About 5 years ago I jammed my top-hand wrist poke checking a puck and getting the player's skates instead. Nothing broken or sprained, but just enough to where it's never been quite the same. The joint cracks and pops all the time, and I need just a little more support on it when shooting.
This works perfect for me. Just enough to help without getting in the way:
I'd start with very mild support and go up until you find what works best.
I have one, it worked pretty well but it was sort of cumbersome. I bought an adjustable ACE wrist wrap that worked better for me.
I don't have any experience with those ones. I have used this and from the look of it is probably more secure. The velcro will still peel off if you bend it too much. If you are looking for something which won't come off at all then this is what you want, it has metal splints which can easily be taken out.
