Hello! So I used the blue light glasses for a few weeks, then discontinued since I wasn’t seeing a lot of benefit. So I don’t really have any additional thoughts to add about the level of damage, I’m really not sure. As far as skin protectants go, Labmuffin mentioned iron oxides (like those in foundations) and antioxidants were protective. Another idea, if you’re really paranoid about the damage is you could wear a sun mask like this that covers your whole face, just leaving the area around the eyes exposed.
Get a balaclava! It helps keep my ears back. Also try a different approach to putting on your helmet.
Oh man, I wonder what was in that sunscreen that would cause you to react so much! I hope you get back to a place where you can start using the products you enjoy again.
I do want to say wearing a SPF face cover is an useful option when sunscreen just is not working for you (been there during my worst flares). I wear this when I do anything outdoorsy in winter time and this when it is summer. It helps to cut down on the amount of sunscreen I need and protects me from all the elements that aggravate rosacea!
