What OS will you be using? If Openmedia vault. It wont allow you to make raids via usb so i suggest getting something like this (hardware raid box) https://www.amazon.com/Enclosure-3-5-inch-External-Docking-Station/dp/B09CQ1988T. If you're using Windows, you can just use the enclosure in JBOD mode then software raid the drives via storage spaces
