indicanja. I also did not link this but I’m really considering getting some saucers for the fabric pots to sit in, less mess for when it runs off while watering. Also humidity domes are cool but I didn’t want to spend the money, you can make your own out of a 2 liter bottle or a large Gatorade/Powerade bottle.
Get one of these things, a dehumidifier, maybe even a small ac unit that you can use to cool the tent.
It's an awesome fan and very quiet.
I have the same one....Infinity 6 inch inline.
Not sure where the cold air return is yet. For pulling air in the plan was to just leave the door a few inches short of the floor. Since aesthetic of this closet is also important, the door will be mostly glass. Since posting I've found this in duct fan that people seem to be raving about.
In a small tent like that you want as little heat as possible so LED is the only way to go, you will have to find the Amazon items on the Canadian version but these links will give you a reference to work from.
Drop BOMBS! When you install it relocate the driver outside the tent.
AC Infinity with Humidity control.
Just get the cheap Vivosun filter, I use it and it works fine.
Here is my shopping list guide, I bet you find several things you can't live without. :)
